Enemy Waves

Below are the waves you will face in the secret room including the stats – generally secret room enemies are much slower than other aspects of Doom Tower. You should pay special attention to the following problematic champions:

  1. Astralith – Due to the fact that her bombs cannot be resisted, and that she has very high base ATK (8,209) Her bombs will hit incredibly hard, you will want to keep her controlled, or maintain Block Debuffs before she is able to cast her bombs, this will almost certainly kill a Champion.
  2. Block Revives – You will face Foli, Queen Eva and Zavia who are able to Block your Revives, it is advisable to run a Champion who can bring Decrease ATK to this stage so that you have less to worry about by nullifying their damage potential.
  3. Blind Seer – Revivers are always pesky and annoying in wave content, but Blind Seer is incredibly frustrating, as she does not only Revive, but also brings Block Damage.

How to beat the secret room!

spacer

Below is the recommend team that is best fit to beat this room. We also detail alternatives for each champion if you do not have them. It is worth noting alternatives are fine replacements but will be less efficient i.e. potentially make the run slower or require you to run a few times to get good RNG.

There are two ways of approaching this stage, you can either:

a) Keep Blind Seer controlled, and deal with the rest of the threats, however, if the control on Blind Seer fails, she will revive them all with Block Damage.
b) Control the threats, and take out the Reviver first!

We’d recommend option B in most situations, as there’s less risk of having to re-do the wave, thankfully there are many strong options for Control within the Dark Elves, as well as a plethora of options for Decrease DEF and Damage Dealers!

Be sure to hold off any cleanses, if available to deal with Bomb threats from Astralith, but aside from that, this is a fairly straightforward stage due to the strength in the Dark Elves faction.

MVP’s for this Strategy

Psylar – As an Epic Champion, Psylar is one of the best options for AOE Control, realistically in the game – due to her full AOE Kit, she really benefits from wearing a control set such as Stun, or Provoke, to help keep enemies under control for even longer whilst she cycles her A3 ability.

Visix the Unbowed – A FREE Champion! Visix brings another two forms of control with an AOE Provoke, and Decrease SPD, ontop of A1 Turn Meter Control, whilst also protecting your team with Ally Protection, she is a great option to ensure that you’re able to keep a high uptime of control whilst dealing with this stage.

Lydia the Deathsiren – If you have finished Faction Wars, Lydia is a no-brainer to include in this stage, unless you have a Ghostborn, she is going to be the best option for Decrease DEF, and also brings AOE Weaken, to help you deal with waves efficiently – furthermore, Lydia’s A3 ability will Block Cooldown Skills on a single enemy, allowing you to lock them out of the fight – which is a way of handling the Blind Seer situation!

Champion Alternatives
