Godforge Alpha 3 Community Event: Everything You Need to Know
The final alpha for Godforge is here, and it is not a quiet stroll through the Caverns of Chaos. It is a full community event with leaderboards, daily account drops, new rewards, key rebalances, and a very spicy Fafnir challenge that will test both your endurance and your damage planning. If you love theorycrafting, pushing limits, and a bit of bragging rights, this one is for you.
Alpha 2 at a Glance
Alpha 2 delivered the kind of numbers that tell a story. Tens of thousands downloaded, a huge chunk stuck around for multiple days, and the total hours played reached into the hundreds of thousands. That equals a community that not only tried Godforge but lived in it.
Clear rates tell the rest. A strong slice of players reached the Golden Guardian on floor 120, and a determined core went further to topple Fafnir on 150. Many of those winners then farmed endgame bosses for heroes and gold, which is exactly the loop the team wanted to validate. The takeaways are simple. The core loop is fun, the mid to endgame is sticky, and the Caverns reward both skill and persistence.
How to Get In and Get Rolling

Access remains straightforward, whether you play on mobile or desktop. Use the fresh launcher on PC or Mac, and make sure you remove older installs so your drive does not bloat. Mobile players should whitelist as directed and then follow the email prompts. The goal for this wave is a big stress test, so feel free to invite friends who can grab the launcher and a code. The more Scions diving in, the better the data for launch.
There is also a new Godforge website arriving with leaderboards and community tracking. Bookmark it once shared in Discord. It will host the Alpha 3 boards and later become the home for pre registration rewards, mini games, and other community fun between alpha and beta.
The Community Event: Bragging Rights and Real Keepsakes
This event is all about shared discovery, high level competition, and memorable keepsakes. No entry fees, no prize pool, just prestige and thank you rewards for the players who push the Caverns to their limits.
- The team that deals the highest damage to Fafnir on floor 151 will be immortalized in a Squidmar diorama, permanently displayed in Verkos Vault. The top five players on the Fafnir damage leaderboard will have their usernames engraved on the diorama, and the top one hundred will be etched into the base.
- Everyone who participates earns an exclusive Caverns portrait frame that will never return.
- Play every day of the final wave and you will bank a 1000 rubies for full launch.
- The first one thousand players to defeat Fafnir on floor 151 receive the Fafnir’s Bane in game title and a real world Godforge medal. These are solid, weighty, and presented in premium packaging.
- Finish the tower and land any amount of damage on Fafnir at 151 to be credited in the official game credits. That is a permanent mark in Godforge history.
Seven Scions will also receive an invitation to a future celebration in Las Vegas, with a masterclass miniature painting session hosted by elite artists at Verkos Vault. Invitations go to the first two Fafnir conquerors at 151, the top two overall Fafnir damage dealers by the end of the event, the first two explorers to get all the challenge stars. There will also be one lucky player drawn at random from anyone who completes at least one cavern level each day. If a single person qualifies in more than one category, the extra invite passes down to the next eligible contender.
Fair play is a pillar of the event. The team will investigate anything suspicious and will act where needed. Exploits that everyone can access equally from an intended hero or item design change fall under the umbrella of acceptable. Anything that crosses into cheating does not.
Daily Drops That Supercharge Your Run

To keep the momentum going, Simon will play Dungeon Master and send regular account boosts during the event. Expect energy, gold, 5 star spirits, plus experience shipments to speed up roster growth. Delivery can take a little time after the go button is pressed, so be patient if a drop lags in your inbox. The intent is simple. Everyone should feel the power ramp and get time to experiment before the event wraps up.
Patch Notes That Change the Meta
This wave flips several knobs that matter for both speed clears and long battles.
- Damage over time fixes now work correctly on bosses. Previously, dot damage was not being reduced as intended and could stack far beyond the cap. Expect bleeds and blazes to remain strong, but the most extreme outcomes are now reined in.
- Divinity gains from passives have been adjusted. Heroes that previously gained divinity from the entire team or battlefield events now focus on their own actions. That reduces infinite ultimate loops and preserves the value of timing and team planning.
- Several heroes and weapons have been tuned for feel and fairness, including a notable change to Heka. It now converts attack into health instead of health into attack. This removes an over tuned synergy where enormous health pools delivered burst damage and unkillable sustain in the same build, while still leaving Heka as a viable option.
- Fafnir at 151 ends at 500 turns. You cannot build immortal bunker teams that grind forever. You must deliver peak damage within a firm window. This turns the leaderboard into a puzzle about damage per minute, turn cycling, and survivability that supports maximum output rather than stall tactics.
- Boss stats at higher floors are bumped to keep the endgame sharp.
- Economy changes improve the midgame. Epic drop rates rise through the middle stretch, legendary rates shift toward the late game, and gear drops improve earlier so that equipment matters before the final sprint. There is also a dedicated farm for eternal alchemy stones at a specific late floor to relieve a common pain point.
- Quality of life upgrades arrive across the board. The battle UI shows wave, turn count, and timer. The Caverns display your total star count. The hero roster shows total owned, and once you exceed the cap new heroes convert cleanly to imprints or spirits.
- Numerous bug fixes land for leaderboards, star tracking, AI behavior, barrier and shield calculations, dot reductions, revive logic, and promotion edge cases.
Closing Thoughts
Alpha 3 is a celebration of everything learned so far. It is a wider stress test, a laboratory for balance, and a chance for the community to etch its name into Godforge history. Jump in, claim your daily boosts, chase stars if that is your style, and when you are ready, let Fafnir feel the full force of your best team.
