Before tackling this boss, it’s smart to focus your resources on one strong damage dealer rather than spreading upgrades across your whole roster. By pouring your resources into a single hero, you’ll have someone who can deal heavy damage when it counts.

For many players, Kay is an excellent choice due to her high damage output and levelling her up by farming XP dungeons can give you a huge advantage. Having said that, if you prefer another damage dealer you should prioritize them instead. The goal is to have at least one hero who can carry your team through tough times.

For those of you who are fortunate enough to have the Legendary Hero, Guinevere, this boss will become significantly easier for you due to her passive skill which grants 20 turns of Abnormal Status Immunity at the start of battle; this will prevent ANYBODY in your team other than herself being devoured.

Using Guinevere in your team can make this boss an absolute joke, but we will not base the guide around this as many players won’t have her.

On the flip side, if a damage dealer gets taken, your support heroes can help sustain the team until they’re freed.
Be Ready to Deal with RNG.

This boss fight can be a bit unpredictable. Sometimes, the boss will devour your most important characters at the worst possible moments. If that happens, don’t hesitate to restart the battle and try again. A little patience goes a long way here.
