Build A Slayer In Godforge

Slayers are the heavy hitters of Godforge. Their entire identity is about dealing maximum destruction—whether through pure crit nukes or debuff-driven strikes. In this guide, we’ll cover how to identify Slayers, what stats to prioritize, when Accuracy becomes essential, and practical builds you can follow.

Identifying Slayers & Multipliers

Look for the skull icon on your roster screen. All Slayers scale heavily off Attack, this can be found by clicking the details icon in the ability section. Your priorities are clear: Attack% everywhere, Crit Rate capped at 100%, and Crit Damage stacked high. Some Slayers, however, also need Accuracy to land debuffs like Bleeds, Blaze, or Drain.

Core Stat Priorities

Stats matter more than set bonuses in most cases.

  • Crit Rate: Aim for 100% (90% is the bare minimum).
  • Crit Damage: Stack after crit-capping.
  • Attack: Your foundation.
  • Speed/Initiative: Nice bonuses, don’t gut too much damage for it.
  • Accuracy: Only if the kit demands it (180+ for late content).

No-Accuracy Slayer Build (Zeus)

No Accuracy Slayer Build Example

Zeus is the textbook crit nuker. His build revolves around a Crit Rate helm, Crit Damage shoulders, Attack% chest, and a pairing of Speed and Attack% on legs and boots. Gloves can be Crit Damage if you’re already crit-capped, or Crit Rate if you’re short. The goal is simple: hit 100% crit, then push Crit Damage and Attack as high as your gear allows. Zeus doesn’t need Accuracy, so every slot can be optimized purely for raw burst.

Accuracy Slayer Build (Ramses)

Accuracy Slayer Build Example

Ramses is a different story. His Acid debuff requires Accuracy to make his damage stick. Heka (even after the changes) is a standout weapon here, converting Attack into HP (giving some survivability) while also providing the Accuracy you need. From there, look for Crit Rate on your helm, Crit Damage on your shoulders, and Attack% on your chest, ideally with some Accuracy baked in. Gloves often start with Crit Rate until you’re capped, while legs and boots split between Attack% and Speed. Ramses plays best when he sits around 180+ Accuracy, but for top cavern stages, pushing beyond 200 will give you the consistency you need.

Weapon Choices That Matter

Weapon selection can make or break your Slayer. Heka is an excellent choice for Accuracy-dependent Slayers, as it solves both damage and debuff reliability in one slot—especially powerful if you roll Crit Damage on it. For pure damage dealers, Thunderbolt adds extra ultimate punch and HP-scaling output, while World Splitter is excellent for providing raw stats if you are running slightly lower on gear. Traditional options like Mjölnir or Blood Sword still work too, provided they bring the Attack and Crit Damage rolls you’re chasing.

Best Imprints for Slayers

Imprints let you fine-tune your Slayers for either more damage or a touch of survivability. Hound of Duat gives you barrier protection, while Bauks rewards you with counterattacks in debuff-heavy fights like Fafnir. Cait Sith adds vanish and stat boosts at the start of each round, a perfect fit for Accuracy builds. Shinigami’s Afterlife Calls works as a finisher, once enemies are past low HP thresholds. Other strong choices include YTG’s for Blaze/Aether Burn setups, Zeus for damage stacking, and Hercules for extra staying power.

Gear Sets Worth Targeting & The TLDR

While stats trump sets, these combos stand out:

  • Avenger: Damage + sustain via lifesteal synergy.
  • Slayer: Flat Attack% boost.
  • Soul: Big ultimate damage.
  • Jaguar / Claw: Crit Damage or Crit Rate fixes.
  • Razor: Extra damage vs. debuffed enemies.

TLDR:

  • Crit Rate: 100% is the law
  • Crit Damage: Stack as high as you can
  • Attack: Always more
  • Accuracy: 180–200+ if needed
  • Weapons: Heka for debuffers, Thunderbolt/World Splitter for nukers

Closing Thoughts

Slayers are the dopamine dealers of Godforge and built right, they turn tricky waves into highlight reels. Start by reading your hero’s multipliers, decide early whether Accuracy is part of the plan, then gear up for battle .
