Best Epics in Season 2: Dragonheir: Silent Gods
In this article, we will aim to break down who we consider to be the Best Epics in Season 2 from Dragonheir: Silent Gods, this will consist of Heroes available from all of the current seasons.
Building your many teams in Dragonheir can be quite a daunting task, especially as you approach the second and third months of the season as you need to cover so many different things, knowing which epics you can truly rely on and turn to in this time is vital to progressing your account further and placing higher in the seasonal rankings.
We have picked 3 Epics for each Element to cover in this article, and Neva has released a video covering them also, which you can check out at the bottom of the article.
Fire Element Heroes
Adolphus
Adolphus is an insanely strong support, offering shields and healing when paired with another shield hero, he is a vital support for this Season(2) when fire/necrosis has very limited options, and can be pivotal to certain dungeons, namely Grave of Curse where his shields prevent the boss from gaining large shields.
Voresh
Voresh brings ridiculously good full-board AOE damage and also doubles up as a pseudo healer who can help bring buff control with his buff prohibition ultimate, and a battle skill that removes buffs, Voresh can enable many tough boss fights like Grave of Curse and Ancient Battlefield, whilst also being a great debuff enabler for Sigrid.
Gerthin
Gerthin, just like Araces, Gerthin serves as a replacement for Beldelle, the Exclusive Ice Blast Legendary – and is capable of competing at the top end of Vortex rankings with her powerful Single Target Damage, whether that be paired with some of the other Ice Blast Epics, like Bleddyn, or the better Legendaries like Shinnah to enable her with lots of Ice Crystals.
Zhar’loth
Zharloth can be utilised as a pseudo healer like Voresh, but also has very strong AOE damage whilst bringing a great level of control from Fears and recharging speed penalty – damage doesn’t rely on other damage types because of being a support.
Thia
Necrosis Element Heroes
Thia is an amazing support for Ranged Heroes, which is really helpful against continental bosses and season 1’s endgame boss (yet to be seen in season 2) – Thia can fully protect your team from debuffs while providing some healing too, nothing crazy, but enough in many scenarios, but she’s all about the invisibility and debuff immunity for ranged – very strong and annoying in the arena too.
Questa
Questa is incredibly infuriating to face in arena, as she jumps to lowest HP target and nukes them, she also supplies Atk Penalty (great for continental bosses) whilst also doing very good sustained damage, Questa also heals all allies if she kills somebody (great for arena!) – finally, she also steals 30% ultimate energy!
Radiance Element Heroes
Garius
Garius is a ridiculously strong Tank and Healer, he cleanses himself of all debuffs on his Ultimate skill, which is really handy for keeping him alive, but also provides massive healing based on his Defense stat, on top of this Garius is effectively an exclusive legendary with the Legendary artifact “Gatekeepers Staff” (provides shields on overhealing) as the shields he provides are INSANE!
Catherine
Catherine can bring Good AOE healing to your team scaling from Enlightenment, she also brings Debuff Immunity for 10s on her ultimate which is vital for lots of content areas without having access to lots of legendary healers like Gillian within the Radiance Element. Debuff management is a vital part of many areas, so being able to rely on someone to either block them, or remove them consistently is key, and she is one of the best non-legendaries for this job!
Alvis
Alvis is the best non-legendary hero when it comes to enabling other Rally heroes, without legendaries like Lorentheel, Alvis is your go-to to give a high uptime on Rally buff to enable the rest of your team to do huge damage, alongside this Alvis also brings several damage buffs that will go on the ally with the highest attack, which further empower your teams damage potential!
Lightning Element Heroes
Iola
Iola, or as many call her, Lola, is the Epic Queen of control with a kit loaded with stuns, silences, and ATK penalties. She can do decent damage too as a backup/extra damage dealer in your team, all of this makes her incredibly good for arena and wave content like Fey Meander, Pillar of Trials etc. Finally, her Ultimate also hits 3x AOE which makes her VERY good for the Witches Remains artifact to place AOE Defense Penalty.
Schaltar
Schaltar is an insane Dauntless damage based on Enlightenment, meaning there is no need for Crit Rate or Crit Damage, just pure ATK+Enlightenment. Enabling his huge damage does require him being used with other Dauntless damage dealers who have high attack speed/frequent hits to trigger his derivative damage more frequently, but there are many options for this, like Nimbus the Epic, who hits incredibly frequently!
Nathaniel
Nathaniel is a great support for Lightning/Poison teams with strong shields that scale from Enlightenment, passive healing any time a buff is removed/expires from an ally, and a battle skill that dispels debuffs from allies, finally, his ultimate not only brings shields, but also provides AOE Defense Up for your team!
Poison Element Heroes
Frurbath
If you’re playing Dragonheir, the likelihood is you already know how good Frurbath is, the Epic that does it all…Frurbath is great as a solo tank, or as a team-wide healer when allies are stacked around him, he also brings ATK Penalty that can hit a large area, a passive that can dispel debuffs (don’t rely on this though as it’s not enough to fully cleanse your team) – Top top top tier!
Vicuc
Vicuc is massively beneficial as a cleaner, ultimate full board that cleanses 2 debuffs from everybody (great for things like Grave of Rot where you take lots of debuffs) to keep on top of things, he does heal but his healing isn’t spectacular, His battle skill also brings ATK Penalty on which is huge to help maintain a high uptime. Finally, Vicuc places an ACC Penalty on the attacker whenever hit with a debuff, which helps to mitigate future debuffs.
Corrin
Corrin is a great poisoner to enable damage for others whose damage scales on the amount of active poisons or deals damage himself, he spreads poisons to nearby enemies when enemies die under poison debuffs, places a large amount of poisons on his battle skill and then with his Ultimate skill, refreshes the duration of poisons then explodes them, dealing AOE damage in a wide range.
When is the Season 2 tier list going to be updated? Most of the heroes are showing zeros across the board.
I’m going through re-rating them all this week :)
