Toragi The Frog Overview

In the mist-shrouded lands of the Shadowkin, Toragi the Frog wields a mystical staff that channels potent poisons and protective magic. If enemies dare to attack him, they will find themselves with toxins coursing through their veins… While his protective and crowd control abilities make him a versatile choice for players. Toragi the Frog is an Epic Champion from the Shadowkin Faction.

Though Toragi’s abilities are primarily designed for battling the Clan Boss, he has some of the most valuable Buffs and Debuffs, which are effective against various encounters. Opening with Bog Blessing [A2], he casts a Shield on all allies equal to 15% of his MAX HP and applies an Ally Protection buff. Additionally, he heals himself by 25% of his MAX HP, with the healing amount increasing by 2.5% for each Poison debuff on the enemy team, and places a Reflect Damage buff on allies. This team protection & self restoration is particularly strong for teams that do not rely on an Unkillable setup, and synergises well with options such as Underpriest Brogni to extend the value of his Shields. Whenever Toragi is attacked, there is a 50% chance he will place a Poison Debuff on the attacker. This provides a valuable source of damage, enhances his healing potential, and is most effective against an affinity Clan Boss.

In addition to this, Toragi can crowd control enemies with his Provoke and reduce incoming damage by placing a Decrease Attack on single targets. This can be highly effective when progressing through Faction Wars, defeating waves in the Doom Tower, or tackling stages in the Cursed City [as examples]. Lastly, his A3 ability is valuable for the Fire Knight due to his Reflect Damage, and he can even solo The Scarab King thanks to his self-healing and Poison reflections.

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
