Mercurial Artifact Set

The Mercurial set is a 9-piece variable artifact set that grants a variety of things. You can stack up to 9 pieces for +40 RES, +15% HP, +32% SPD, 1 Total Guard stack / round, 2 Total Guard stacks / round, 3 Total Guard stacks / round + one stack per turn. Great in PvP.

This set is available from the Grim Forest. An alternative to Stoneskin, this offers a new buff, Total Guard, which blocks an incoming hit and all its related effects and debuffs effects (aside from Increase Skill Cooldowns). 9-piece is the goal for this set, since this enables champions to regenerate 1 Total Guard stack at the start of their turn if they have 0 at the time; this makes it the strongest defensive set for PvP in the game for 2026! (Note that bosses ignore Total Guard, so it is far less useful against them). You can still use strong individual pieces as off-set gear when stats matter more than set bonuses.

Like most variable sets, Mercurial is quite unique. Some of the bases stats can be gathered from other sets but not the full compliment that this set provides. As mentioned it is available from the most recent PvE content so harder to get than other sets. But it will replace some of your more basic gear once you gain access to this set.
