Wizard Class Overview: Diablo Immortal

Wizards are a common class in most MMO games, and that is no different in Diablo Immortal. This magic-wielding class has a large AOE and CC abilities to stop their enemies at all costs. The Wizard class is for strategic players that enjoy simple spell synergy combos to maximise their DPS. Wizards will be fairly popular so if you want to pretend to be like Harry Potter pick up your staff and join the fight.

Strengths:

Wizards have tons of DPS but it’s up to you to follow the guides and maximise the Wizard tree because you’ll need to hit combos to get the most damage out as possible.

You’ll have CC for days meaning you can root enemies in place and then smack them around whilst they are defenceless.

It will be so satisfying to watch as you literally melt your foes and leave dust where they once stood.

You can fight at a far range or close up depending on your playstyle.

You have good mobility and can get out of sticky situations very easily!

Weaknesses:

Wizards have long Cooldowns on their abilities! This is so they can be balanced and not just rain nukes after nukes on their foes.

You need a good eye as most of your skills are skill shots so if you can’t hit an ability to save your life then maybe the Wizard Class isn’t for you.

You’ll need to maximise your DPS by carefully planning and timing your abilities so you’ll need to combo them well and learn your limits.

You are a glass cannon so although you may deal a ton of damage you won’t be able to take a paper cut without needing the support of a monk to shield you.

You need good reactions to avoid being beaten up by your foes.
