Godforge continues to expand its ever-growing universe, and today, we’re taking a deep dive into one of its most anticipated factions: the Olympus Faction. Inspired by Greek mythology, this faction brings some of the most iconic names from ancient tales to life, boasting incredible character designs and powerful abilities.

If you’re a fan of legendary warriors, divine beings, and epic battles, then buckle up—this is going to be a wild ride!

The Olympus Faction has been in the works for quite some time. Concept art and mood boards were initially drawn up nearly nine months ago, capturing inspiration from other games, historical armor designs, and legendary depictions of Greek heroes and gods. The development team meticulously crafted the faction’s look and feel, ensuring that every hero fit seamlessly within the Godforge universe.

With ten factions planned for the game, Olympus marks the second official reveal following the Aaru Faction, which was inspired by Egyptian mythology. Now, let’s meet some of the standout warriors and gods who will be shaking up the battlefield.

The Olympus Faction is stacked with familiar names from Greek mythology. From battle-hardened Spartans to legendary demigods and deities, each character is crafted with unique abilities and striking designs. Here’s a closer look at the lineup, moving from common heroes all the way up to legendary champions.

Satyr (Common)

A formidable creature with demonic goat-like features, Satyr is a visually striking hero. His muscular physique and strong quads make him an intimidating presence on the battlefield. The developers have also hinted that this base design will be used to create other similar creatures in the game, offering exciting variations.

Spartan (Uncommon)

Spartans are some of the fiercest warriors in mythology, and this one does not disappoint. Armed with a spear and shield, Spartan gets additional buffs when paired with Leonidas, making him a deadly force in battle. Fully rendered in 3D, he is battle-ready and waiting to take the fight to Olympus’ enemies.

Hippolyta (Rare Amazonian Warrior)

Hippolyta, Queen of the Amazons, is an incredibly detailed rare hero in the game. Designed from scratch, her 3D render stays true to the concept art, showcasing her warrior essence. Her armor and weapon designs are nearly finished, promising an exceptional presence on the battlefield.

Odysseus (Rare Hero)

A legend in Greek mythology, Odysseus brings tactical brilliance to the Olympus faction. Armed with a mace and a custom-designed shield, his character pays homage to his mythological counterpart. Expect Penelope to join him in-game soon as well!

Icarus (Rare Hero)

Icarus is a visually stunning character, with intricately detailed wings that set him apart from the other Olympians. Though he is currently in a T-pose, awaiting animation, his 3D model highlights the level of detail going into his feathers and armor. His unique design is bound to make him a favorite.

Achilles (Epic Hero)

The invincible warrior himself, Achilles, joins the fray as an epic hero. His signature sword and shield are designed to perfection, reflecting his prowess as a near-unstoppable fighter. His textured armor and final design are nearing completion, making him one of the faction’s most anticipated warriors.

Leonidas (Epic Hero)

Leonidas is already in full animation mode, meaning his abilities and attacks are actively being developed. One of his signature moves includes a powerful Spartan kick, reinforcing his legendary warrior status. His armor and shield design remain true to the historical and cinematic depictions we all love.

Aphrodite (Legendary Goddess of Love and Beauty)

One of the few female heroes revealed so far, Aphrodite is getting the royal treatment in 3D design. While her weapon is still in development, her detailed model showcases an ethereal presence fitting for the goddess of love.

Hercules (Legendary Bruiser)

Hercules is as powerful as you’d expect, featuring a massive war club inspired by the Hydra’s twisting heads. His lion’s mane cape pays tribute to his legendary Labors, and his Olympian insignia further cements his status as one of the faction’s strongest warriors.

Zeus (King of the Gods)

Zeus, the most powerful Olympian, is already fully rendered in 3D and in-game. While his animations and VFX are still in development, expect lightning-fueled abilities that will make him a force to be reckoned with.

Hades (God of the Underworld)

Hades is one of the most meticulously designed heroes in the game. The developers spent a long time perfecting his look, moving away from the common “evil necromancer” trope to a more unique interpretation. His armor, weaponry, and mystical accessories reflect his dominion over the Underworld. Though his 3D model is still being textured, the concept art already places him among the most exciting designs in Godforge.

With over 10 heroes already revealed, the Olympus Faction is shaping up to be one of the most complete and visually impressive factions in Godforge. The developers are hard at work bringing each hero to life through 3D animation, ability VFX, and in-game mechanics.
