Brand New 1-Piece Sets – Dragonheir: Silent Gods

In this article we’re going to be diving into the brand-new type of equipment that has arrived with Season 3 of Dragonheir: Silent Gods, 1-piece sets.

The introduction of 1-Piece Sets is huge, what an amazing thing for the developers to add to the game as in most situations, 1 slot was always wasted for a stand-alone item based purely on stats, due to the traditional sets having a maximum of a 3-piece bonus.

If you’re interested in which traditional equipment sets are coming in Season 3, check out our dedicated article below.

How to acquire 1-piece sets:

Earning these 1-piece Sets is just the same as regular equipment, however, they only drop from stage 9 and appear to have a relatively low chance of dropping.

These items cannot be forged either, so the only chance you’re going to get them is by farming each of the required bosses; Grave of Venom, Curse, and Rot.

Strike of the Unprepared:

1-piece Effect: The wearer deals 35% increased damage to enemies with Defense Penalty.

This feels too good to be true, the huge boost in damage this item will bring is extraordinary, on top of any of 3-piece set bonuses that you will be able to combine it with, you are going to see a huge amount of burst damage during Defense Penalty windows. This will make timing your damage x Defense Penalty skills to line up perfectly all the more vital for maximum benefit.

This is likely the go-to for nearly all damage dealers.

Chaos Symbiosis:

1-piece Effect: The wearer enjoys 35% increased Ultimate Up and Damage Bonus effects, but has a 50% decreased Recharging Speed.

This piece of equipment is incredibly interesting, on one hand you gain a huge amount of potential with Increased Ultimate Up and Damage bonuses, however, reducing your recharging speed is also pretty serious, but if you are in the position where you have a damage dealer who is either able to solo-boost their Ultimate Energy, or they are getting boosted externally, whilst also receiving Damage Bonus effect, well, this will be INSANE in that case; as an example, Aschetius boosts his own Ultimate Energy very frequently with his passive, so this item for him could be gamechanging.

On another note however, this will make skill timings a little bit more awkward to predict!

Death Record:

1-piece Effect: When any hero dies in the Grand Gladiator Arena, the wearer can obtain 15% of their Attack. The upper limit of additional Attack obtained is 300% of the wearer’s Attack.

This item could be incredibly strong for everyone’s least favourite opponent in arena, heroes who jump to your back line and 1 shot them… Questa, we’re looking at you here, On paper, this would see a huge boost in damage as time goes by, for each target you pick off, your attack will just skyrocket, eventually allowing you to take on the enemy tank with a large stat bonus allowing you to kill them off quickly.

Further testing will be needed to say for sure, but I feel this item will be very fun!

Magic Crystal Refinement:

1-piece Effect: The wearer obtains 15 Attack additionally for every 1 Skill Haste they posses.

This could be particularly strong on heroes that you are pushing a large amount of skill haste on, whilst also requiring attack, whether that be for extra damage, or potentially for healing, a hero that I can see benefiting incredibly well from this item, is Zhar’loth, he gains both damage AND healing from his attack, however, you want him running very fast with lots of skill haste to get more uptime on his healing and control effects. This way you can index into a lot more skill haste whilst still gaining a huge amount of attack – let’s say for example you manage to push up to 140 Skill Haste (Rift Hourglass artifact + 2x +20 Skill Haste Sets) – That is a huge 2,100 attack boost!

Monelisse’s Blessing:

1-piece Effect: There is a 50% chance for the wearer to grant 50% increased healing and shield effects.

This item will be absolutely incredible on any healer or shielder, with a 50% chance to boost the output they are doing, who can say no to that? Must-have, especially if you are only using a solo-healer for the content you’re facing.

Impregnable:

1-piece Effect: When the wearer grants a buff, there is a 50% chance for the buff to be undispellable.

There are a few niche situations where this set could potentially be valuable, however, in my opinion it is one of the weaker ones, when we’ve seen exactly what all of the bosses in Season 3 do, you may find value in using this item on a boss that steals buffs, or removes your buffs (such as the new Fey Meander boss) but it’s hard to say for sure if it will be worth sacrificing the spot for the small chance.

Iron Bastion:

1-piece Effect: The wearer is immune to Stun when being inflicted with one. But every second of Stun reduces the wearer’s ultimate energy by 6%.

This is another set bonus that is somewhat niche, it could be incredibly valuable however for stages of Fey Meander and Pillar of Trials where you are facing enemies such as Iola or Tamar, or even both, where you are going to be facing a huge amount of incoming stuns, however, outside of Heroes who directly stun, you don’t have to worry about stun sets in Season 3, so it will be a niche-pick in the Arena when facing certain teams!

Mark of Austerity:

1-piece Effect: 20% of the damage dealt by the wearer will be converted to healing when their HP is below 50%. AOE Damage can only trigger 30% of this effect.

This item will be INCREDIBLY cool for Tanks, with the potential option to build your Tanks out to deal more damage with the sacrifice of defensive stats due to the constant passive healing this set bonus will bring.

I am personally very excited to give this set a try!

Echoes of the Ancestor Spirit:

1-piece Effect: The wearer dispels 1 debuff from themselves when they cast their ultimate skill.

This is one of the least exciting items in my personal opinion, and I don’t see it getting a huge amount of use outside of fights where you have a tank who takes a high amount of solo-debuffs, the reason for this is quite simple, if you are against a fight where your whole team is taking a lot of debuffs, you will need to bring a cleanser, which would make this set bonus completely irrelevant, as the debuffs will be managed accordingly already.

This being said, I have not had chance yet to test all of the Season 3 Content, so there may well be a time and place to gain a lot of value from this bonus, time will tell!

Fish in Troubled Waters:

1-piece Effect: The wearer has an additional 50% chance of dispelling 1 buff from the target when inflicting debuffs.

This item could be incredibly strong in fights like Grave of Curse, or Ancient Battlefield, where dispelling the damage boosts from the bosses are incredibly important, bringing a buff dispeller or buff-prohibition hero to these fights is near on essential, however, this could remove the need for that, freeing up a spot for either an extra damage dealer OR an additional support.

Especially strong for multi-debuff heroes!
