BIG REVEALS from Nub and Boozor’s Gameshow with Plarium!!

Our very own Nubkeks from Nub Raids was joined by fellow content creator Boozor and banana_jam, one of the community managers from Plarium, to play a fun quiz show about RAID: Shadow Legends.

In Part 1, we get 19 answers directly from Plarium regarding their plans for things like permanent Free Gear Removal, the next Faction, 24/7 Live Arena, and more…

1. Will Super Raids in the Minotaur's Labyrinth become permanent?

Plarium's Answer: YES.

Our Thoughts: The first surprise of the show and a very welcome one! This is such a great quality-of-life change for all players, saving half the time needed to grind masteries in Minotaur. We weren't massively surprised to hear this would be permanent, since it's such a highly demanded feature from players—but we're glad Plarium listened to us!

2. Will you introduce Chimera Quick Battles this year?

Plarium's Answer: NO, Chimera is still too new.

Our Thoughts: This is fair enough, considering it's still relatively new content and players are still developing Chimera teams. We'd expect Quick Battles for it eventually–perhaps later in 2026.

3. Will you add Quick battles to Doom Tower?

Plarium's Answer: NO, they want to optimise Doom Tower but it won't be Quick Battles.

Our Thoughts: This is a mild disappointment, but not a huge deal if they implement the ability to do Arena while doing Doom Tower Background Battles.

4. Will you do more Doom Tower bosses?

Plarium's Answer: NO, they like that players have completed Doom Tower and can feel it's one area of the game that they have fully beaten.

Our Thoughts: This is fair enough as well. There will be lots of new bosses in the future; it doesn't really matter whether they're part of Doom Tower or not—in fact, it might be better if they're not, since Doom Tower would, by design, lock them behind rotations.

5. Will you add the option to do Friendly Arena Battles?

Plarium's Answer: YES, but not in 2025!

Our Thoughts: This was a pleasant surprise, since we thought it would be a lot of work to implement! We're delighted though, since this is one of the top-requested features from players, and it opens up CCs to running community tournaments etc. This could be a huge win for the game and the community.

6. Will you add the ability to transform Champions into Chickens?

Plarium's Answer: SORT OF…? They're looking instead at the possibility of putting champions into your collection but not needing to "summon" them until later.

Our Thoughts: We think there is probably a lot of technical things happening behind the scenes here and we're not 100% sure what Plarium is intending: it sounds like it will be something like collecting lots of fragments for champions, where you "have" them but can choose when to actually add them to your champion storage? Weird, but it would save space in your vaults for sure.

7. Will there be a way to upgrade Champions more quickly in the Tavern?

Plarium's Answer: YES, expect QoL updates before the end of 2025.

Our Thoughts: They wouldn't share what the exact changes would be, so we'll have to wait and see.

8. Will you change Platinum Arena Reset times?

Plarium's Answer: YES.

Our Thoughts: This is great news, particularly for players in timezones far from the EU, where the current Platinum reset time can be in the middle of the night. Another change that has been highly requested by many players over the years.

9. Will you add offline battles for Background Battles?

Plarium's Answer: NO.

Our Thoughts: They feel like it pushes the game too much into non-game territory. From talking to the devs before, we could see this one coming, despite the convenience it would offer players.

10. Will you rebalance more champs per month or rebalance any epic champs?

Plarium's Answer: NO.

Our Thoughts: This was the biggest disappointment of the call for sure. They have no plans to increase the number of rebalances, and therefore won't touch epics or rares. More rebalancing has been highly requested by players for a long time, but Plarium doesn't seem keen to do more.

11. Will you add more clan management tools for Siege?

Plarium's Answer: MAYBE…?

Our Thoughts: They agree that there needs to be more tools in game, but there is nothing coming in the next few months. We're guessing that they're trying to gather data after the most recent changes to Siege, and that there will likely be an update sometime in 2026 on this.

12. Will you add Void Mythicals in 2025?

Plarium's Answer: NO.

Our Thoughts: We're totally OK with this. We're sure they'll be added eventually, but many players haven't even pulled a regular mythical yet, so what's the rush? We'd rather see more Primal shards or Remnant Summons first, so players can actually get mythicals rather than just look at them longingly in the Index.

13. Will you add more Clan activities?

Plarium's Answer: MAYBE…?

Our Thoughts: They know there's lots of requests for this, but they're still gathering data: they want players to leave suggestions for what they'd like to see; and they're cautious about adding too much Clan PvP to the game.

14. Will you add Bastion customisation?

Plarium's Answer: NO.

Our Thoughts: This is fair enough, since it would take major work to let players customise the look of their Bastion. Luckily, they confirmed that there would be lots more event-themed Bastions in the future!

15. Will you add more Player Profile customization?

Plarium's Answer: YES, but not in 2025.

Our Thoughts: They didn't have much to share here, so we'll have to wait and see what comes in 2026.

16. Will you add Gear Filters per level of gear? (e.g. show only unrolled gear)

Plarium's Answer: YES, there will be lots of updates in the future.

Our Thoughts: We were hoping for a yes here and were happy to get it! There's lots of little QoL changes they could make to gear filters, so it's great to hear they will be continually working on it.

17. Will Live Arena ever be available 24/7?

Plarium's Answer: YES, early 2026!

Our Thoughts: WOW! This one shocked us!! It's great news too; no more getting stuck on daily quests because you missed the Live Arena window. The big question for us is what matchmaking and queue times will look like now that players can play any time.

18. Will you make Free Gear Removal permanent?

Plarium's Answer: YES, coming in the next update!!

Our Thoughts: WOW!! Another shocker!! Considering that in the last CC/Dev chat, Plarium were on the fence about changing this, it's a BIG change from them based on player feedback. This will make tackling many big manual challenges in the game (like Amius, Hydra, Faction Wars Hard, etc.) much easier! The downside here is that players might feel pressure to constantly use gear presets (we've seen such complaints regularly in other games where gear swapping is free) but it's worth that cost we think.

19. Is the new Faction going to be water-themed?

Plarium's Answer: NO… But it's coming at the beginning of 2026, and it will be Greco-Roman themed!

Our Thoughts: Greco-Roman is a sick theme for a faction and we're really excited to see what the champions look like! There are tons of Gods, gladiators, myths, art, and even philosophy to draw on to create some very cool designs. Stay tuned for Part 2 tomorrow where we will get a sneak peak of one new champion!
