Godforge Beta 2 Event: Pantheon Wars
Godforge Beta 2 will be rolling out with a new community event called Pantheon Wars. It’s a competitive event built around your Pantheon, with leaderboards, exclusive rewards and the ability to pitch yourself against Chronos. If you remember the free-to-play challenges from Raid: Shadow Legends, it follows a similar idea, and this time the Fateless team are joining in themselves. Here’s how Pantheon Wars works, what you can win, and how to get ready for it.
How Pantheon Wars Works

The event doesn’t start straight away. The first week of Beta 2 has no competition, so you can play at your own pace. Get through the new campaign, unlock dungeons and set up your farming, the same way a new player would.
Competition starts in the second week, once dungeons and the arena are open. From then on, two leaderboards track your progress:
- Solo ladder: You earn points from progress across the game. That includes your best Pantheon boss score on each affinity, your arena rank and how far you’ve pushed in dungeons. The more you play, the higher you climb.
- Pantheon leaderboard: This adds up the scores of members in your Pantheon. Having a group of active players matters as much as your own account, so recruit well. Plenty of Pantheons are already recruiting on the Godforge Discord.
Fateless vs the Community
The Fateless team will be playing Pantheon Wars on fresh accounts, while players carry over their Beta 1 accounts with all heroes gained from that beta. That should make for a fairly even fight.
The devs are splitting into two Pantheons. One is for their more competitive players, the other is “just in it for fun” (not everyone at Fateless is a hardcore gacha player). Team Fateless accounts are marked on the leaderboards and can’t win prizes, so they won’t take a reward spot from anyone, but you can still see how you stack up against them.
Pantheon Wars Rewards

You don’t need to finish at the top to get something out of Pantheon Wars. Rewards carry into early access, on top of anything you’ve already earned from the alpha and Beta 1.
- 1,000 Rubies for every player who plays at least 5 days during the event.
- An exclusive Chronos coin for the top 25 Pantheons.
- An exclusive portrait and title for the top 3 Pantheons. These won’t be available again.
- Tokens of Valor for everyone, carrying on from Beta 1. They unlock an exclusive Tokens of Valor store in early access.
The Rubies are the easy win. Log in on 5 days and they’re yours.
Chronos and the Pantheon Changes

Every Pantheon now starts with 40 member slots. The old system, where you increased member size by levelling your Pantheon, was removed after player feedback. Levelling still gives you advantages, just not member space, so you can fill out a full roster from day one.
The Pantheon boss for the event is Chronos, and he works differently to the bosses you might be used to. He has no health bar. Damage fills a meter called the Epoch, and your score comes from how far you push it. His affinity changes daily and his kit shifts slightly with it, so you’re chasing your best score on each affinity, not just one.
Without a health bar, it’s not clear yet how effects like Bleed and Max HP damage will work against him. That could change how heroes like Dracula and Cizin are valued for this fight. Each version of Chronos comes with a guide. For the version we’ve seen, shields, barriers, intercept and debuff removal all look useful, and Heimdall is a hero I rate highly here. Use that first week to work out which heroes you want to max out before scoring starts.
Sign Up for the Beta Diary
If you want to help shape Godforge, this is the Beta Diary is best thing you can do during Beta 2. Fateless are looking for 200 players to join the Beta Diary. It’s a short survey emailed to you each day, and your answers go straight to the team making decisions for the next version of the game. You’ll also get early access rewards as a thank you.
It’s aimed at players who plan to play every day, so if that’s you, sign up here: https://mailchi.mp/5b1ae2514a01/xl5mt…
One important thing. The sign-up is double opt-in. After you register, you’ll get an email asking you to confirm your address, and you’re not signed up until you click that confirmation link. Check your inbox straight after signing up, and check your spam or promotions folder if it doesn’t show up. If you skip this step, you won’t receive the surveys (or the rewards).
Closing Thoughts
Pantheon Wars gives Beta 2 a goal beyond pushing through the campaign. Whether you’re going for a top 3 finish or just picking up the 1,000 Rubies, it’s worth getting your Pantheon sorted early and having a plan for Chronos.
