Simon from Fateless recently shared an in-depth look at the world-building process, showcasing the meticulous concepting, artistic vision, and 3D execution that bring Godforge’s settings to life. The Avalon: A Celtic-Inspired Battlefield

Concept artist Edu has led the charge in designing this lush and mystical landscape, ensuring it captures the essence of mythology while providing a dynamic backdrop for battles.

Godforge’s level design incorporates a Lego block system, meaning players won’t feel like they’re stuck in repetitive environments. Instead, Avalon and other levels will have randomized elements, making each playthrough feel fresh. Time itself is a key theme in this particular boss arena, which takes inspiration from mystical, circular structures and ethereal lighting effects. The team referenced elements from Loki’s environment in the Marvel universe, particularly the glowing rings and celestial color palette, to create a space that feels both ancient and otherworldly.

Arena Battles: The Stonehenge-Inspired Battlefield

Beyond campaign and boss encounters, Godforge will feature arena-style battles, and one such stage is based on Stonehenge.
