One of the newest factions in the game (but voted players’ favourite!) the Shadowkin are a very offensive faction. Nearly every champion in this faction emphasises speed and damage, but healing and reviving are hard to come by. When building teams for this faction, you will often need to lean into this strength, rather than trying to directly counter the weakness.

For normal difficulty, prioritise events and champions needed for the Lady Mikage fusion, as she is a game-changer for this faction. Her Base Form brings huge boss damage and protects your main damage dealer from debuffs, and her Alternate Form brings SS-tier control for waves. Your main damage dealer will require good gear–and you have to collect epics for Mikage–so time will be the biggest obstacle here.

For hard difficulty, this will likely be a challenging faction. Lady Mikage will carry this faction once again–for hard difficulty, pair her up with another control champion or some Increase Speed or Decrease Speed champions to ensure waves never take a turn. Bosses are the big challenge here: you can either go full offense and try to kill them ASAP; or you can try to supplement with some defensive support–either way, you’ll need some strong gear to get through.
