Zenless Zone Zero Patch 1.1 Livestream Highlights

The official livestream for patch 1.1, “Undercover R&B”, of Zenless Zone Zero has just ended and in this article we are providing a summary of the top highlights you need to know about!

A new promo code UNDERCOVERRNB (300 Polychrome, 30,000 Dennies, 2 Senior Investigator Logs, and 3 W-Engine Energy Modules) was released during the livestream. It is only valid until August 4, 23:59:59 (UTC+8) so act fast!

Two events which are confirmed to be returning for Patch 1.1 are the All-New Program and “En-Nah” Into Your Lap, which will give out 10 Encrypted Master Tapes and 10 Boopons for free respectively.

The all-new special episode, “Undercover R&B”, will focus on the story of Jane Doe as the main story of this patch, even letting players explore some areas of New Eridu, such as Sixth Street, while playing as Jane Doe. 

“The Case of a Missing Bangboo” will be a new agent story for Qingyi.

Endgame modes Shiyu Defense and Hollow Zero will also be expanded with new version, in particular “Inferno Reap” in Hollow Zero will let players totally bypass the TV gameplay when doing their weekly missions and jump directly to the final boss.

Qingyi has been confirmed as an S-rank Electric Stun agent coming in the first half of patch 1.1. With high daze, decent damage, and the ability to increase the stun damage multiplier, Qingyi will be an incredibly powerful agent and will be the best stun agent at her launch for every team except the Ice team with Lycaon. 

Qingyi’s best teammates will be Zhu Yuan and Nicole, but she will be flexible to work with any team. 

Billy and Corin are the two A-rank agents boosted on her Exclusive Channel. These are weak options since they are both physical attack agents, and you would only build one of them and they compete with S-rank damage dealers who are stronger than they are. Corin is better overall and synergises well with the big stun burst windows that Qingyi sets up. 

A W-Engine exclusive channel will also run at the same time with Ice-Jade Teapot (Qingyi’s Signature S-rank W-engine), Starlight Engine Replica (A-rank) and Housekeeper (A-rank).

Jane Doe has been confirmed as Physical Anomaly agent coming in the second half of patch 1.1. She will have a fast-paced playstyle with a lot of area attacks, letting her rip through multiple enemies at a time with ease. She will be a significant upgrade to Piper teams and will be strong in Disorder teams with future Anomaly agents. 

Jane Doe’s best teammates will be Grace and Seth or Rina. 

Seth and Anby are the two A-rank agents boosted on Jane Doe’s exclusive channel. These are strong options at this early stage of the game: Anby works as a great beginner stun option for one of your two teams for Shiyu Defense and Seth is a brand-new agent! Seth is an Electric Defense agent and should combo well with Jane Doe. If enemy damage continues to increase as the game moves forward, Defense agents could become particularly important to have for your teams. 

A W-Engine exclusive channel will also run at the same time with “Sharpened Stinger” (Jane Doe’s Signature S-rank W-engine), “Peacekeeper – Specialized” (A-rank) and Demara Battery Mark II (A-rank).

Officer Cui, an S-rank Banbgoo for the NEPS faction will arrive in patch 1.1. He will be the perfect teammate for Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, Jane Doe and Seth.
