Twilight Lands – CC Bond – Eternal Evolution

Spacer

Twilight Lands is the most difficult (but fun!) PvE content that Eternal Evolution has added so far. It gets harder as you progress through each chapter, fighting tough bosses and having to adjust teams as you change stages. The rewards for Twilight Lands, however, make it worth the time invested. Be sure to check out our overall guide for more general details on this stage of content. Let’s dive deeper into a more specific aspect of this content: the bonds.

Each stage will suggest the best recommended “bond” to beat it. The bonds are what help to give you advantages in each battle (though not always needed to follow.) For this article, let’s discuss the CC Bond.

The Strategy

This bond is probably the simplest yet the most asked about. It doesn’t have a boosted bond description when you put it together in formation or go against a battle suggesting a “cc bond” like the others. All of the other recommended bonds have some sort of bonus effect shown on the right hand panels when you’re building your teams; this one is only mentioned on the first menu before fighting the boss but gives no special bonus when using those types of heroes.

When it comes to CC, we’re talking about “crowd control” type skills. An ability that can buy some time to allow you to do your skills while the enemy is temporarily disabled is what you’re looking for. Stunning is probably the most obvious form of CC. Heroes that have stun include Daniel, Emma, Anpu, Zaida, Bohr, Oak, Oisa, Langel, Lirin, Hyupnos, Sorietta, and Poluno.

There’s also some other forms of CC like knockback, knockdown, suppress, imprisonment and a couple other terms that imply gathering or moving enemies. Heroes that have this include Crete, Botta, Anpu, Aniruddha, Oak, Kuite, Hyupnos and Sorietta.

The bosses and minions of these CC bond fights also do crowd control. So it’s sort of a “fight fire with fire” situation where you want to keep them crowd controlled so they don’t crowd control you. You can also try to use heroes that have immunity, at least sometimes, to crowd control effects to help avoid it like Leo, Bailey Hudson, Oisa, Leo, Bot Mark II, and Serena.

Final Thoughts

You can pause, quit, and restart a battle and not lose heroes! Be willing to experiment to see what combinations work best for you. If you go in and someone dies too quickly, go out of the battle, change something, and try again. Even positioning can make a huge difference. Keep in mind the more people that beat a Chapter, the more “Herald’s Power” you get and the easier it will be when you try again. Stuck completely? Wait til more people fill up the leaderboard and try again!
