Dragonheir Ultimate Beginner Guide

If you're diving into Dragonheir: Silent Gods, you're in for an epic adventure packed with strategy, exploration, and some seriously cool heroes. But let's be honest, starting a new game can feel overwhelming. Where should you start? What should you prioritize? And most importantly, how can you avoid common pitfalls? Don't worry, we've got you covered with the ultimate beginner guide to set you up for success!

Choosing Your Server: Play with the Community

First things first: servers! Due to a chaotic launch, some servers filled up fast. If you're a veteran player and you want to play with your friends who are already on a server, you can use the special alliance invitation code to access that server. Pro tip: Servers will merge in the next season, so planning ahead could pay off! For example 1 with 2, 3 with 4 etc…

Claim Your Freebies and Rewards

Before you get lost in the game, claim your free rewards! Use the your favorite creators code (cough HELLHADES) to unlock extra goodies and giveaways as the community hits milestones. If you encounter issues linking your account for rewards, try switching browsers or devices. It's a known bug with a simple workaround.

Veteran players, make sure to claim your legacy characters and resources by clicking on the orc icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Characters from Seasons 2 and 3 will unlock progressively as the game evolves

Summoning Strategy: Don't Waste Your Rolls!

exclusive banner

One of the most exciting parts of Dragonheir is summoning new heroes. Here's the deal: your first 20 summons on the initial banner will guarantee a legendary hero. After that, aim to do your first 300 summons on the event banner that's active for only 5 days and 15 hours from your start. This guarantees you an exclusive legendary, a huge power spike early on!

What about the prophecy code? Hold off on that for now! You have 30 days to use it. We recommend checking your prophecy code AFTER your first 300 summons. If the prophecy code offers a valuable exclusive and multiple legendaries, go for it. Otherwise, save your summons for future banners.

Additionally, there are packs available for gems where you can handpick legendaries or focus on specific elemental affinities. If you're tempted, just ensure you weigh the gem costs carefully.

Progression Priorities: What to Do in Your First Days

Here's your daily to-do list to maximize progression:

  • Adventure Mode: Push your storyline progression until it caps. You'll hit a level cap around level 35 on Day 1, but keep grinding to increase your account level.
  • Goblin Dungeon: Focus on farming the Goblin Dungeon. You can't push past Stage 6 in the first five days, but maximizing your resonance level by farming here is crucial for boosting gear slots, artifact levels, and overall power.
  • Artifact Prioritization: When using duplicate characters (dupes), your priority should be purchasing artifacts, not boosting exclusives right away.

Recommended first artifacts:

  • Witch's Remain: Applies AoE Defense Down.
  • Rift Hourglass: Increases your team's speed.
  • Downpipe Organ / Solar King's Horn: Both boost damage significantly.

Worried about wasting dupes? Don't be! You can reset inspiration levels and retrieve your dupes for artifact purchases. It's a forgiving system that lets you correct mistakes.

Gear and Levels:

  • At level 40, you unlock more gear slots.
  • At level 60, runes become available.
  • At level 80, additional upgrades unlock.

Flat stats on gear currently outperform percentage stats at lower levels, so equip accordingly until your resonance level makes percentage stats more valuable.

Daily Stamina Refresh: Spend gems on stamina refills. You get two daily refreshes at 150 gems each. This is essential for maintaining progress, especially in the first month or two.

Team Building: Elements and Strategies

What teams should you build? Start by experimenting with all your characters. The resonance system ensures all heroes level up with your account, so you're free to try different compositions.

Here's a quick guide:

  • Frost & Necrosis Summoners: Best for Goblin Dungeon and PvP due to AoE damage.
  • Dauntless (Lightning): Strong single-target damage.
  • Fire Element: Dominates in the Temporal Vortex.

You can mix frost, necro, fire, and poison elements based on your summons. For example, pairing Dane (a strong fire character) with Sigrid (a rare-tier beast) can demolish goblin stages effectively.

Remember: You can swap gear freely and test teams without cost, so experiment away!

Bonus Tips for Early Game Success

  • Complete Tower Defense Events: Scattered across the map, these offer solid rewards.
  • Open Every Chest: Exploration yields valuable resources.
  • Participate in Seasonal Events: Like the free Monkey King event for extra summons and a legendary reward.
  • Return to Improve Scores: Don't settle for weak scores in the Temporal Vortex. Return with better teams and crush the rankings.

Final Thoughts: Play Smart, Play Fun!

Dragonheir: Silent Gods is a marathon, not a sprint. Follow these tips to avoid early mistakes, optimize your resources, and set yourself up for long-term success.
