Free-to-Play Progression Guide in Dragonheir: Silent Gods

Progressing as a free-to-play (F2P) player in Dragonheir: Silent Gods can feel overwhelming at first. With limited resources, tempting banners, and events constantly rolling in, it’s easy to make mistakes that stall your account. The good news? With careful planning and smart resource management, you can push your account to incredible heights without spending a penny.

In this guide, we’ll walk you through key tips, lessons learned, and strategies for free-to-play success—drawing on my own progression, mistakes, and big decisions that pushed my account to the next level.

Mastering Event Progression

Events in Dragonheir: Silent Gods are a goldmine for free-to-play players. Let’s break down how to maximize them:

Dungeons & Dragons Event

This event was massive for F2P players. By completing daily demon hunts and boss challenges, you could rack up:

  • 1,260 gems
  • 210 blades
  • Plus rewards like Drizzt and his exclusive artifact

The key takeaway? You can achieve everything without premium investment—but only if you stay disciplined and consistent. Many players are tempted to spend gems recklessly on dice rolls, but that often leads to stalled progression later. Patience here equals power later.

Imperial Shadow Recast

Another event that rewards smart planning. By targeting the four weakest bosses on my server—Thelendor, Vasska, Vinyara, and Khrysos—we managed a Top 100 finish on a free-to-play account.

The biggest trick? Always activate your Shadow Challenges. Select the dungeons you need most (gear, talents, or resources), and enjoy double drops every day. This is how you prepare your team for tougher content and squeeze every ounce of value from your stamina.

Piece of Treasury Event

Gear can make or break your account. During this event, we secured a god-roll piece for my Nastjenka, boosting my damage output significantly.

Pro tip:
Never waste currency in the exchange shop. Always prioritize upgrading and tampering your treasury piece. And remember—you can reset three times to reroll stats if you’re not satisfied.

Resource Management: The Heart of F2P

If you want to thrive without spending, resource management is your lifeline. Here’s how we handled ours:

  • Gems: We saved up over 5,000 gems in about a week by combining event rewards, Temporal Vortex farming, and careful planning.
  • Summons: In the first month alone, we managed almost 600 summons—completely free-to-play. This included exclusive banners, purple quests, story progression, and event rewards.
  • Shops: Always buy Helight Dice and scrolls first. In Alliance shops, prioritize Essence of Creation to power up your artifacts. In Treasury, never waste on old packs—focus on permanent upgrades like mythical gear.

It’s tempting to pull on every banner, but that’s a trap. Have a clear plan: either save for a specific exclusive or wait until you see how your pulls shape your roster.

Our Biggest Mistakes (So You Don’t Repeat Them)

Free-to-play is a learning curve, and I’ve made my share of mistakes:

  • Skipping Realmwide Arena – Missing a week of this cost us two Master Scrolls. Always do your PvP dailies, even if you’re not competitive yet.
  • Summoning on the Wrong Banner – Yep, we accidentally blew dice on a regular banner when aiming for exclusives. Always double-check the pool before committing.
  • Spreading Resources Too Thin – Early on, we opened dice across multiple banners without hitting mercy, costing us progression. Stick to your plan.

Learn from us: stay disciplined, double-check everything, and never rush just for the dopamine hit of a summon.

The Big Decision: Picking Premtsa

One of the toughest choices we faced was spending 5,000 gems on the Gift of the First Encounter Chest. Inside were tempting picks like Tharivol for Dauntless or Premtsa for Summoners.

After weighing the account’s weaknesses, I went with Premtsa—a game-changer for the Necro team, PvP, and continental bosses. Fully scrolled, she gave the account the boost it desperately needed.

This is a lesson in making decisions for the long-term impact on your account. Don’t just chase the “cool” hero—pick what plugs the gaps in your roster.

Summoning Luck and the Search for Supports

While hunting for Frurbath or Brody, I managed to pull Brody (twice!)—a blessing for my Wild team since he strips shields from Vinyara. I also got Nathaniel, a fantastic healer/shielder for lightning or rally setups.

Even though I summoned on the wrong banner, the pulls still turned out to be progression-changing. That’s the beauty of Dragonheir—you never know when the right hero will show up and unlock a strategy you’ve been struggling with.

Final Thoughts: F2P Is About Discipline

At the end of the day, free-to-play progression in Dragonheir: Silent Gods boils down to discipline. Events and rewards are plentiful—you can easily net 650+ summons in your first month if you play smart. But if you waste gems, forget game modes, or chase every shiny banner, you’ll stall hard.

Here’s what to remember:

  • Prioritize gems and scrolls in shops.
  • Always hit your arenas and events.
  • Pick heroes that boost progression, not just hype.
  • Save for banners and plan around mercy.

I made mistakes, but every slip was a lesson. And that’s what makes free-to-play progression so rewarding—you earn every step forward.
