Diablo Immortal – The Daily Grind
Diablo Immortal will have a daily grind that you should push for to get the most from your time. Some in-game activities will have a daily cap therefore you’ll only be able to complete them a certain number of times. This means you can’t just sit and run dungeons all day and get a big advantage over the other players. However, you’ll still get an advantage if you can complete the daily grind because you’ll have more resources than those who don’t. Diablo Immortal doesn’t have an energy cap so if you finish the daily stuff, you can still play and grind exp.
Your Daily PvE activities are estimated to be around the two-hour mark so if you are on the train up to work or have a nice lunch break it would be a good time to grind your daily activities out so you can stay competitive in the game. This will depend on your skill level and if you don’t get side-tracked on the side missions or slaying some enemies! **As said above this is an estimation and could change on release or if you can burn through them quickly.
The Daily PvP content is also estimated to take another hour on top of the PvE activities. If you can’t commit the time to do it all you should stick to the bits you enjoy so if you are a PvP player and love an online battle, then you should do that as, after all, it’s a game for you to enjoy! And visa versa if you love the PvE side of the game and all the dungeons you should stay with what you want to enjoy out of the game.
Here is a list of some of the Daily quests:
First Kill of the day
It will take roughly 30 seconds to complete, and you can do it once per day and you can be rewarded with Gold, Scrap Materials, Enchanted Dust, Glowing Shards, Normal gems, Legendary gems, and Legendary Equipment.
To complete it you need to open the shop menu and claim the free Daily reward in the bundle’s section, then kill one monster and claim your First Kill of the Day reward. This one should be done every day that you’re online because it’s very simple and basically free rewards. They may be minuscule however they will stack up eventually as you play the game over a longer period.
Weekly Helliquary Bosses
It will take about 15 minutes and you can only collect the rewards twice per week so make sure you do as it’s worth it! It is locked behind your quest progression so once you’ve progressed through the game enough it will be unlocked, and you’ll be able to repeat this quest. You’ll be rewarded with Scoria each time you complete the quest unless it’s the first time because then you’ll get slightly different rewards such as a new Trophy and a ORDR Boost which is huge for you and your progression!
To complete the quest, you’ll need to Kill all the Helliquary Bosses that you are able to. Do this twice a week to maximise your rewards. This will be an eight-player raid so grab your friends and smash the bosses or team up with randoms and make new friends!
Daily Activity Rewards
This will take you about 30-60 minutes depending on your playstyle and if you get side-tracked easily or not, so if you can smash through it then it will take less time. This is limited to once per day however the developers have been very kind and allowed you to stack it up to three times so you can do three days’ worth in one day. The rewards for collecting this quest will be 1 Charm, 300 Platinum, and 1 Scoria.
This is the most important part of the Daily Grind because it gives you good rewards that will help you progress in the game! To earn this reward, you need to get 120 battle points and you’ll Passively complete this task by completing other tasks. It’s not the end of the world if you can’t complete this one on the day as it will stack but try not to lose it after the 3 days because it’s a lot of resources to lose and it will cost you! If you don’t have time to get the 120 Battle Points from quests, then you can always solo run dungeons until you get enough to pass off this quest.
Cycle of Strife Activities
This will take about 30-60 minutes to complete depending on your speed! You can complete these once per week or day and you can get some great rewards such as Faction Advancement, Experience, Gold, Hilts, Scrap Materials, Glowing Shards, and Legendary Equipment.
This is done by climbing up your faction depending on which you chose, for Shadows reaching Whisper 4 grants you a massive power boost. Immortals can get the first pick in the vault to get the exclusive Triple Stat Legendries. You should try to do these daily as it pushes your Faction to be better than the other!
Kulle’s Hidden Chamber
This could take 30-60 minutes depending on how long you are waiting for the group. You are limited to doing 10 of these a day, this includes Portal Tomes and bosses. The rewards you could get from this are: Scrap Materials, Enchanted Dust, Glowing Shards, and Legendary Equipment.
This Daily Event takes place in the Library of Zoltun Kulle. Once you have searched and collected five Lost pages it will form a Portal Tome that opens a Portal to take you to a hidden Chamber to start the Quest. You should watch the Global chat because these events are Public so you may be able to jump in and join someone who’s just starting. When you open a Tome there is a chance a Sandstone Golem or Kuelle’s Hydra may appear, so you have 3 minutes to reach its spawn location.
Legacy of the Horadrim
These will take a mere 10 minutes to complete, and it is limited to 1 free chest per day, and up to 21 chests if you have enough Platinum or Aspirant’s Keys. You’ll be rewarded with Beryl, Garnet, and Sapphire.
You should check how many Aspirant keys you must begin with as you can open as many chests as you have keys. You need to kill everything that is in the room to collect your 4 free Aspirant’s Key drops. You must collect them manually to not lose them! The first chest room is the best room to open all the chests if you have the keys to do so. You should also manually loot the culling stones to get more loot. To be most efficient you should open every chest in the first room daily and then save your keys for other days. Unless you have a massive surplus of keys then you can go ahead and open all the chests with 373 keys needed to open the entirety of Sanctum for additional rewards.
Bounties
This will take you around 30-60 minutes. And you are limited to 8 per day but they stack up to 24 when they aren’t completed. You can earn Exp and Gold. These aren’t great rewards however you should make sure to pick up the Monstrous Essence whilst you complete these bounties for extra Battle Points.
Finish Bestiary Turn Ins
This will take you 20 minutes to finish, and you can do 3 per day to unlock new pages. The rewards you can get are Gold, Scrap Materials, Enchanted Dust, Class items, Glowing Shards, and Legendary Equipment.
You shouldn’t start with these because you should complete other quests that give more Monstrous Essence.
Battlegrounds
This will take you 10 minutes to complete per Battleground and these are limited as they only open at 8am, 12pm, 6pm and 10pm server time. These are open for 2 hours per time slot. You can get rewarded with Exp, Scrap Materials, Reforge Stones, Aspirant’s Key, Glowing Shards, and Legendary Equipment.
These are great for PvP players and is the best source of Reforge Stones! If you reach the rank of Legend, you can receive up to 100 Reforge Stones at the end of the Season.
Dungeons
The time it takes to complete will be around 5 minutes and can only be limited by your campaign progression. The rewards you’ll get are EXP, Scrap Materials, Enchanted Dust, normal gems, and Set Items.
This is good for any level of player, and you should rush through these asap because it gives pretty good rewards. This should be done after the above is done because it’s just for topping up Battle Points to hit your daily Limit. You may find some legendary items in the mix if you do enough runs and get some good RNG!
All this is great for your Daily Grind but for maximum effectiveness, you should start from the top of the list as it will grant more Battle Points so you can complete the Daily Activity Rewards the quickest! Are you going to be able to do the Daily Grind? Let us know in the comments below!
