Poison Chaos Shadow Guide – Dragonheir: Silent Gods

The Poison Chaos Shadow Boss becomes active during Month 2 of Dragonheir: Silent Gods Season 3 as part of the month-long event to acquire the legendary Hero, Aladiah.

The Boss will receive 100% more damage from Lightning sources, so utilizing a team based on this is going to be key to achieving the maximum damage thresholds.

Ability Breakdown:

BATTLE SKILL:

Soulseeker Arrow:

Deals Poison Damage to the enemy with the highest attack, marking them for 6.0s. During this time, the hero will shoot an additional arrow at them when launching a basic attack, dealing additional Poison Damage

ULTIMATE SKILL:

Cursed Domain:

Summons a Magic Nexus that lasts 8.0s in the target area, dealing Poison Damage to enemies within range every 1s.
While the Magic Nexus exists, enemies who die in it cannot be resurrected.

PASSIVE SKILL 1:

When the monster deals damage to enemies, there is a 25% chance of inflicting 1 debuff randomly selected from the following for 10.0s: Attack Penalty I, Crit Rate Penalty, Crit Damage Penalty, Attack Speed Penalty I.

PASSIVE SKILL 2:

Immune to all Control Effects

PASSIVE SKILL 3:

The hero gains stackable Total Damage Bonus permanently each time they release their ultimate skill. (Increases damage dealt by 200% for every stack. This effect is unstoppable, undispellable and permanent).

How to Beat the Boss:

It’s time for Dauntless Heroes to continue to shine, as they’ve been kindly given a single-target fight for Lightning to face in the Continental Challenges and Chaos Shadow Bosses this season, meaning they will remain in favour of Thunderbolt once again.

This boss is a little trickier than some of the others, however it is very manageable with the correct setup.

First of all, you want to ensure you have 1 tank and 1 healer, both of which who are capable of surviving the full length of the fight – they will most likely be the only ones taking damage if done correctly.

Next up, you want to stick to ranged DPS where possible, due to the way the boss works, his ultimate skill will target stacked groups of Heroes, so positioning your team to force this onto the solo tank and healer will avoid any damage from this skill on your damage dealers.

Next up, the battle skill is something you can trick, it will target the hero with the highest attack, our advise would be to use the Legendary Hero Fathomdown if you are lucky enough to have him, as he is a tank who scales very well with attack AND requires Accuracy meaning you are able to build him wearing the Slingshot Artifact to further boost his attack to ensure that this skill is targetting him.

MAIN THINGS TO REMEMBER:

  • ATK Penalty
  • Ranged DPS (Single Target – Dauntless)
  • Smart Positioning to avoid getting overwhelmed!
  • High ATK Target for Battle Skill

Recommended Teams:

Picking and choosing your team is subjective to every account, however, we’re going to cover a range of different options you could consider bringing into this fight, as well as highlighting in our opinion; the best options.

As far as actual composition goes, this boss is made significantly easier if you have the Legendary Hero, Fathomdown.

There are other viable tanks of course, however, the healing options for Lightning and Necrosis are limited, however, there are a few unsung heroes who don’t see enough use that will be coming out to play!

In terms of Damage options, Dauntless are massively dominant when it comes to Single-target fights, so they should be your go-to however, if you happen to have all of the Thunderbolt legendaries (including Perkunte) then you can also deal plenty of damage on this fight!

Ranged damage dealers are the more favourable option for this fight due to the way the ultimate skill is targeted.

Damage Dealers (Ranged)

Damage Dealers (Melee)
