Vergumkaar
When you are so big you can’t fit on a player’s screen, you know you’ve got a monstrous champion which unfortunately Vergumkaar doesn’t quite live up to. Often hailed as the vomit frog for his puking animations, he received a buff in Patch 6.40 to help bring his utility up to a more valued standing.
You will utilise Vergumkaar in scenarios where you are likely to face debuffs and specifically provokes. He was designed to counter any Provoke champions in the Arena however this is rarely seen in most high end meta. With his A3 you get the ability to remove buffs and with his recent change you’re also gain a Decrease Defence debuff and Heal Reduction debuff on all enemies. His A2, fully removes Provoke and an additional debuff on your team whilst also providing an Increase Defence buff and a shield. His passive means Vergumkaar will never be provoked allowing you cut in and effectively neutralise any provoke debuffs on your team (through his self buff Turn Meter and followed by an A2 cleanse).
Overall a decent Legendary champion however he is heavily dependant on books and doesnt really need to be used due to a lack of presence of Provoke in most areas of the game. You’ll find some niche usages for him but hes unlikely to make many teams long term.
