This article is special thanks to Skratch and Arselan, who have done an incredible video series breaking down their thoughts on every single Legendary in the game, sharing their knowledge from the Beta, and so far on live servers with the community – be sure to check them out and subscribe to their channels – the video attached at the bottom is their Poison Legendary breakdown.

Lothair

Lothair is known to strike at Midnight with his dual blades laced with Poison. He has an increase all allies Enlightenment by 60 in all battles aura. This is big because most Poisoners use Enlightenment and attack as their main damage. So starting with +60 from the get go really gets you off the mark and able to deal more damage.

His Passive is one of the strongest for the poison heroes. This is because when you deal damage to a target under poison then Lothair does additional damage. If you can keep the poisons up then he will do a large sum of damage for your team. His Battle Skill does average damage but places Poison so you can start using your passive to start stacking and hit harder.

His Ultimate deals a mixture of Enlightenment and Attack so you really want to stack those stats up! It does some nice damage!

Jathalea

Jathalea is the Forest Priestess, and she uses her staff to radiate poisons to her enemies! She is very good for PvP especially paired with a Poison team.

Her Passive causes skill damage dealt to enemies with less than 35% HP to increase by 25%, unfortunately, it doesn’t come into play that much but that little boost of damage is nice.

Her battle Skill is RNG-based as it attacks 3 times at random, but it places Poisons. It also places an Enlightenment up for herself which is good for her Ultimate because she requires high enlightenment to deal damage.

Her Ultimate is where she shines for PvP because she deals high Poison Damage and then does additional damage for each Poison stack on the target. It then removes all the Poisons, so it is a bit like an activate but it deals very nice damage so removing the poisons are worth it! Also, targets killed by this skill cannot be resurrected so it fits very well in the arena.

Vicana

Vicana, the She-Wolf hunts in a pack and uses her awesome crossbow to pin back enemies! She is a very strong hero!

Her Passive gains Enlightenment up permanently when a poison is inflicted upon an enemy.

Her Battle Skill is a triple hitter at random so you best please RNGesus!  Each hit has a chance to place a poison, so is very effective in Single Target encounters.

Her Ultimate marks enemies in her range and inflicts a mark, which allows Vicana to release a Toxic Blast every time the marked enemy receives a Poison debuff, which scales as derivative damage, to truly take full effect of Vicana, you will want other poison heroes to place as many poisons as possible after she has used her Ultimate and she ends up doing a load of damage.

Durango

Durango, The Ascetic Monk has death blades attached to his arms.

His Passive deals damage and inflicts 3 poisons right from battle start so when you pair him with Lothair he does amazing damage!

He has an Accuracy in all battles which is great for Poisoners because poisoners need accuracy to land the debuffs.

His Battle Skill is a triple hitter upon a single enemy, and it recharges his Ultimate if it is a crit. The issue with Durango is he is very stat hungry as you want to do the damage and land poisons and land crits! It is all too much for a single champion, especially in the early game.

His Ultimate is pretty good as it attacks 3 times and can place 2 stacks of poison per hit.

Durango is best paired with other heroes who will scale from the number of poisons on the target, like Lothair and Vicana.

Ergander

Ergander, The Trapped Beast is a Vampire/Dark Elf looking creature and his sword looks like it is meant to cause serious damage.

He is one of the best Tanks in the game! His aura increases allies defence in arena by 45%, this helps his own survivability massively!

His Passive inflicts Attack Penalty 2 onto his attacker so build him tanky. The Battle skill can reduce Ultimate energy and grants MAX HP to the hero. This passive is broken in essence so make use of it.

In PvP he is the meat shield tanking all your hits for your team so that you can come from behind him and wipe out the enemy.

Ergander’s Ultimate taunts enemies and he gains immortality. This is exactly what you want from your tank!

Talwer

Talwer, The Toadstool is a defensive hero and he screams Poison!

His Aura is Accuracy in the Arena, 65 extra accuracy is good for the arena. His Passive stacks up damage reduction for every debuff on the enemies. So, you want to smack all the enemies with as many debuffs as possible so Talwer is stronger.

His Battle Skill plants mushrooms around enemies which taunts them and explode on the enemies’ inflicting poisons. So, you have disrupted them from attacking your backline and you are placing poisons on them which makes Talwer tankier. It’s the perfect tank combo.

His Ultimate creates spore clouds and deals damage over time and places Accuracy Penalty 2 and if they are already poisoned then it places Attack Penalty 2.

Unfortunately, though, he doesn’t quite live up to many other tanks, including Epics – especially in this Element, if he was not Poison he would arguably be more valuable.

Oggok

Oggok, The Toxic Witch doctor, looks amazing, and he lives up to it!

He has an increased Resistance in all battles aura by 50, this is good as not many heroes have this aura so he is one of a small minority.

He is a good Support hero as his Passive dispels a debuff from an ally once they are healed.

His Battle Skill bounces a shadow between 6 enemies and has a chance to place an Attack Penalty 2, and any ally hit from the wave gets a heal plus the passive cleanse.

His Ultimate summons a Totem that grants Immortality to all allies and heals them afterwards! Great support champion who can fit into any team!

Reytah

Reytah, Queen of the Swamp, is a support champion that slivers around the field.

She has an HP aura in the City of Trials. Her Passive reduces damage taken by 30% (once fully stacked), this is great for a slippery support champion because the reduction is on everyone in your team. Her Battle Skill inflicts an Attack Penalty 2 and a chance of placing an Accuracy Penalty 2.

Her Ultimate is a Full Cleanse on all allies and grants Defence up 2, While doing all this she extends all debuffs on enemies by 5 secs. This is a great Ultimate ability and can fit in well into any team comp as a support hero.

Twitch

Twitch, The Corpse Flinger is a poisonous rat with dual-wielding crossbows that does some serious damage.

His Passive can stack another poison whenever another skill places a poison on the target.

You want to build him with high Enlightenment as his Battle skill shoots additional arrows for every 60 enlightenment Twitch has.

His Ultimate launches a total of 4 attacks and all can poison twice. He is a good Poisoner to have in your team!
