The Strongest New Player Start RAID Has Ever Offered?

Starting a new RAID: Shadow Legends account has always been about compromise.

You choose one free Champion, claim a promo code, and then spend the next few weeks hoping your Ancient Shards fill the gaps. You need a healer, a cleanser, a Poisoner, someone to keep your team alive, someone who can deal with Clan Boss, and someone capable of pushing Dungeons without falling over.

That has always been the early-game experience.

This new player combination changes it completely.

For the first time, new players can build an account around a complete progression core from the moment they create it. Between the new download link and the current promo code, you’ll receive King Gallcobar, Pelops the Victor, Criodan the Blue, Venomage, and Fahrakin the Fat before your account even reaches Level 30.

On paper, that’s already an outstanding lineup. In practice, it becomes clear that this is much more than a collection of strong Champions. Together they cover almost every challenge a new account faces, bringing healing, cleansing, Shields, crowd control, HP Burn, Poison damage, Ally Attack, Turn Meter manipulation, buff removal and the survivability needed to progress far earlier than most fresh accounts ever could.

That isn’t just theory.

This combination has already cleared all 252 Campaign stars, including Nightmare, within the opening week of an account. It comfortably farms Stage 20 Dragon and Ice Golem, reaches Gold Arena within days, tackles Brutal Clan Boss with ease, and has already begun pushing into Nightmare Clan Boss.

Even more impressive is how those milestones were achieved. The account wasn’t built with perfect gear, completed masteries or fully booked Champions. Most of the progression came with average equipment and whatever resources naturally became available along the way.

RAID has introduced plenty of fantastic new player offers over the years. Some gave players an exceptional Arena Champion, others accelerated Clan Boss progression, and a few completely changed the pace of the early game. This offer takes a different approach. Rather than handing you one incredible Champion and asking you to solve everything else yourself, it gives you the foundation of an entire account.

That’s why we believe this isn’t just the best new player link currently available.

It may well be the strongest start RAID: Shadow Legends has ever offered.

What do you get?

Fahrakin the Fat

Level 30

One of the biggest strengths of this offer isn’t simply the quality of the Champions. It’s how quickly you receive them.

Instead of waiting weeks for lucky Shard pulls, your core team is built naturally as you level your account.

Pair this with the promo code for Pelops the Victor, and your progression team is almost complete before many players have even pulled their first useful Epic.

Each Champion fills a different role, but none of them feel isolated. Every new unlock strengthens the Champions you’ve already built.

King Gallcobar keeps everyone alive. Pelops the Victor becomes the front-line tank and crowd controller. Criodan the Blue speeds up your team and Freezes dangerous waves. Venomage transforms your Clan Boss and dungeon damage. Fahrakin the Fat adds one of the strongest Ally Attack abilities in the game, giving the whole roster another jump in damage once you begin tackling tougher bosses.

Most importantly, none of these Champions feel like temporary investments.

Every book, mastery, piece of gear, and six-star upgrade you place into this roster continues paying dividends well into the mid game and beyond.

CHAMPION SPOTLIGHTS

Strong individual Champions aren’t difficult to find in RAID anymore.

Every month, Plarium introduces more and more Champions capable of carrying one area of the game. Some dominate Arena. Others specialise in Clan Boss or Dungeon farming. What makes this starting lineup different is that every Champion improves the rest of the team.

Instead of collecting five powerful individuals, you’re building a roster where every new unlock strengthens the Champions you’ve already invested in. The result is a progression core that comfortably carries you through almost every piece of early and mid-game content without needing incredible luck from your Shard pulls.

Let’s take a closer look at why each Champion is so valuable.

king gallcobar portrait

King Gallcobar – The Champion That Solves Almost Everything

If there is one Champion that defines this entire account, it’s King Gallcobar. Most new accounts spend their first few weeks chasing roles rather than Champions. You need someone to heal your team. Then you realise you need a cleanser. Then you discover Dragon hits too hard, so you need more support. Clan Boss arrives and suddenly you need Poison damage. Arena introduces buff-heavy teams, so now you’re looking for someone who can strip buffs and stop them being replaced.

King Gallcobar quietly solves almost every one of those problems by himself. His kit combines healing, cleansing, Shielding, buff removal, Block Buffs, Poison placement and Poison activation into a single Champion. Few Legendaries offer this much utility, let alone one that every new player can guarantee.

What really stands out is how forgiving he is to build. Fresh accounts rarely have the luxury of stacking high Speed, Accuracy, HP and Defence all at once. Normally, that means sacrificing consistency until your gear improves. King Gallcobar gets around that problem beautifully. While protected by a Shield, his buff strip, Poisons and Block Buffs cannot be resisted, removing much of the Accuracy pressure that usually slows new accounts down.

His passive then rewards longer fights by activating Poison debuffs whenever enemies attack your team. Every turn the boss takes becomes another source of damage.

That’s why he feels so different from traditional progression Champions.

He doesn’t simply keep your team alive.

He turns surviving into your win condition.

Pelops the Victor Portrait

Pelops the Victor – The Hero Nobody Expected

It’s easy to assume Pelops the Victor is simply a nice bonus from the promo code. The reality is very different. Without him, this account is still excellent. With him, it becomes something genuinely special. Pelops the Victor fills the one role that King Gallcobar doesn’t naturally cover. He stands at the front of your team, absorbs pressure, controls enemies and slowly wears them down.

His Magma Shield forces enemies to focus their attacks into a Champion who actually wants to be hit. Every attack risks triggering HP Burn, Petrification and reflected damage through his passive, turning enemy aggression against them. That partnership creates one of the safest progression cores we’ve seen from guaranteed Champions. While Pelops the Victor keeps enemy attention locked onto himself, King Gallcobar keeps everyone healthy through constant healing, cleansing and Shields. The longer the fight lasts, the stronger the pairing becomes.

His value doesn’t stop there.

He brings HP Burn for bosses, Taunt for wave control, Stuns, buff theft, Increase ATK for your team and impressive damage through his A2, all while scaling comfortably from defensive stats that you already want to build on a fresh account.

Clan Boss is another area where he shines.

His immunity to Stun makes him an ideal target for the Clan Boss stun mechanic, allowing the rest of your team to continue cycling their skills uninterrupted.

If King Gallcobar is the engine behind this account, Pelops the Victor is the armour wrapped around it.

Venomage-Portrait

Venomage – The Champion That Pushes You Into Stage 20

Every progression account reaches a point where surviving is no longer enough. You still need damage. That’s where Venomage enters the picture.

Already regarded as one of RAID’s strongest Epic progression Champions, Venomage feels almost tailor-made for this roster.

He brings another source of Poison damage, Decrease DEF, a secondary Decrease ATK, Heal Reduction and one of the most underrated defensive passives in the game. Enemies affected by Heal Reduction deal 15% less damage to your team, which might not sound game-changing at first. In practice, it stacks beautifully alongside the healing, Shields and damage mitigation already provided by King Gallcobar and Pelops the Victor, making difficult boss encounters dramatically more forgiving.

His extra Poisons also feed directly into King Gallcobar’s passive, creating even more opportunities to activate Poison damage throughout longer fights.

It’s a partnership that naturally scales as your gear improves.

criodan the blue portrait

Criodan the Blue – Making Every Fight Safer

By the time you unlock Criodan the Blue, you’ll already have a durable team.

What you need next is control, and Criodan the Blue provides exactly that.

His Increase SPD buff and Turn Meter fill keep your entire roster cycling faster, allowing King Gallcobar to heal more often, Pelops the Victor to refresh his protection sooner, and Venomage to maintain his debuffs with ease. His Freeze abilities then remove dangerous enemies from the fight altogether, making difficult Dungeon waves far more manageable.

He isn’t there to carry the account by himself. He’s there to make everyone else stronger.

Fahrakin the Fat

Fahrakin the Fat – The Final Piece of the Puzzle

Many new player rewards lose their value as your account grows. Fahrakin the Fat does the opposite.

Although he arrives last, he gives this roster another layer of scaling through Ally Attack, Increase C.RATE, Increase C.DMG, HP Burn and additional Poison damage. Early on, he isn’t the highest priority for books or six-star upgrades.

That’s actually one of the strengths of this lineup. By the time you’re ready to invest heavily into Fahrakin the Fat, your core team is already capable of farming the gear, masteries and resources needed to build him properly.

Rather than replacing anyone, he slots naturally into a roster that’s already functioning. That’s a recurring theme throughout this entire starting lineup.

Every Champion arrives exactly when your account needs them.

Why Gallcobar and Pelops Are the Ultimate Progression Duo

The Strongest New Player Start RAID Has Ever Offered?

Great Champions can carry one area of RAID.

Great partnerships can carry an entire account.

That’s exactly what makes King Gallcobar and Pelops the Victor so exciting. Individually, they’re excellent Champions, but together they remove many of the barriers that normally slow a new account down. One protects your team through healing, cleansing and Shields, while the other protects it by becoming the target, controlling enemies and punishing anything that attacks him. Rather than competing for the same role, every part of their kits complements the other.

That creates something far more valuable than raw damage.

It creates consistency.

Consistency is one of the hardest things for a new account to achieve. Most early-game teams are capable of clearing difficult stages once or twice, but then fail the next few attempts because a key debuff was resisted, the healer died too early, or the boss simply took one turn too many. This partnership removes much of that inconsistency by giving your team answers to almost every situation.

Pelops the Victor actively wants enemies to attack him. His Magma Shield, Taunt and passive all reward enemy aggression, with every hit creating the chance to trigger HP Burn, Petrification and reflected damage. At the same time, King Gallcobar quietly keeps the rest of the team stable by removing dangerous debuffs, restoring health, refreshing Shields and stripping enemy buffs before they become a problem.

Even their damage works together. Pelops the Victor places HP Burn, while King Gallcobar floods enemies with Poisons. As those debuffs begin to stack, Pelops the Victor benefits from his damage scaling, while King Gallcobar’s passive repeatedly activates the Poisons every time enemies take their turns. The fight slowly snowballs, not because your Champions suddenly hit harder, but because every enemy turn becomes another opportunity for your team to deal damage.

That’s an incredibly powerful mechanic for progression. Fresh accounts rarely have enough offensive stats to burst bosses down in a handful of turns, so they win by surviving. This duo turns survivability into damage, allowing HP Burns, Poison activations and passive effects to do more work with every round of combat. Many progression teams eventually reach a point where they simply can’t survive any longer. This one reaches a point where the boss can’t survive any longer.

Another strength that’s easy to overlook is how forgiving both Champions are to build. New players don’t have access to perfect Speed sets, triple-roll accessories or six-star Legendary gear, so every build involves compromise. Fortunately, both Champions scale beautifully from the stats you’re already trying to collect. Prioritising HP, Speed and enough Accuracy to land your key debuffs is more than enough to begin clearing content that many new accounts wouldn’t attempt during their first week.

The partnership also rewards every upgrade you make. Another Legendary Book means more healing uptime, extra Speed keeps your Shields rotating more often, higher HP improves both survivability and damage, and additional Accuracy makes the whole strategy more consistent. Every improvement strengthens the team as a whole rather than just one Champion, which is one of the biggest reasons this combination scales so well throughout the early and mid game.

Once Venomage, Criodan the Blue and eventually Fahrakin the Fat join the roster, that synergy only becomes stronger. More Poisons feed King Gallcobar’s passive, more Turn Meter boosts mean more healing and Shields, and Ally Attacks create even more debuffs, Poison activations and overall damage. Everything begins feeding into everything else.

That’s why this doesn’t feel like five strong Champions.

It feels like one complete progression team.

For a brand-new account, that’s incredibly rare.

Campaign: 252 Nightmare Stars in Just Eight Days

12-7 Nightmare

Let’s start with the achievement that immediately caught our attention.

Every Campaign stage. Every difficulty. Every star.

Normal, Hard, Brutal and Nightmare. All 252 Campaign stars were completed within eight days using this progression core.

For experienced players, that might not sound extraordinary at first glance, but the context is what makes it remarkable. This wasn’t a mature account stacked with six-star Legendary gear, completed masteries, empowered Champions or months of farming behind it. It was a brand-new account progressing with whatever gear naturally dropped along the way, and that’s exactly why this result matters.

Campaign is one of the earliest indicators of how strong a fresh account really is. Every milestone unlocks resources that accelerate your progression, including Sacred Shards, Legendary Skill Tomes, Rank 5 Chickens, six-star Speed gear, Silver and Gems. The sooner you can claim those rewards, the sooner every other part of your account starts to snowball, and this combination reaches those milestones far earlier than most new accounts.

The partnership between King Gallcobar and Pelops the Victor feels almost tailor-made for two-Champion Campaign stages. Pelops the Victor happily stands at the front of every fight, absorbing pressure through Magma Shield while threatening enemies with HP Burn, Petrification and powerful reactive effects every time they attack him. Beside him, King Gallcobar quietly keeps everything under control by removing dangerous debuffs, restoring lost health, refreshing Shields and slowly overwhelming enemies with Poison damage.

That combination is incredibly effective in Nightmare Campaign, where many battles are decided by survivability rather than raw damage. Several of the later stages contain Champions capable of deleting fragile teams in a single turn, so many progression teams rely on killing those threats before they ever get the chance to attack.

This team takes a completely different approach.

It survives.

Enemy buffs disappear, debuffs are cleansed, Poisons continue ticking and HP Burns keep spreading until the enemy simply runs out of health. That’s the recurring theme throughout this entire account. It doesn’t win by overwhelming opponents with burst damage. It wins by turning every enemy turn into another opportunity to punish them.

One small adjustment makes an enormous difference once you unlock Team Presets at account Level 30. By default, King Gallcobar often holds his A3 until he wants to cleanse debuffs, even when your team would benefit far more from the healing and Shield. Setting that skill as a priority after his opening rotation, while allowing Pelops the Victor to open with Magma Shield, creates a much smoother rotation.

Instead of overlapping both defensive abilities at the start of every wave, the two Champions naturally alternate their protection throughout the fight. The difference is immediately noticeable, particularly in Nightmare Campaign where every turn counts and maintaining your defensive rotation often decides whether a run succeeds or fails.

Dungeons: Slow, Steady, and Far Ahead of the Curve

3x Dungeon Events

If there’s one word that sums up this team in Dungeons, it’s reliable.

That might not sound as exciting as a 30-second speed farm, but for a brand new account, reliability is far more valuable than raw speed. Most new players eventually hit a wall where their team clears a stage once, only to fail the next few attempts through an unlucky critical hit, a resisted debuff, or a key Champion dying at the wrong moment.

This team rarely has that problem.

Rather than relying on one Champion to carry every encounter, each member contributes something that keeps the run moving forward. Healing, Shields, crowd control, Poisons, HP Burn, damage reduction and Turn Meter boosts all work together to create a team that simply refuses to fall apart. The runs aren’t especially fast, but they’re consistent enough that you can start a batch of multi-battles, walk away, and come back to a full inventory of gear. For early progression, that’s exactly what you want.

Here’s how the team performs across each of the core dungeons.

Dragon’s Lair

Dragon is where this account really begins to shine. It’s the first major dungeon most players focus on, and for good reason. Speed, Lifesteal and Accuracy sets remain valuable throughout the game, making Dragon one of the best places to invest your energy during the opening weeks.

This team has almost everything Dragon asks for. Criodan the Blue controls the waves with Freeze while keeping your team cycling faster through Increase SPD and Turn Meter boosts. King Gallcobar strips dangerous buffs, keeps the team healthy and steadily stacks Poison damage onto the boss. Venomage adds even more Poisons alongside Decrease DEF, Decrease ATK and valuable passive damage reduction, while Pelops the Victor anchors the team by soaking damage and preventing runs from falling apart.

The result isn’t a speed farming machine, but that’s not the goal. Reaching Stage 20 Dragon during the opening week is an enormous milestone, giving every run the chance to reward gear that remains useful well into the mid game. Every upgrade feeds directly back into the rest of your progression.

Ice Golem’s Peak

If Dragon feels comfortable, Ice Golem almost feels tailor-made for this team. Many early-game accounts struggle with the boss’s retaliation mechanic after dealing too much direct damage at the wrong moment, but this roster naturally avoids that problem.

Instead of relying on huge burst damage, the team gradually wears the boss down through Poisons and HP Burn while the defensive core absorbs everything Ice Golem throws back. Venomage is particularly valuable here, with his passive reducing incoming damage and his debuffs speeding up every phase of the fight. Combine that with the constant healing, cleansing and Shields from King Gallcobar, and Stage 20 becomes a dependable farming location rather than an occasional clear.

The runs won’t impress anyone chasing speed records, but dependable farming is exactly what a fresh account needs.

Fire Knight’s Castle

Fire Knight is comfortably the toughest of the four main dungeons for this roster. The team doesn’t naturally bring a large number of multi-hit abilities, so breaking the shield takes longer and gives the boss more opportunities to heal.

Even here, though, the team has an interesting advantage. Once enough Poisons have been placed on the Fire Knight, King Gallcobar’s passive repeatedly activates them every time the boss takes a turn. Those Poison activations also chip away at the Fire Knight’s shield, creating a slower but surprisingly effective way of progressing through the fight.

Criodan the Blue also earns his place here by controlling the waves and helping your team cycle back to its key abilities more quickly. It isn’t the fastest Fire Knight strategy you’ll ever play, but it remains reliable enough to keep your account progressing until stronger multi-hit options arrive.

Spider’s Den

Spider is another dungeon where this roster succeeds by playing differently from most early-game teams. Rather than trying to burst the boss down before the Spiderlings overwhelm you, the safer option is to embrace a tank strategy built around Pelops the Victor.

Building him with high HP, solid Defence and enough Speed to maintain his protection allows him to absorb the Spiderlings’ attacks while the rest of the team gradually takes control of the encounter. King Gallcobar keeps him healthy through constant healing and Shields, Criodan the Blue controls the Spiderlings with Freeze to reduce incoming pressure, and Venomage adds damage reduction alongside a steady stream of Poison damage.

It’s another example of this roster solving encounters through survivability rather than brute force. The runs take longer than dedicated Spider speed teams, but they consistently get the job done.

The Bigger Picture

Looking at each dungeon individually only tells part of the story. Taken together, they highlight just how quickly this account moves through early progression.

Within the opening week, the team was comfortably farming Dragon 20 and Ice Golem 20, had pushed every Potion Keep to Stage 20, and already had the tools needed to continue climbing through Spider and Fire Knight. That’s the sort of progression many new accounts don’t reach for several weeks.

What’s even more impressive is that these milestones weren’t achieved with exceptional gear. Several Champions still needed books, masteries were unfinished, and some builds were little more than functional placeholders. The team succeeds because the Champions naturally cover one another’s weaknesses, and every better piece of gear simply makes an already reliable roster even stronger.

Clan Boss: A Team You Don’t Need to Summon

Clan-Boss

If there’s one piece of content that shapes the future of a RAID account more than any other, it’s Demon Lord Clan Boss.

Clan Boss isn’t just another daily activity. It’s your most reliable source of Ancient Shards, Void Shards, Sacred Shards, Epic and Legendary Skill Tomes, making it one of the biggest drivers of long-term account progression. The sooner you start earning the highest chests you can manage, the sooner your account begins to snowball.

That’s why experienced players place so much emphasis on Clan Boss during the opening weeks of a new account.

Normally, building an effective Clan Boss team comes down to luck. You hope to pull a strong Poisoner, a reliable Decrease ATK Champion, a healer, and enough defensive support to survive long enough for your debuffs to do meaningful damage.

This starting roster removes almost all of that uncertainty.

Without opening a single useful Shard, you’re already given the foundation of an outstanding Clan Boss team. King Gallcobar provides healing, Shields, cleansing and steady Poison damage throughout the fight, while Pelops the Victor brings HP Burn, extra protection and one mechanic that’s surprisingly valuable against Clan Boss.

He’s completely immune to Stun.

That simple line of text makes him an excellent stun target. Instead of your run falling apart every time the Clan Boss disables an important Champion, Pelops the Victor simply shrugs it off and continues cycling his skills. It doesn’t sound game-changing on paper, but over longer fights it has a noticeable impact on the team’s consistency.

Once Venomage joins the roster, everything begins to accelerate. His additional Poisons feed directly into King Gallcobar’s passive, creating even more Poison activations throughout the fight, while Decrease DEF, a backup Decrease ATK and his passive 15% damage reduction all improve both your survivability and overall damage output.

Against Clan Boss, surviving for just a few extra turns makes a huge difference. More turns mean more Warmaster procs, more HP Burn ticks, more Poison activations and, ultimately, far more damage.

By the time Fahrakin the Fat arrives at Level 30, the team receives another major jump in performance. His Ally Attack creates additional opportunities for every Champion to trigger Warmaster, refresh debuffs and apply more Poisons, while his own HP Burn and Poison effects fit naturally into the strategy the team is already using.

The result is a Clan Boss team that grows stronger every time another guaranteed Champion joins the account.

That progression became obvious during testing. Just over one week into the account, Brutal Clan Boss was already a comfortable two-key clear, with Nightmare not far behind. Even with unfinished masteries, average gear, incomplete books and two Champions that still needed major Speed improvements, the team was already dealing around nine million damage per key on Nightmare.

Perhaps the most exciting part is where the next improvements come from.

Nothing relies on pulling another game-changing Legendary. Better gear means more turns. More Speed means more healing, more Poisons and more Poison activations. Tier 6 masteries unlock Warmaster across the roster, while additional Epic Books reduce key cooldowns and improve skill uptime.

Every upgrade naturally increases your Clan Boss damage without forcing you to rebuild the team from scratch. Instead of replacing Champions every few weeks, you’re steadily improving a roster that’s already delivering excellent daily rewards. That’s exactly what you want from an early-game Clan Boss team, and it’s one of the biggest reasons this combination feels so future-proof.

One More Thing…

There’s another advantage that’s easy to overlook.

Every Champion you’re investing in for Clan Boss is already pulling their weight everywhere else. You aren’t six-starring a specialist who only sees play against one boss.

King Gallcobar is farming your dungeons, Pelops the Victor is carrying Campaign, Venomage is pushing Dragon and Ice Golem, and Fahrakin the Fat improves boss teams across the game.

Every Skill Tome, every six-star upgrade and every good piece of gear is doing double duty. For a new account where resources are limited, that’s one of the biggest strengths of this entire starting roster.

Arena: The Team Nobody Wants to Fight

Most early Arena teams follow the same formula. Win the Speed race, nuke the enemy, and move on before they have a chance to respond.

This team couldn’t care less about any of that.

Instead of trying to end fights in ten seconds, King Gallcobar and Pelops the Victor slowly take control of the battle until there’s very little the opposing team can do. It’s a completely different style of Arena, but it’s incredibly effective during the early game, particularly against the kinds of teams most new accounts encounter.

Buff-heavy teams lose their protection the moment King Gallcobar takes a turn, while debuff-focused teams quickly see their hard work undone through his cleanse. Even fast Arena teams often struggle to finish anyone once the constant stream of healing and Shields starts rolling.

Then there’s Pelops the Victor, who turns difficult fights into genuinely frustrating ones for your opponent. Magma Shield encourages enemies to focus their attacks on him, only to be punished by HP Burn, Petrification and reflected damage through his passive. His Taunt limits enemy options even further, while his A2 either delivers heavy damage or follows up with a two-turn Stun if the target survives. The longer the battle goes on, the more control your team gains.

Once Criodan the Blue joins the lineup, the pressure only increases. Increase SPD and Turn Meter boosts allow your team to cycle defensive abilities more quickly, while Freeze keeps dangerous threats locked down. By the time Venomage arrives, your opponents are dealing less damage, fighting through Decrease DEF, and slowly being worn down by an ever-growing stack of Poisons.

This isn’t an explosive Arena team.

It’s a relentless one.

One of the biggest surprises during testing wasn’t how often the team won, but how difficult it was to lose. Even fights that looked uncomfortable at the start often swung back in your favour after a few turns. Once the defensive engine started rolling, enemy teams found it incredibly difficult to recover.

That consistency translated directly into progression. Within the first couple of days, the account had already climbed into Gold Arena, and the climb continued comfortably from there. Ironically, the only genuinely awkward matchups were against other players running the exact same combination.

There is one trade-off.

This isn’t a farming team. If your goal is clearing Arena battles in fifteen seconds, you’ll eventually build something faster. That’s simply not what this roster is designed to do.

It’s designed to win.

For a new account, those wins are worth far more than saving an extra minute per battle. Every victory earns more Gold Medals, leading to faster Great Hall upgrades that improve every area of your account, from Dungeon farming and Clan Boss to future Arena battles. It’s another example of this roster accelerating progression in ways that aren’t immediately obvious.

How We’d Build This Account

One of the biggest mistakes new players make is trying to build every Champion at once.

This roster gives you that temptation.

Resist it.

Instead, focus on building a core that can carry everything else.

Our priority would look like this:

  1. King Gallcobar
  2. Pelops the Victor
  3. Criodan the Blue
  4. Venomage
  5. Fahrakin the Fat

King Gallcobar should receive your first six-star upgrade.

He farms Campaign, protects your team everywhere, and gains value from every extra point of HP and Speed through constant healing, Shields, cleansing and Poison damage.

Pelops the Victor follows immediately after. His ability to tank, control fights with Taunt, HP Burn, Petrification and Stun, and scale with defensive stats makes him the perfect second investment.

Once those two are established, Criodan the Blue brings another noticeable jump in consistency across Dungeon waves through Freeze, Increase SPD and Turn Meter boosts, and Venomage takes your boss damage to another level with Poisons, Decrease DEF, Decrease ATK and Heal Reduction.

Fahrakin the Fat is the luxury upgrade.

He’s excellent.

He just doesn’t need to be rushed.

By the time you’re ready to build him properly, the rest of your account will already be farming the gear and resources needed to get the most out of him. His Ally Attack, Increase C.RATE, Increase C.DMG, HP Burn and Poison effects become even stronger once the rest of the team is already established.

Gear priorities are refreshingly simple.

Speed comes first.

HP and Defence come next.

Accuracy should reach the level needed for the content you’re farming, but don’t sacrifice survivability chasing perfect debuff chances.

The beauty of this team is that it doesn’t rely on overwhelming stats.

It relies on taking more turns than the enemy and making every one of those turns count.

Why This Start Changes the First Month of Your Account

There have been plenty of excellent new player offers throughout RAID’s history. Some gave players an incredible Arena Champion, some accelerated Clan Boss progression, and others helped clear Campaign faster than ever before. Every one of them solved a specific problem.

This one solves almost all of them.

That’s the biggest difference.

Most starter combinations are built around one exceptional Champion, then ask you to rely on luck to fill the gaps. You still need a healer, crowd control, a Clan Boss team, reliable dungeon progression, and a few kind Ancient Shard pulls before your account really starts to come together.

This roster removes much of that uncertainty.

Before your account even reaches Level 30, you’ve already assembled a team capable of healing, cleansing, shielding, controlling waves, placing HP Burn, stacking Poisons, reducing incoming damage, increasing Turn Meter, boosting Speed, removing buffs, blocking buffs and launching Ally Attacks. Almost every major progression hurdle already has an answer, and that’s something we’ve rarely seen from a guaranteed starting roster.

It also changes the way you spend your resources.

Instead of chasing specific Champions through Shards, you can focus on improving the Champions you already know you’ll be using for weeks, if not months. Every Skill Tome feels like a worthwhile investment, every six-star upgrade has lasting value, and every strong piece of gear immediately has a place. Very little feels wasted, which is exactly what you want during the resource-starved opening weeks of a new account.

Perhaps the biggest compliment we can give this lineup is that it doesn’t feel like a collection of rewards.

It feels like someone sat down and asked a simple question.

“What would the ideal first month of a RAID account look like?”

The answer is this roster.

You begin with your progression engine in King Gallcobar. You add one of the strongest defensive partners in Pelops the Victor, followed by wave control through Criodan the Blue, boss damage from Venomage, and finally one of the game’s best Ally Attack Champions in Fahrakin the Fat. Each unlock arrives at almost exactly the point your account is ready to benefit from it, making progression feel smooth rather than dependent on lucky summons.

Looking back, that’s probably the biggest compliment we can give this offer.

It doesn’t simply give you powerful Champions.

It gives you a roadmap.

Final Verdict: Is This the Best New Player Start RAID Has Ever Offered?

We don’t make that claim lightly.

Over the years, RAID has released some outstanding new player offers, with Champions like Deacon Armstrong, Sun Wukong, Ninja and Narma the Returned all transforming the early game in different ways. Each of them excelled in a particular area, but none provided a complete progression roster quite like this.

After testing this combination across every major area of the game, it’s difficult to find a genuine weakness. Together, King Gallcobar, Pelops the Victor, Criodan the Blue, Venomage and Fahrakin the Fat carried a fresh account to all 252 Campaign stars, including Nightmare, Stage 20 Dragon and Ice Golem, Gold Arena, Stage 20 Potion Keeps, and comfortable Brutal Clan Boss progression, all without perfect gear, finished masteries or fully booked Champions.

That’s what makes this offer feel different. It doesn’t ask you to pull the missing pieces from Shards. It gives you a complete progression core from the moment you create your account, letting you focus on improving your roster instead of fixing it.

Can stronger teams be built later? Absolutely. That’s part of RAID. But if the goal is reaching the mid game as quickly and as smoothly as possible, we believe this is the strongest new player start the game has ever offered.

Create your new account with King Gallcobar here, claim Pelops the Victor with the active promo code, and experience what we believe is the best progression start in RAID: Shadow Legends.

Can you think of a stronger start combination available? Let us know!

Hi. I created a new account but never received King Gallcobar. When is the tutorial considered “over”?

Hmm, I have rolled over 20 alt accounts and, for whatever reason, the link provided at the bottom of the article isn’t generating the champs on a new account.

Update. I DID receive King, but after about reaching lvl 15 (more or less). It either take a couple of hours for the server to give the hero or it is conditioned by another task linked to tutorial (more like game progression) or character development.
