Carlinia

The Candlemaker of Teleria, Carlinia joins the Sacred Order as part of Patch 5.80.

Unlike her distant cousin in the dwarven faction, Candleguard, Carlinia has some unique and useful effects in her skills. She is probably best used alongside a reliable HP Burn champion. When she uses her A2 against a Burning target, she will be able to place Decrease Attack without requiring accuracy (although this is not with a 100% chance!). Her a3 will help keep debuffs off your team and also provide an unremovable Strengthen buff. This is the weaker version so may well be replaced if you bring the stronger version. Her passive is the unique part of her kit. She will reduce the duration of enemy buffs if they are burning and taking a turn.

Overall she’s a decent epic however her kit is not reliable and it doesn’t place the best version of debuffs. She may prove to be a useful epic as you take your first steps in Hydra to deal with the Head of Mischief and may prove useful against the Celestial Griffin in Doom Tower when he steals buffs if you can keep the burns up.
