Doom Tower Secret Rooms

Spacer

A Secret Room is a unique challenge room where you need to comply with the set rules to enter. An example could be “Defeat this room using champions from only the Ogryn Tribes faction”. Each Rotation has 12 Secret Rooms for Normal and 12 for Hard. Every room has a different requirement.

These rooms are designed to stretch and challenge your champion pool representing a new challenge in the game. In our experience, some of these secret rooms are extremely difficult whilst others can rely on your existing champions.

To enter a Secret Room, you must use a Silver Key (used to also repeat boss floors for Forge Materials). This will only be consumed if you successfully complete the encounter allowing you to run different combinations of champions, setups until you succeed. Once you complete the room, you’ll get 2 keys back and you can run this for free if you want to challenge for top spot on the clan and global leaderboards. You will also be rewarded with three champion fragments (Epic from Normal and Legendary from Hard) towards the Doom Tower Fragment Champions. You can learn about these champions here.

Is there a new article for the new round of doom tower?

Rotation 2 came and went without any add ons for the secret rooms. Just a list would be extremely helpful for people to level champions while waiting for the rotation to come back around.

I would love to see a guide dedicated to beating all the hard DT rooms with the fewest total champs. What champs do you get the most mileage with across all secret rooms? For example, Vogoth is great and can be used in 3 different rooms (between the 2 DT rotations). Would be some great new content and would help people focus their energy better

That’s exactly how I see it, @Paidliljoe. Why not start a video series designed to do just that. which champs should you pull up to get through the secret rooms most effectively?

@HellHades give it a go

You all do great work! Question:

After this section is complete, are there any plans to help people consolidate how many champions they would need to build?
Maybe adding a column to the tier list or player page that shows how many hard rooms / normal rooms a champion a champion can be used in.

I know this would be a massive undertaking & you’d likely need to flesh out / iterate on the idea but I truly believe this would be immensely useful in reducing how many resources players spend on building secret room teams. Regardless, I trust your judgment & wish you nothing but continued success. Keep killing it!

Any chance this page with get updated? I made it to Doom Tower Hard Rotation 3 but I can’t seem to find helpful lists of champions for the secret room. Thank you for your consideration.

Typo in Rotation 2, “Secret Room 7 Guide – Magic Spirit Affinity” should be “Secret Room 7 Guide – Magic Support Champions”

So, has this been abandoned? Nothing new in a long time, and nothing at all on hard doom tower rooms. Would be good to know about things like the “rare spirit champs” and such.

For the Rare Spirit Champs Secret Room, I would look to use Soulbond Bowyer in stun set as she will provide Crowd Control. If you have 2, even better. Focus on Speed and also some accuracy for her A3. Damage shouldn’t be the main priority with her but if you have 2, you could make 1 damage and 1 for crowd control. Gnarlhorn in Freeze set and made tanky will be another great support champ to ensure your high damage / attack champs who are a bit more squishy can survive longer. If you have those champs, it’s a great start. Then you could round the team out with a Marquess for damage and freeze ability and maybe another support champ like Tirlac.

Looks like the secret rooms have been abandoned.. which is not great as I know a lot of people would like some guides on them. The biggest tip I would give to those rare rooms would be focus on crowd control champs and support champs and round off the team with a damage champ if possible. You could use stun sets or provoke sets to assist with that on AOE hitting champs and making them fast and tanky
