RAID: Shadow Legends Relics and Gemstones Tier Lists
Relics have quickly become a key part of every champion’s build–and more are constantly being added!–so we have created a dedicated Tier List for the website so you can quickly check how any new Relic you earn/craft stacks up against other options.
We have also created a Gemstone Tier List to give you a quick overview of how powerful the gemstones are. Make sure to check out our individual champion pages for recommendations on best Relics and Gemstone builds for them!
This tier list will be regularly updated as new relics are added, new strategies emergy, and balance changes occur.
We will also bring changelogs, breaking down why we are placing Relics in specific places on the tier list, to help you understand what makes them valuable.

HOW THE TIERS WORK
The criteria for each different tier on this list is as follows:
SS Tier = The best relics which can completely change the course of a battle.
S Tier = Very strong relics which significantly boost champion performance.
A Tier = Strong relics which make a noticeable difference to champion performance.
B Tier = Decent relics which are good filler options for champions.
C Tier = Weak relics which are decent filler options for less important champions.
D Tier = Bad relics which are not worth using.
CHANGELOG
- Images added to Relic Sections alongside names.
- Support added for the 8 new Grim Forest relics.
- Support added for the 8 new Winds of Winter relics.
- Infernosphere demoted from A to B: Newer (better) RES main stat relics have been added, pushing this down a tier.
- Perched Shadow promoted from S to SS: this has proven to be an incredibly strong PvE option for so many champions, and it works on a budget too.
- 8 new Forge Pass Relics added to Tier List!
- Xibia’s Servitude demoted from SS to S: With so many new relics coming in, this has been pushed down a tier (Immortal Visage is just better).
- Torch of Thralldom demoted from SS to S: The faction restriction holds this back from being as impactful as the SS tier Relics.
- Tech team has added shortcut links below the tier list to each relic group.
- New Discovery Event Relics have been added to the list (from the TMNT event).
- Chronocube demoted from SS to S: with this relic not working well on mythicals, we feel it deserves a slightly lower spot.
- The Deathdealer promoted from S to SS: ignoring affinity has proven to be an SS tier boost for many champions, despite the downsides of the relic.
- Arachnelixir promoted from S to SS: it’s just that OP for any champion with Poison.
- Volcardiac Heart promoted from S to SS: this relic has exceeded expectations, and not only combos well with Titus teams, but is also a menace in Arena and can kill champions like Marius.
- Added recommended champions for every relic (excluding C/D tier).
- Crown of Corruption nerf is now live, but we’re keeping it in SS tier for now: it’s still incredible on some of the best arena champions in the game.
The second major Tier List update, now Faction Wars and Chaos Awakes Relics have had more time to circulate through teams.
One big change is that we now have drop-down menus for many sections to streamline navigation of this page (they keep adding relics so the amount of scrolling required was getting out of hand!).
Perched Shadow – From A up to S: The big winner of the Faction Wars Relics is this, which is an incredible relic on any support who wants to cycle through abilities.
Scroll of the Unseen – From B up to A: We still feel like this Relic is too awkward for most players to use, but champions such as Titus or Trunda in tuned teamss can make amazing use out of it.
Hammer of Ending – From C up to B: This is simply better than most C tier relics and is a very solid option for Faction Wars Hard farming.
The first major update to the Tier List. Stay tuned for the 8 new Chaos Awakes Relics which will be added soon.
Golden Elixir – From B up to S: Due to the unique power of this relic for unlocking solo strategies for the new Event Dunegon, it needs to go up.
The Collective – From S down to B: It turns out this can remove protected buffs, making this an extremely niche relic.
Irethi Coronet – From S up to SS: It’s just such a crazy budget option for damage, it deserves to be SS.
Valkanen’s Grasp – From B down to C: After more testing, this just doesn’t do much damage. Very niche.
First release, so everything is new! Make sure to check out the “How the Tiers Work” section for details on what qualifies for a tier placement, then check out the dedicated Tier Sections below for short explanations about each Relic.
STANDARD RELICS

Volcardiac Heart

- Best Use: Amazing for go-second arena champions–particularly high-RES tanky revivers. Can potentially kill AoE damage dealers like Marius.
- Good On: Starsage Galathir, Marichka the Unbreakable, Wight Queen Ankora.
- Rating: SS Tier: This unique shield reflects damage and gives a great survivability boost.
Hallowed Hilt

- Best Use: Use on your fastest champion in arena for the SPD, especially if they have healing. Fervor is currently a unique buff; use it on a healer/buffer with 9-piece Protection set for even more damage in PvE content too.
- Good On: Theodosia the Disgraced, Siphi the Lost Bride, Arbiter.
- Rating: SS Tier: The Fervor buff is a small but useful bonus but it’s the huge SPD stat on this relic that makes it so strong.
Aspect of Siroth

- Best Use: Champions with strong passives who don’t need to take an active turn to gain value in your team. Also protects champions in Stoneskin from champions like Georgid who can ignore it.
- Good On: Ultimate Deathknight, Freyja Fateweaver, Rotos the Lost Groom.
- Rating: A Tier: Can save you in the arena against champion such as Georgid who are relying on landing that first initial kill. The turn meter loss is quite punishing, however.
Wand of Submission

- Best Use: The best option for most arena champions (due to countering OP enemies such as Armanz), especially debuffers.
- Good On: Nais the Shadowthief, Armanz the Magnificent, Odin Faefather.
- Rating: SS Tier: Arguably the best arena relic in the game, reflecting crowd control has the double whammy of both protecting your champions from control while also controlling the enemy.
Gilded Dragonstone

- Best Use: Budget option for DEF-based damage dealers (e.g. Harima) and great for champions whose Shields are based on DEF.
- Good On: Vault Keeper Wixwell, Helicath, Valkyrie.
- Rating: B Tier: Very niche to Shield champions; damage dealers have many better options.
Demonic Effigy

- Best Use: Use on tanky reviver champions.
- Good On: Rector Drath, Dawncaller Sabitha.
- Rating: C Tier: Much weaker than we first thought. Revivers are nearly always very strong, so you nearly always want a stronger relic on them.
Golden Elixir

- Best Use: Best used on tanky champions who can get maximum benefit from the healing.
- Good On: Geomancer, Urost the Soulcage, Niamhe, Spear of Nyresa.
- Rating: S Tier: Has become a cornerstone for keeping solo champions alive in tough boss fights.
Mask of Rage

- Best Use: Food to power up better relics.
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: D Tier: Used as food to power up better relics.
Unholy Grail

- Best Use: Use the free one on your starter champion, but replace it ASAP.
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: D Tier: Used as food to power up better relics.
Journal of Necrotos

- Best Use: Champions with strong Turn Meter boosts, such as Arbiter, or strong heals, such as Tagoar.
- Good On: Senna Amberheart, Arbiter, Tagoar, Apothecary.
- Rating: A Tier: Significant boost to two effects which are ubiquitously useful.
Rod of Blasphemy

- Best Use: Food to power up better relics.
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: D Tier: Used as food to power up better relics.
CHIMERA RELICS

Stormcaller
- Best Use: Damage dealers with multi-hitting AoE attacks or frequent Ally Attacks or Counterattacks.
- Good On: Marius the Gallant, Kro’khad the Throatripper, Gharol Bloodmaul.
- Rating: SS Tier: Significant damage boosts and a huge amount of Stuns as well. Best used on champions with multi-hit AoE attacks.
Chronocube
- Best Use: Champions who can chain two top tier skills back-to-back in arena, such as Armanz stripping buffs with his A3 then stealing Turn Meter with his A2. Does not work well on Mythicals who rely on changing forms, as it causes them to lose a turn.
- Good On: Armanz the Magnificent, Queen of Hearts.
- Rating: S Tier: Guaranteeing an Extra Turn is fight changing and enemies have no way to know it’s coming, but it doesn’t work well on mythical champions.
Gorecrescent
- Best Use: Champions who can one-shot an enemy (in arena, through Stoneskin or Block Damage etc.), then follow up with another strong attack.
- Good On: Ailil, Georgid the Breaker, Rotos the Lost Groom.
- Rating: S Tier: Somewhat the opposite of the Irethi Coronet, this thrives in shorter fights against weaker enemies, such as Arena or waves.
Hand of Uncreation
- Best Use: Alternative to the Wand of Submission for arena. Well suited to go-second teams.
- Good On: Ramantu Drakesblood, Mithrala Lifebane.
- Rating: B Tier: Very strong effects held back by low chances to activate; you can’t go into a fight relying on this to work.
Scroll of the Unseen
- Best Use: Slow, high-damage champions in Clan Boss teams. You must have Veil on them 100% of the time for value.
- Good On: Ninja, Trunda Giltmallet.
- Rating: A Tier: Can be a very strong damage boost in properly speed-tuned teams—but most players should opt for higher tier damage relics which are often stronger, easier to use, or both.
Orb of Transfixion
- Best Use: Arena champions who attack a lot to try steal Stoneskin, Block Damage, or other key buffs.
- Good On: Mighty Ukko, Lord Entertainer Fabian.
- Rating: B Tier: A useful effect held back by a low chance to activate.
Irethi Coronet
- Best Use: Any damage dealer who can place multiple debuffs and is used in longer fights (e.g. Clan Bosses).
- Good On: Thor Faehammer, Ninja, Trunda Giltmallet.
- Rating: S Tier: Tons of damage that’s easy to access without relying on relic ranks. A top performing relic for longer fights such as Clan Boss.
Malefic Talon
- Best Use: Filler for any damage dealer that uses C.DMG.
- Good On: Starter champions.
- Rating: B Tier: This is the generic damage dealer stat stick. Great filler option, but nothing special.
Diadem of Undeath
- Best Use: OK for Ally Protectors; usually used as Relic food.
- Good On: Starter champions.
- Rating: D Tier: Used as food to power up better relics.
Tempus Sanguinis
- Best Use: Champions with powerful Turn Meter reduction.
- Good On: Alure.
- Rating: B Tier: Strong increase for TM reduction. Very nice against early bosses (Spider, Fire Knight, etc.) and for Faction Wars.
Molten Deathbell
- Best Use: Any champion with the relevant debuffs until you get top quality relics.
- Good On: Armanz the Magnificent.
- Rating: A Tier: Control champions thrive off additional turn meter and the ACC stat is perfectly matched as well.
EVENT RELICS

CHAOS AWAKES
Covetous’ Passion
- Best Use: Arena nukers or wave clear… It’s basically the same as the Cat’s Gaze but it’s bad against Clan Bosses.
- Good On: Seer, Sun Wukong, Siegfrund the Nephilim.
- Rating: SS Tier: A strong alternative to the Cat’s Gaze. It works very well without needing ranks, which is a big plus.
Crown of Corruption
- Best Use: An arena damage dealer who wants to build a very high level of SPD.
- Good On: Hierophant Lazarius, Marius the Gallant, Embrys the Anomaly.
- Rating: SS Tier: Even after its nerf, this remains an incredibly powerful relic due to it’s huge flat SPD stat and damage boost (though it requires high investment into ranks 5 and 6 to shine).
DISCOVERY
Stars of the Jiinang
- Best Use: To cut in against Arena speed teams, particularly for fast, high-RES, go-second champions.
- Good On: Marichka the Unbreakable, Starsage Galathir, Lord Entertainer Fabian.
- Rating: SS Tier: This will add up to a huge amount of Turn Meter against enemies that increase team Turn Meter (such as Arbiter), letting you cut in and punish; think of it as a Supersonic set which thrives off Turn Meter instead of buffs.
Xibia’s Servitude
- Best Use: A very tanky reviver in Arena, particularly one with self-healing or shielding.
- Good On: Starsage Galathir, Duchess Lilitu, Theodosia the Disgraced.
- Rating: S Tier: This has the potential to make your reviver virtually unkillable against teams–or at least to take them by surprise and survive to get off a revive that they weren’t expecting.
FORGE PASS
Dreadbomb
- Best Use: The best damage dealer on your account, particularly arena damage dealers.
- Good On: Marius the Gallant, Siegfrund the Nephilim, Rotos the Lost Groom
- Rating: SS Tier: This is the best overall damage relic in the entire game. Great synergy with Merciless set or any champions who naturally take Extra Turns. C.DMG/SPD are ideal main/secondary stats. The only relic with three Triangle gemslots (the best overall damage gems); the only downside is losing out on stacking multiple Boss Slayer Circular gemstones.
Immortal Visage
- Best Use:Very tanky arena champions, who have high value when kept alive.
- Good On: Starsage Galathir, Marichka the Unbreakable, Theodosia the Disgraced.
- Rating: SS Tier: The best defensive Relic in the game for PvP content. Main stat SPD is by far the best main stat, coupled with a free revive that can bring you back at 100% Turn Meter?? And enemies will have no clue that you have this Relic equipped until in happens?!? Marichka just keeps on winning…
WINDS OF WINTER
Diabolical Dice
- Best Use: Arena damage dealers who build some ACC.
- Good On: Marius the Gallant, Galleus, Alice
- Rating: SS Tier: Extremely strong PvP relic, giving incredible damage boosts alongside the ability to lockout enemies. Particularly good against revivers to stop them reviving the team after you AoE nuke them! NOTE: this relic requires ACC to work.
The Towerhelm
- Best Use: High-RES tanky PvP champions.
- Good On: Starsage Galathir, Marichka the Unbreakable, Theodosia the Disgraced.
- Rating: SS Tier: When fully upgraded, this is basically Harima’s passive when you’re below 50% HP. Not as strong as Xibia’s, with similar issues–it’s hard to be tanky enough to stay alive when you’re that low on HP. This has the benefit of giving your Fortify at the start of the fight, but it’s not protected–build high RES to keep your buff. Main stat SPD is amazing.
ALICE’S ADVENTURE
The Cat’s Gaze
- Best Use: Any non-HP-based direct damage dealer. Watch out for champions with built-in Ignore Defence, since going above 100% gives no benefit.
- Good On: Marius the Gallant, Siegfrund the Nephilim, Sun Wukong.
- Rating: SS Tier: Stacking Ignore Defence gives massive damage gains; the only downside is that going over 100% Ignore Defence has no benefit, so certain champions are better with other relics. It’s also more limited for HP-based damage dealers in arena due to its restriction.
CHAOS AWAKES
Skull of Treason
- Best Use: HP Burn champions with the Incinerate Blessing in Arena/Siege.
- Good On: Vulkanos Fumor, Sulfuryion.
- Rating: S Tier: Absolutely broken for Arena/Siege when combined with the Incinerate Blessing. Half the value is locked behind ranks 5 and 6 though.
Gilded Pinion
- Best Use: Unbooked champions struggling to stay alive in Faction Wars or Cursed City.
- Good On: Authoratrix Lamasu, Ursala the Mourner.
- Rating: A Tier: It’s not sexy, but it’s effective. Decent damage reduction alongside decent stats and gem slots.
DISCOVERY
Last Laugh Amulet
- Best Use: Protecting a damage dealer from death, then saving them with an Unkillable or Block Damage buff before Delay hits.
- Good On: Sir Nicholas, Arnorn the Shining.
- Rating: A Tier: We think this could work well in certain team comps but we’re very concerned that this will be very hard to play around and will simply result in your champions dying from Delay before they do anything anyway.
Mask of Disquiet
- Best Use: Giving a second chance to champions who get Polymorphed by Wand of Submission reflection.
- Good On: Armanz the Magnificent, Lady Noelle
- Rating: A Tier: This seems very niche as well and will possibly go down the list–for most champions, you would rather use a Wand of Submission to simply reflect the Polymorph instead.
FORGE PASS
Bane of Sintranos
- Best Use:A fast champion in arena, who can take lots of turns to reset the relic cooldown.
- Good On: Lord Entertainer Fabian, Odin Faefather.
- Rating: A Tier: A very interesting Relic which needs more testing. The low chance is a big drawback, unless the enemy is buffing their whole team. Could copy Stoneskin and be amazing; or could copy something useless instead.
Blades of Akumori
- Best Use: Honestly, any champion for wave-based content–so long as they can take a hit! Very good on Provokers.
- Good On: Lord Entertainer Fabian, Arbais the Stonethorn.
- Rating: S Tier: This is an incredible relic: consider multiple champions wearing this in Faction Wars Hard–you would be provoking the enemies almost every turn! Has incredible synergy with Provoke, but not other CC debuffs.
WINDS OF WINTER
Thunderbolt Spear
- Best Use: Any PvP nuker who ignores Shields.
- Good On: Narses, Supreme Elhain
- Rating: A Tier: A great damage relic for PvP champions you run against Shielders.
Okulos Kustodion
- Best Use: High-RES PvP champions against enemies who place unresistable debuffs.
- Good On: Champions who are stacking RES.
- Rating: A Tier: It’s one of the better RES main stat relics due to the gem slots and SPD secondary stat. The effect is fairly weak, since high-RES champs want to resist everything anyway.
ALICE’S ADVENTURE
Hatter’s Reserve
- Best Use: Filler relic for HP damage dealers.
- Good On: Magnarr.
- Rating: C Tier: A decent damage boost for HP damage dealers in arena, who lack many other options.
CHAOS AWAKES
Gaze of Damnation
- Best Use: A damage dealer who reliably places Fear/True Fear.
- Good On: Timit the Fool, Ma’Shalled, Embrys the Anomaly.
- Rating: B Tier: Takes quite a while to ramp up the effects and it’s useless against most bosses. When it works though, it’s quite solid.
Grail of Agony
- Best Use: Lose to Armanz faster by having him simply kill you instead.
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: C Tier: The HP loss is astronomical without massively leveling up this relic–and even then it’s potentially lethal.
DISCOVERY
Saint Zavier’s Tribute
- Best Use: Champions who rely on Veil to function.
- Good On: Candraphon
- Rating: B Tier: Decent for niche champions who want Veil, and decent for damage dealers against Hydra if you can’t deal with the Head of Torment.
Exuzar’s Totem
- Best Use: Cut in against Armanz/Fabian-type champions in Arena, particularly if your champion can remove those debuffs.
- Good On: Mithrala Lifebane, Uugo
- Rating: B Tier: Good budget option for cleansers.
FORGE PASS
Andromeda’s Diadem
- Best Use: A healer with frequent healing abilities (i.e. must be more often than a 3-turn cooldown heal).
- Good On: Donatello.
- Rating: B Tier: Only good on champions who heal very frequently (and doesn’t count passives), makes this very niche.
The Exile’s Crown
- Best Use: Accessible RES stat-stick for any RES-building champions.
- Good On: Praeva the Slitherer.
- Rating: B Tier: Counter-synergy between the RES main stat and the effect scaling from debuffs received (surely you build RES to avoid debuffs entirely??) makes this only OK. 50% damage reduction at max rank and at 10 debuffs is actually very strong but exceedingly unlikely to happen.
WINDS OF WINTER
Howling Guardians
- Best Use: Use on a tanky champion on Clan Boss or Faction Wars teams to keep squishy damage alive.
- Good On: Krisk
- Rating: B Tier: Decent for keeping a squishy champion alive in PvE. Make sure your champion is tanky enough to survive the extra redirected damage.
Darksmile’s Toast
- Best Use: On a solo champion with lots of Turn Meter boosting.
- Good On: Champions with multiple Turn Meter boosting skills.
- Rating: B Tier: A niche PvE solo option. Worth keeping a copy for some specific builds in the future.
CHAOS AWAKES
Tempus Morbidia
- Best Use: Food to power up better relics. Keep one copy just in case it gets buffed though.
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: D Tier: Used as food to power up better relics. Keep one copy just in case it gets buffed though.
Sinners’ Cloak
- Best Use: Tanky champions in PvE (in PvP, enemies stack too much Ignore Defence).
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: C Tier: If you have lots of HP and DEF, it’s decent damage reduction.
DISCOVERY
Thunderous Circlet
- Best Use: Food to power up better relics. Keep one copy just in case though.
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: C Tier: Might have some use for solo champions, but Golden Elixir is likely better in all cases.
Jaws of Hatred
- Best Use: Food to power up better relics.
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: D Tier: Not worth investing in at all.
FORGE PASS
Frostspawn Cocoon
- Best Use: Solo, Counterattack, or ally attack-paired champions (e.g. the TMNT passives!)
- Good On: Turtles!
- Rating: C Tier: Decent for a rare relic; could be very helpful for solo builds or early players keeping teams alive.
Pyros Malleos
- Best Use: Budget relic for any damage dealer.
- Good On: Michelangelo.
- Rating: C Tier: A filler damage relic which is easy to use but weaker than higher rarity options.
WINDS OF WINTER
Vigor Mortis
- Best Use: Great budget relic for PvE ATK-based damage dealers.
- Good On: Any PvE ATK-based damage dealer.
- Rating: C Tier: Great budget relic for PvE ATK-based damage dealers.
Sigil of the Akar
- Best Use: Budget relic for any support against bosses.
- Good On: Any PvE support.
- Rating: C Tier:Budget relic for any support against bosses.
CLAN RELICS

Murderfang
- Best Use: Decent option for Clan Boss champions with Counterattack, Ally Attack, etc.
- Good On: Lydia the Deathsiren, Kro’khad the Throatripper, Lady Mikage.
- Rating: A Tier: One of the weakest mythical relics. Lots of gems, but it’s a pity this doesn’t trigger off every skill.
Chrysalid of Rebirth
- Best Use: Amazing for any reviver!
- Good On: Starsage Galathir, Lady Noelle, Elva Autumnborn.
- Rating: SS Tier: A massive SPD stat plus an incredible effect. Best-in-slot for most revivers.
Essence Quencher
- Best Use: Solid general damage relic (one of the few good options for HP-based damage dealers).
- Good On: Wight King Narses, Taras the Fierce.
- Rating: S Tier: This is a great generic damage boost, and is a top option for HP-based damage dealers.
Temporal Stagnator
- Best Use: Champions with lockout who are not void affinity.
- Good On: Night Queen Krixia, Lord Entertainer Fabian, Alika.
- Rating: A Tier: Great on the right champions but incredibly niche.
Infernosphere
- Best Use: RES stat-stick for any high-RES builds.
- Good On: Ultimate Deathknight, Wight Queen Ankora.
- Rating: A Tier: The only accessible RES boosting relic for high RES builds.
Valkanen’s Grasp
- Best Use: Completing the damage reflection Trial in Chimera.
- Good On: Helicath, Niamhe, Spear of Nyresa.
- Rating: C Tier: A very small damage increase. Can be sneaky in arena or help with Fire Knight or the damage reflection Chimera Trials.
The Fleshrender
- Best Use: Food for levelling other relics.
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: D Tier: Used as food to power up better relics.
Blackshroud Fan
- Best Use:Food for levelling other relics.
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: D Tier: Used as food to power up better relics.
LIVE ARENA RELICS

Infernal Polytope
- Best Use: Tanky champions in arena, especially if they have Unkillable or Cheat Death mechanics.
- Good On: Starsage Galathir, Theodosia the Disgraced, Knave of Hearts.
- Rating: S Tier: Very powerful effect, though you need several ranks to trigger it consistently.
The Deathdealer
- Best Use: Ensuring your affinity-based debuffers don’t weak hit. Also strong on champions with crazy passives who don’t mind the downside.
- Good On: Rotos the Lost Groom, Lord Entertainer Fabian, Embrys the Anomaly.
- Rating: SS Tier: Avoiding weak hits for negative affinity matchups is game-changing for many champions, such as always landing your A3 on Fabian, or being able to reliably kill UDK on Rotos.
Harp of Kasbiel
- Best Use: Support champions with no active attacking skills.
- Good On: Lady Noelle, Authoratrix Lamasu.
- Rating: A Tier: A consistent amount of bonus turn meter for niche champions.
Ax Serpentis
- Best Use: Keep it in the vault and hope for a buff.
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: C Tier: Extremely niche and underpowered. The gem sockets are decent.
Preserved Aberration
- Best Use: Poisoners who do good direct damage as well. Note: Currently drastically overshadowed by the Arachnelixir relic.
- Good On: Nell Blackteeth, Supreme Kael, Balar the Lost.
- Rating: B Tier: Currently overshadowed by the Arachnelixir, but it’s a good damage boost on it’s own for the niche champions who can use it.
Moondeath Orchid
- Best Use: Backup damage for Bomb or Poison champions in arena (against high-RES enemies).
- Good On: Gnishak Verminlord, Gaius the Gleeful, Ramantu Drakesblood.
- Rating: C Tier: Too backloaded to ranks 5 and 6 to get good value.
Royal Digit
- Best Use: Use as food for levelling other relics.
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: D Tier: Used as food to power up better relics.
Draught of Ire
- Best Use:Use as food for levelling other relics.
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: D Tier: Used as food to power up better relics.
FACTION WARS RELICS

Torch of Thralldom
- Best Use: Faction Unity champions (especially damage dealers) since you’ll nearly always run them in a full faction team.
- Good On: Lady Mikage, Tetsuya the Deliverer, Legate Teox.
- Rating: S Tier: This gives an incredible boost to all stats, but is held back by the severe Faction restrictions.
Mind of Marquat
- Best Use: Live Arena champions, as it can’t be seen in Draft, and players will likely be unfamiliar with how to play against Fatigue.
- Good On: Lord Entertainer Fabian, Warlord, Tormin the Cold.
- Rating: S Tier: The unique Fatigue debuff can add a lot of control against enemies, though manual play is important to prevent champions waking up sleeping enemies.
Eternal Soulgaol
- Best Use: Keeping champions alive in Arena/Siege, Faction Wars, or Cursed City.
- Good On: Marichka the Unbreakable, Ultimate Deathknight.
- Rating: A Tier: Lots of damage mitigation, particularly for shorter fights.
The Collective
- Best Use: Arena damage dealers alongside buff champions going for a 1-shot strategy. Would be very strong alongside Titus if he wasn’t overpowered.
- Good On: Sun Wukong, Leorius the Proud.
- Rating: B Tier: A huge damage boost but it leaves your champion extremely vulnerable afterwards.
Hammer of Ending
- Best Use: Definitely a Faction Wars or Cursed City relic (enemies will often be tanky enough to survive a hit, and Stuns are incredibly useful).
- Good On: Elhain, Magnarr.
- Rating: B Tier: In most situations, you’d rather have your damage dealer just do more damage.
Perched Shadow
- Best Use: Either for support champions (e.g. Iudex Artor), or for HP damage dealers (e.g. Arix).
- Good On: Lady Mikage, Lydia the Deathsiren, Elva Autumnborn.
- Rating: S Tier: A great effect; very random but evens out over long fights. Think of it as a mini-Relentless set!
Arachnelixir
- Best Use: Every Poisoner with good ATK (e.g. Gnishak, Nell, etc.), but not otherwise.
- Good On: Kalvalax, Balar the Lost, Nell Blackteeth.
- Rating: SS Tier: Extremely overpowered relic compared to other rares (or, indeed, most relics in general) that adds a massive damage boost to Poisons (further multiplied by the Lethal Dose blessing). Expect roughly 300% more damage from your Poisons in Arena. We’d be surprised if this isn’t nerfed at some point, but it’s incredible on the relevant champions right now.
Codex Luminis
- Best Use: Keeping champions alive against negative affinity Dungeons or Clan Bosses on progression.
- Good On: N/A
- Rating: C Tier: Decent generic damage reduction.
GRIM FOREST RELICS

Lens of Intangibility
- Best Use: Damage dealers, particularly if they can provide themselves with Perfect Veil.
- Good On: Ninja, Predator, Marius.
- Rating: SS Tier: This is the best damage boosting relic in the game (so long as you do not exceed 100% Ignore DEF). The only downside is that you will need to bring another champion to provide Perfect Veil for champions who cannot provide it for themselves.
Coronet of Gloom
- Best Use: Damage Dealers, particularly if they have Revive in their kit.
- Good On: Lazarius, Yukimasa, Nais.
- Rating: SS Tier: A strong damage relic paired with a very powerful survivability effect. This will be extremely helpful for any reviver and/or damage dealer in difficult content where incoming damage is high!
Soulmar Crystal
- Best Use: A PvP reviver with either lots of Turn Meter on their Revive or powerful buffs tied to it (such as Block Damage or Unkillable for the team).
- Good On: Raglin, Theodosia.
- Rating: A Tier: Can catch enemies by surprise in PvP, or save you in a tricky Faction Wars stage.
Sporeburst Rod
Compass of Anaxia
- Best Use: A high RES reviver or support.
- Good On: Ankora
- Rating: B Tier: The effect is mediocre, but the stats and gem sockets are good for high-RES support builds.
Revolting Seedling
- Best Use: Any champion you are trying to keep alive (on a budget).
- Good On: Vogoth
- Rating: C Tier: A filler relic for tanky champions.
Steel-Eyed Cutter
- Best Use: Budget relic for any ATK-based damage dealer.
- Good On: Any ATK/Crit DPS.
- Rating: C Tier: The new best budget damage dealer relic for ATK nukers. Save Malefic Talon for HP nukers and use this instead for ATK ones if possible.
Hoarder’s Cauldron
- Best Use: Budget ACC boost for any debuffer.
- Good On: Any debuffer.
- Rating: C Tier: Budget relic for any debuffer, or even anyone who needs ACC. Great filler option until you have stronger ones.

Please – make the tier list an image map so we can just click on the relic and have it pull it up. This applies to all of these tier lists. You do it for champions!
what i would really love to see is after we search a champion, as we have recommendations for blessings, to also have recommendations for relics..its good that you have the list above to explain each one..but with so many champs in the game its very hard to guess which relic to choose.. :/
This is on infographics for some of the champions. I believe Nub is working on them, but I’m sure they take forever and there are tons to make. I’ve only seen it on one and I can’t remember who!
This new UI is an absolute downgrade.
this has to be the approximately worst possible format for this kind of list.
do us a favor and consider changing it
At least consider adding images of the relics, nobody remembers their names. Adding an image next to the name will help a lot.
Have i read it too fast? did i miss the section for leveling up and ranking up my relics? It’s easy when you have everything handy and can just click through and “Voila!” it’s done right? Yeah-BUT, i do not have everything and i do have several relics ( about 24 now ) and NONE of them will combine with others for ranking up, and if they do end up on the consume line, i cannot use the same relic more than once to rank up another relic even if its level and rank are the same. do you follow? nothing i’ve typed is pertaining to a new relic it pertains to the relics being used, just so it’s a bit more clear…
Anyways, there is no list on the interweb that i’ve seen, which will provide accurate relic consuming to increase the rank of your more precious relics. it’s kind of a guessing game, but i’ve seen what a wonderful list of available relics you have provided and i scream in my outside castle voice, “why will none of the other relics craft for me!”
% ages in the crafting table for relics seem like a whimsical yet tyrannical number set to distract you from what the rea numbers are. It placates you until you realize what you’ve missed out on since relics arrived. i keep getting the green dagger, red masks, unholy grails, and death bells. my rarest drop is a rod of blasphemy. NONE of these facilitate ranking up one another. I had 6 of that green dagger thinking i could rank one up twice.
No, you may not say the game. Not even Once says the game. You must use some other stuff says the game. Just stuff it says, no specifics.
It feels like fill in the blanks and the blanks are hidden from you as well.
CHEERS!!
TY ALL for the amazing website, legit SUPER HELPFUL all the time. And the community that you are helping is amazing as well. Insightful and helpful as well. Keep it up everyone.

PS i think a tigger would be dope! dont laugh, we all just suffered turtles for pete’s dragon’s sake. But Eyore would thrash with gloominess!
This needs to be updated for Grim Forest Relics
Not sure how this was missed and I know you can read it in the forge, but where is the actual description of the relic? You talk about stuff it can do and why it might be good but not the entire description.
So howling Guardians is S tier or B tier… on top with the pictures is S when you go to the relic is B… and a few more champions suggestions would be nice on… Good on:
