In this article, we are going to cover the best damage dealers for each damage type, with lots of different ways to build teams these days due to the high amount of options available to us in the latest season.

We are now up to a total of 12 damage types, 2 per element, with some focussing on AOE damage, and others being one-trick ponies in single-target situations.

We are going to break down the best of the best and help you decide who to build your teams around, by covering the damage dealers, including the allusive Exclusive Legendaries, the best Non-Exclusives, and the best Epic or Rare damage dealers!

Wild

Flora

Excelling in Single-target Damage, Flora requires a large amount of attack and enlightenment, as well as multi-hitting Wild allies to hit her full potential, when paired with her Exclusive Artifact she is truly one of the highest damage dealers in the game.

Felicity

A non-exclusive option with powerful single-target damage. Frequently boosts her ultimate meter to cycle big hits more often, making her a formidable force in battle.

Tonalnan

As an epic, outdamages nearly any other Wild option, except a few. His passive skill boosts the critical damage stat significantly, enhancing his performance.

Burn

Aschetius

Araces

A budget Aschetius, Araces also explodes burns, dealing massive damage with high stacks. A strong alternative for burn strategies.

Poison

Lothair

Exclusive Legendary who thrives on targets with large poison stacks. Build with high enlightenment, attack, and his exclusive artifact for maximum damage.

Jathalea

Unlike Lothair, Jathalea explodes poisons, dealing massive damage to all enemies hit. Ideal for quick bursts of damage.

Eli

As a rare hero, Eli deals significant damage with a three-lane attack, making him a valuable asset for widespread damage.

Corrosion

Rook

Best damage dealer in the game. With his exclusive artifact, nothing comes close unless he is nerfed or others are buffed.

Whisk

Best non-Rook Corrosion option. Corrosion damage is less effective when Rook is around. No Rook, no party.

Dargo

Like Whisk, Dargo deals significant damage, but Corrosion’s viability is hampered without Rook. Needs a strong team to excel.

Frost

Hvitar

Exclusive Legendary dealing massive map-wide damage. Executes low-health enemies with her passive skill, dominating the battlefield.

Auster

Ultimate skill deals massive AoE damage. Passive skill triggers frequent attacks on enemies under frost debuffs, making him a versatile attacker.

Usha

For a rare, Usha packs a massive punch. Ideal for free-to-play or low-spend accounts in early stages, providing significant damage output.

Ice Blast

Beldelle

Miro

Best non-exclusive Legendary for damage, but doesn’t compare to Nadja or Gerthin. A solid choice, but not top-tier.

Nadja

Summoner

Lelwanis

Exclusive Legendary who sacrifices all summons to increase her AoE damage. Deadly when paired with many summons and her exclusive artifact.

Scharlach

Summons a Massive Fear Bearer for moderate damage. Best among weak summon damage types, making him a decent choice.

Zadok

Epic hero with strong damage. Increases attack with each summoned undead minion. Deals good AoE and single-target damage at maximum stacks.

Shadow

Ozul

Rally

Thelendor

Philto

Philto hits all targets in a 3-row attack. With the rally buff, he deals some of the nastiest AoE damage in the game. A formidable AoE attacker.

Hegio

As a non-legendary, Hegio deals strong damage and jumps to target locations, avoiding boss fight mechanics. A versatile damage dealer.

Aura

Aemonleyda

Schaltar

Like Ivellios, Schaltar deals huge derivative damage when stacked with attack and enlightenment. Surrounded by fast-hitting Dauntless allies, he excels in battle.

Thunderbolt

Perkunte

Perkunte thrives with an enabler stacking large quantities of electrocute debuffs. His ultimate skill, combined with his exclusive artifact, deals devastating AoE damage.

Orfenna

Added in season 4, Orfenna frequently hits like a Dauntless. She’s the best enabler and rivals Perkunte for single-target damage, making her a top-tier choice.

Hirvolm

Best of a bad bunch, Hirvolm can serve as a secondary or tertiary damage dealer. However, the previous two Thunderbolts are the bread and butter of this damage type.
