Grave of Curse Guide
The Grave of Curse is one of the most punishing dungeons in Dragonheir: Silent Gods. The boss, Blood Prince Xenos, specialises in HP drain and Max HP reduction, meaning the longer the fight drags on, the weaker your team becomes. On top of that, he cycles through powerful buffs, shields, and debuffs that punish teams without proper countermeasures. To succeed, you’ll need to bring shield providers, buff control, and damage mitigation tools while carefully managing your timing.
Boss Mechanics
Passive – Blood Gush (★★★★★ Priority)
- Every time the boss deals HP damage, he steals HP and reduces the target’s Max HP.
- This creates constant survival pressure as your team’s Max HP shrinks over time.
Counterplay:
- Bring AOE shield providers like Adolphus, Felosia, or Khrysos to absorb the boss’s HP drain.
- Shields prevent the permanent Max HP loss and keep your team stable during extended fights.
Rage of Blood (★★★★ Priority)
- Grants the boss a massive damage-boosting buff, making his next attacks devastating.
Counterplay:
- Deploy heroes with Buff Dispel or Buff Prohibition immediately (e.g., Grover, Eurion, Shook).
- If left unchecked, this buff can lead to unavoidable wipes in just a few attacks.
Vampiric Shield (★★★ Priority)
- Deals high single-target damage and converts that damage into a protective shield.
- The longer it’s up, the harder it becomes to bring the boss down.
Counterplay:
- Use heroes that can dispel shields such as Shook, Eurion, and Khrysos.
- Apply Attack Penalty/Damage Reduction debuffs to reduce incoming damage and limit shield size.
Punishment of Blood (★★★★ Priority)
- Dispels 1 buff from every hero, then attacks.
- Deals extra damage to targets without buffs. At higher difficulties, this can one-shot unbuffed heroes.

Strategy
Sustain Through HP Loss
The biggest challenge is managing Max HP reduction. Without AOE shields, your team will crumble in long fights. Prioritize shield heroes who can consistently block HP drain.
Control the Boss’s Buffs
The boss’s self-buffs (Rage of Blood and Vampiric Shield) are deadly if not addressed. Time your Dispel/Prohibition abilities right after he casts them.
Survive Punishment of Blood at Difficulty 9+
This skill is devastating when your heroes lack buffs. At high levels, ensure you rotate team-wide buff support so that no hero is left unprotected.
Balance Offense and Defense
While survival tools are essential, don’t neglect damage. The longer the fight lasts, the harder it gets due to Blood Gush. Bring at least one high-damage dealer to shorten the encounter.
Team Recommendation 1

Team 1 – Shielded Balance
Lineup: Garius, Altair, Nathaniel, Grover, Iola
- Iola & Nathaniel – Time their ultimates before the boss’s big attacks for Attack Penalty and AOE shields.
- Garius & Nathaniel – Provide AOE healing to quickly recover HP loss.
- Grover – Dispels buffs perfectly after Rage of Blood, clearing two at once.
- Altair – Brings strong DPS pressure to help shorten the fight.
Playstyle:
Rotate Iola’s ATK Down and Grover’s dispel carefully.
If shields drop, Garius and Nathaniel will stabilise the team.
Keep the fight tempo high to prevent Max HP loss from snowballing.
Team Recommendation 2

Team 2 – Heavy Protection
Lineup: Premtsa, Eurion, Torrin, Vinyara, Felosia
- Felosia – Core protector, providing AOE shields, Defense Up, and Damage Reduction.
- Vinyara – Strips enemy buffs, keeping the boss from running wild.
- Premtsa – High standalone damage, ensuring you don’t stall the fight.
- Torrin – Additional healing and support to sustain your team.
- Eurion – Tanky frontline with sustain.
Playstyle:
Keep Felosia’s shields and buffs active at all times.
Use Vinyara and Eurion to dispel both the boss’s offensive buffs and defensive shields.
Premtsa ensures you maintain high DPS without sacrificing survival.
Closing Thoughts
Timing is Everything: Save your dispel skills for Rage of Blood and Vampiric Shield, and your buff skills for Punishment of Blood.
Don’t Overcommit Too Early: Using all your defensive skills at once may leave you exposed later in the rotation.
Adapt to Difficulty Scaling: At higher levels, mechanics hit harder. Bring redundancy in shielding and buffing to avoid wipes.
Elemental Synergy: Choose a tank/healer that matches elemental affinity for added survivability.
The Grave of Curse is a battle of attrition and precision. Blood Prince Xenos punishes unprepared teams with relentless HP drain, oppressive buffs, and punishing debuffs. Success hinges on building the right mix of shields, dispels, and buffs while keeping your DPS high enough to end the fight before your team’s Max HP collapses.
