Sulfuryion Overview

Rising from the ashes of volcanic eruption, this pyroclastic lizard seeks to burn the Tainted Skavag! Sulfuryion is a Legendary Support champion from the Lizardmen Faction.

The core mechanics of this pyro tactician is to burn his enemies to the ground, and utilises unique forms of Turn Meter manipulation & protection to keep your team flowing. Opening with the Blazing Barrier [A2], he places a HP Burn debuff on all enemies for 3 turns, then will instantly detonate any HP Burn debuffs, followed by placing a Shield Buff on allies based on the damage inflicted from the detonation [this cannot exceed 25k HP]. While referring to content such as the Spiders, or simply the Hydra Boss, the value of this synergy can fetch insane damage potentials over the course of a battle, whilst also supporting your team in the process.

The pyroclastic Boon passive really gels this champions kit together. This all comes to fruition via 5% Turn Meter boosts on all allies for each HP Burn placement, followed by a 5% heal based on their MAX HP when Burns are activated [which is brought down to 1% when facing the Spider Dungeon stages]. When HP Burn’s are removed from enemies Sulfuryion will place a Decrease Resistance on those enemies, then also grants a self 20% Turn Meter fill when allies are killed by targets under Burn, followed by increasing his Speed by 7 for each active Burn on enemies. The core synergy of this passive can provide great forms of support throughout many encounters to cycle your teams turns efficiently.

The Volcanic Rend default skill will fill this Champion’s Turn Meter by 15%, however when attacking targets under HP Burn he will also fill the Turn Meters of allies by 10%. Last but not least, the A3 is a strong full team revive skill as he revives them with 50% HP & 40% Turn Meter, followed by an Extra Turn to instantly support them with the Shield on the A2.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive
