Heimdall’s kit is built entirely around defense scaling, damage redirection, and counterattacks. While a known retaliate bug has been present in Wave 1, it hasn’t stopped him from dominating as one of the most dependable frontline heroes.

Basic – Bifrost Blade

• Attacks one enemy, transferring a random debuff from Heimdall to the target.
• If burn, bleed, or acid is transferred, they are immediately activated.
• Excellent for reflecting harmful effects in debuff-heavy boss fights like Fafnir.

Core Ability – Shield & Counterattack Engine

• Places Retaliate and Intercept on all allies for 2 turns, then attacks all enemies.
• Awakened Heimdall also gains Ward for 4 turns, making him immune to direct attack damage until absorbed.
• Creates a cycle where Heimdall absorbs hits and punishes attackers with counterattacks.

Ultimate – Shield of Asgard

• Places Defense Up on all allies for 2 turns.
• Adds a massive shield equal to 400% of his Defense to all allies.
• Applies Protect II to allies (except himself), absorbing part of their incoming damage.
• These buffs can’t be removed from Asgardian allies.

Passive – Reflective Defender

• Allies under buffs have a 30% chance to reflect debuffs back to the enemy.
• Heimdall heals whenever a debuff is reflected.

Leadership Bonus: +30% Defense to the team.

• A3: Places Ward for 4 turns when using his Core Ability.
• A5: Automatically casts Ultimate at the start of each wave, giving immediate shields and protection.

• Qiang – Increases counterattack damage by X%, perfect for Retaliate builds.
• Mjölnir – Grants starting Divinity for immediate Ultimate, great to use if not Awakened 5.
• Shepherd’s Axe – Absorbs a portion of damage dealt to your lowest HP ally.
• Worldsplitter – Boosts base stats by X% across the board.

• Maria Morevna – Boosts damage per buff on Heimdall (synergizes with his constant buff generation).
• Green Knight – Reflects a portion of incoming damage.
• Shishi – Heals allies when enemies attempt to place debuffs.

Primary Goal: Maximize Defense for shield scaling, with Speed and HP as secondary priorities.

Top Gear Sets:

• 4-Piece Bear – +1% Defense per turn (stacks to 15%) plus +25% Defense.
• 2-Piece Parasite – Heals when placing debuffs (synergizes with debuff transfer & reflection).
• Defender Set – Early game alternative for flat Defense boosts.
• Guardian Set – Excellent for further damage redirection synergy.

Stat Priorities:

• Main Stats: Defense% on Chest & Legs. Flat Def on Helmet.
• Boots: Speed.
• Gloves: Crit Rate, Accuracy, Flat Defense (depending on build needs).
• Substats: Defense%, HP%, Speed.

Heimdall excels in fights where constant team protection is essential. In content like Golden Guardian or Fafnir, his massive shields and Protect application prevent wipeouts, while Retaliate punishes enemies for every attack.
