Watcher of Realms x Assassin’s Creed Collaboration
The Brotherhood is preparing to enter Tya as Watcher of Realms officially joins forces with Assassin’s Creed for a major new collaboration.
Headlining the crossover is the legendary Master Assassin Ezio Auditore, who will lead a new lineup of Assassin’s Creed heroes into Watcher of Realms. Alongside the new characters, players will be able to enter a special event named Echoes of the Creed, battle three formidable bosses and face what has been described as the ultimate trial in Tya.
The Watcher of Realms x Assassin’s Creed collaboration begins on August 20, but the first announcements have already given us plenty to discuss.
The Creed Arrives in Tya
The collaboration appears to revolve around an unstable rift connecting the worlds of Watcher of Realms and Assassin’s Creed.
At the height of Tya’s tide, a sudden surge of power opens the rift and creates a mirror-like realm. Historical fragments from Assassin’s Creed are then drawn through this opening, where they become twisted and reshaped. Mysterious figures begin crossing between the worlds as new threats quietly emerge.
It is a fitting way to bring Assassin’s Creed into the fantasy setting of Watcher of Realms. Rather than simply dropping the characters into Tya without explanation, the developers are using the rift to blend locations, enemies and historical influences from both franchises.
The official promotional artwork reflects this contrast perfectly. One side is filled with the dark rooftops and hidden figures traditionally associated with the Assassins, while the other showcases the more fantastical heroes, creatures and architecture of Tya.
Ezio Auditore Leads the Collaboration

No Assassin’s Creed crossover would feel complete without Ezio Auditore.
The legendary Assassin has been officially revealed as the leading hero of the collaboration, complete with his iconic white and red robes, hidden blades and unmistakable hood. His Watcher of Realms model remains extremely faithful to his classic appearance while adding enough detail to fit naturally alongside the game’s existing Legendary heroes.
Early hero information describes Ezio as a Tactician belonging to the Supreme Arbiters and Watchguard factions. He is expected to specialise in single-target Physical Damage, DEF Ignore and displacement.
That could make him particularly valuable against dangerous elite enemies that become increasingly difficult to control or eliminate during the later stages of a battle. His Tactician classification also opens the door for movement-based gameplay, allowing Ezio to recreate the speed and positioning associated with an Assassin.
However, his complete abilities, Awakening bonuses and summoning arrangements have not yet been officially detailed.
Kassandra, Eivor and Bayek Join the Lineup
Ezio will not be entering Tya alone.
Images shared appears to show four other additional Assassin’s Creed heroes. Kassandra, Eivor and Bayek are clear, the 4th remains a bit of a mystery.
Kassandra is described as a Fighter from the Supreme Arbiters and Watchguard factions. Her tags include single-target Physical Damage, DEF Ignore, multi-strike attacks and strong crowd control. She also introduces a new mechanic connected to Rage Regeneration Efficiency, turning a normally supportive stat into a direct source of damage.
Eivor is another Fighter, belonging to Watchguard and the North Throne. There tags are single-target Physical Damage, DEF Ignore, offensive dispelling and ally protection. Preview footage also appears to show attacks bouncing across distant targets, potentially allowing them to influence multiple lanes despite being primarily focused on single-target combat.
Bayek completes the currently known lineup as an AoE Marksman from the Star Piercers and Nightmare Council factions. He is designed as an anti-air damage dealer who has his pet eagle! His gameplay is set to revolve around a new bullet mechanic.
Echoes of the Creed Introduces Three Bosses
The heroes are only one part of this collaboration.
Players will also enter Echoes of the Creed, a special event featuring three formidable bosses. Very little has been revealed about these encounters, but the crossover artwork offers a few possible clues. It prominently features Egyptian, Greek and Norse-inspired elements, matching the worlds associated with Bayek, Kassandra and Eivor. This could mean that each boss or event area draws inspiration from a different Assassin’s Creed setting.
That remains speculation for now, but a multi-stage event built around several historical regions would be an excellent way to showcase the full collaboration rather than focusing entirely on Ezio.
Final Thoughts
Watcher of Realms has gone big with its Assassin’s Creed collaboration. Ezio Auditore is the perfect hero to headline the crossover, while Kassandra, Eivor and Bayek provide a varied lineup covering Tactician, Fighter and Marksman roles.
Echoes of the Creed, its three boss encounters and the mysterious rift connecting both worlds could make this far more than a simple collection of limited heroes. There are still plenty of unanswered questions, particularly around the characters’ complete kits and summoning banners, but the foundations are certainly promising.
