Fateless’ OP Gods & Legends You Should Build Right Now

Looking for the fastest way to melt waves, bully bosses, and push deep into the Caverns? Well today, Simon from Fateless dropped a video highlighting the standout rares, epics, and legendaries from this wave. He shares the imprints and synergies that make them sing, and a few clever tricks that can save you energy and runs. If you’ve been staring at 151 and dreaming of big numbers… let’s get you there.

Energy, Challenges, and a Sneaky 2 Star Trick

Challenge Mode isn’t just a sideshow—it’s premium fuel. Looping back to mop up challenge conditions is an efficient way to top up energy, snag XP, and stack resources for your next push. One neat trick: any condition that says “all allies” (like “all allies must have a barrier”) can be satisfied by soloing with a single carry—one hero equals all allies. Use that to scoop quick completions and refill the tank.

Rares That Punch Above Their Weight

Maria Morevna in game

Reducing early access to legendaries has had the intended effect: everyone’s discovering the rare/epic all-stars that carry real weight. Here are the rares you should prioritize:

Maria Morevna

Maria’s secret sauce is how fast she ults. With a low divinity requirement and extra gain when enemies buff up, she’s practically ready to pop from the get-go. Add her 3-turn core that ignores barrier and shield, and she steamrolls waves. Gear her like a proper damage dealer and let her go to work.

Use her when: You need fast clears, you’re facing buff-happy enemies, or you want a no-nonsense wave cutter alongside your CC.

Skadi

Skadi’s kit is stuffed: multi-hit basic with freeze chances, random multi-hit with additional freeze rolls, AOE speed down (stronger vs frozen targets), and a passive that reduces frozen enemies’ divinity. She offers reliable control from mid-caverns onward.

Why she’s clutch: Later stages often hinge on turn denial. Skadi brings it while priming your team to lap the enemy.

Isolde

Given to all players early, Isolde’s kit is comfort food: basic heal, DEF Up + Turn Meter on core, and an ultimate cleanse + more Turn Meter. Her imprint passive is one of the most popular in the alpha—great for stabilizing boss fights and clutching bad waves. (Heads-up: there are a couple quirky interactions with Isoldes passive and teamwide Retaliate on defenders; if something feels off, try swapping who holds what.)

Hippolyta

Hippolyta shines in Olympian shells. She brings team shield + Speed Up, joint attacks, and faction DEF stacking via passive. As a defender, she slots naturally into survivable comps that still maintain tempo.

Pro tip: Aim for 3–4 Olympians to fully juice her passive and team speed plan.

Epics Doing Epic Things

Brynhild in game

Achilles

Stack Bleeds up to the cap, let them tick, and either leave them on for sustained boss damage or rip them off with his ultimate for a colossal detonation when you’re geared and confident. Retaliate loops help him reapply basics and maintain pressure.

Bring him to: Golden Guardian, Fafnir, and any bulky single-target check.

Brynhild

Brynhild  is everywhere in high-score teams. ATK Down keeps bosses honest, DEF-scaling damage and Radiance 2 reflect a chunk of incoming damage, DEF Up, Intercept, self-cleanse, and shielding round out a shockingly complete defensive kit. Her passive can splash Blaze 2 back on attackers when Radiance is up.

Translation: She makes you live longer and punishes bosses for trying.

Mordred

With skill-ups and awakenings, Mordred’s Confuse becomes a two-turn menace on a reduced cooldown; time it right and you chain control wave after wave. There’s some jank around extending Confuse/Corrupt via ultimate, but even baseline, Mordred is top-tier CC and a genuine problem-solver for stages like 142 and 148.

Green Knight

Strong control baseline; currently a known quirk where Taunt can persist on bosses longer than intended. Even without that, he’s a very serviceable controller who buys time for your damage plan.

Imhotep

If your runs crumble to attrition, Imhotep brings steadier sustain and helps your comp stabilize through rough waves.

Legendary Headliners You’ll See Everywhere

Zeus

Zeus is a monster with a joint attack ultimate, rapid divinity gain, and an A1 that shreds. When he’s fully tooled, he can chain turns and obliterate squads. Also buffs team damage (doubled for Olympians). Ridiculous wave speed, absurd fun.

Heimdall

Heimdal’s ultimate delivers DEF Up + a huge shield + Protection, and his core spreads Retaliate, Intercept, and Ward. His basic can transfer debuffs back to enemies—surprisingly effective into Fafnir. Defensive cornerstone that supercharges reactive comps.

Hercules

Herc’s Hydra Club wipes waves, but don’t forget Accuracy: he wants it for Acid on his A1 and Stun on his core. His ultimate is cheap and refunds divinity on enemy deaths, letting him cycle repeatedly. Add Zero to Hero (revive to full) and you’ve got a stubborn, snowballing carry.

Sphinx

ATK Down, Blunt potential, Vanish for anti-targeting, Accuracy Down on enemies, and max HP destruction tools. Pairs well with Retaliate shells—think Heimdall—where constant pokes can layer ATK Down into boss fights.

Shamash

A join-attack core, a revive, and a basic that pulls in the lowest-divinity ally. If you funnel divinity away from a chosen nuke (Herc is perfect), you can consistently proc the pairing you want.

Isis

With awakening, Isis adds Mend to become a potent long-fight stabilizer. She’s the support you slot when stages feel like marathons.

Anubis

Anubis is at his best when he goes after a nuker: if an enemy dies, he spreads Despair to the room. He also applies Banish so kills can’t be revived—ideal into compositions leaning on revivers like Isis or Shamash.

Plus-ones to Watch

Horus (support/defense), Odin (Confuse/Charm + nuke), Hel and YDG (heavy damage). Most legendaries have solid niches—build the ones that fit your shell rather than chasing every shiny.

Imprints & Synergies That Overperform

  • Isolde’s imprint is a community favorite for stabilizing boss fights and shaving off “oops” moments. If your frontline feels brittle, start here.
  • Beowulf’s imprint (+10% Brawlers vs Bosses) is a simple, effective damage bump for your primary single-target nuke.
  • Bauk’s imprint (counterattack when disabled) can turn enemy control into free procs if your basic slaps. Place it thoughtfully so you don’t grief your CC plan.

Faction teams are real. Olympians (Zeus, Herc, Hippolyta, etc.) pile on speed, joint attacks, and damage amps. If you can form a 3–4 Olympian spine, you’ll feel the difference in tempo and consistency

Quick Build Notes (Keep It Simple)

  • Accuracy matters more than people think—especially on Herc (Stun), Pangu (debuffs), Skadi (Freeze), and Sphinx (ATK/ACC manipulation).
  • Survivability creeps the deeper you go. Brynhild, Heimdall, and Isolde make greedy DPS builds possible because they blunt incoming damage.
  • Retaliate teams are powerful but watch for odd interactions with certain defender imprints. If your chain reactions stop working, try reshuffling who holds which passive.

Final Thoughts

Godforge sings when you lean into synergy: a fast AOE clearer, a reliable controller, a dedicated boss plan, and one or two imprints that glue it all together. If you only build a handful from this list, start with Skadi (control), Maria Morevna (DPS), Achilles (boss plan), Brynhild (defensive core), and one headline legendary that complements your team —Zeus for waves, Heimdall for team safety, or Pangu for universal utility.
