Levelling can often feel slow, grindy, or even overwhelming. King Arthur: Legends Rise is no exception, presenting a rich yet complex progression system. This system involves not only upgrading your Heroes using the traditional methods (levelling, starring, and awakening) but also enhancing Relics. These Relics come with their own levels, awakenings, and connected skills that significantly influence your Hero’s playstyle.

• Burning Land (Dungeon):

• Story Mode and Adventure Stages:
  While these provide smaller amounts of potions, they are a supplementary source.

• Arena Shops:
  Experience Potions can also be purchased here, though you may want to prioritise using Honour Tokens for better resources.

Once your Hero reaches the cap for their star rating, advancing them to the next set of levels requires two key resources: Mana Orbs and Fairy Stones.

• Mana Orbs:
  Farmed in the Plain of the Beast by defeating Penveid, a giant boar capable of shielding itself. Higher dungeon stages yield rarer Orbs, essential for advancing Heroes beyond 5 stars. The Mage Tower in your estate can also passively gather Mana and allow you to synthesise higher-grade Orbs, though this can be gold-intensive.

Awakening is a vital step for Hero growth, with adding purple stars to your Heroes you will boost their stats significantly.
Each Hero belongs to one of six Favors:

• Stag, Crow, Hound, Serpent, Steed, or Bull.

Each Favor has distinct characteristics and requires farming-specific materials for awakening:

• Favor Statues: Farm these in the Favor Dungeons corresponding to each animal. They will be available on daily rotation allowing you to focus on one party at the time, as you will have to bring Heroes aligned with the specific Favor.

From the third Awakening onward, you will also need Pedestals, which can be farmed in the Forbidden Dungeon. This dungeon features a 60-level tower, with difficulty and rewards increasing as you ascend, 5 tokens will be available daily with instant autoclear on stages already defeated, so better not miss out on this farm.
Pedestals can also be purchased weekly in the Clan Shop, so staying active in your clan is crucial.

In King Arthur, only passive skills are directly tied to the Heroes. Active skills, on the other hand, are determined by the Relic equipped. To enhance passive skills, you’ll need two resources: Talismans and Brooches.

• Talismans:
  Earned in the Master of Death Dungeon, this resource is distributed randomly among Favours. This dungeon is challenging and only allows five daily tokens, which must be balanced between Hero and Relic Skill levelling.
• Brooches:
  Farmable in Hard and Hell storylines, Brooches are linked to Hero roles (Attack, Defense, Control, or Support). Drops, once again, might be random, so farming them can be stamina-intensive.

Relics, much like Heroes, must be levelled and advanced in increments of 10. To do this, you’ll need Relic Breath and Star Seeds. These can be obtained in their dedicated dungeon by defeating Aldri in the Frozen Plains. Aldri is a mythical creature with healing abilities, making him a formidable opponent.

The Mage Tower also allows you to collect passively and/or synthesise higher-rarity Star Seeds for a steep cost. Use this option sparingly to avoid gold drainage.

Relics can also be awakened, adding purple stars to amplify their power. This requires Awakening Stones of different rarity, which are obtained by defeating Tarrasque in the Shrine of Storms. Relic awakening provides a massive boost to your Hero’s effectiveness but requires strategic investment. Be mindful of which Relics you upgrade, as the system does not currently allow resetting Relic upgrades.

Relics define a Hero’s active skills, as each Hero has three Relics corresponding to the three affinities: Flame, Ice, and Wind. Each Relic significantly impacts a Hero’s abilities, including their damage, buffs, and debuffs. Since Relic upgrades cannot be undone, research carefully before committing resources.

Each Relic has three active skills:

• S1, S2, and S3, requiring 1, 2, and 3 units of Vigor respectively. Managing Vigor consumption is critical in battles to maximise your ability to win.

To level Relic skills, you’ll need Tomes and Whetstones:

• Tomes: Farmable in the Master of Apocalypse Dungeon, currently considered the toughest dungeon in the game.
• Whetstones: Found in Hard and Hell storylines.

  Resources like stamina and dungeon tokens are limited. Focus on one goal at a time and be efficient with stamina allocation for your current needs.
