The Lifesteal set is a 4-piece Artifact set that grants Healing by 30% of damage dealt. Due to not having Provoke accessories, you can only have one full set on a champion. However this set is great through all stages of the game in both PvP and PvE.
You will find this set in Stage 8 of the Campaign (Valdemar Strait) and in the Dragon dungeon. This set is game changing in the early game, helping keep your damage dealers like Kael alive until you find some of the better supports. You might keep it for a bit of the mid game but your account will eventually stop relying on this set. It is primarily used on damage dealers and your farmer, due to supports not getting a good enough return from the heal to warrant wearing it. You can still use strong individual pieces as off-set gear when stats matter more than set bonuses.
Lifesteal is the base version of the Bloodthirst set. Both give the same heal from damage but Bloodthirst adds Crit rate, so it will replace Lifesteal gear once you gain access to it. For this set to shine, we would advise that you place it on a unit that has a lot of AoE such as your starter. As you progress if the unit you are using it on has an AoE basic ability, even better.
