Of course, we do not have ‘Official Confirmation’ however there are lots of rumours surrounding a new Login-Champion coming very soon (This month!)
Paired with the Surprise Content Drop that Content Creators received earlier this week, leads us to believe that we might have a very cool new addition to our rosters very soon!
The following message was sent via in-game mail:
It seems my fated arrival is fast approaching. Well, a wise man once said that there are only three things in this world that cannot be hidden for long. The sun, the moon, and of course, me!
I await your spirited speculation, and hope to see you soon.
Yours in trust,
This fits further into a previous theory from the sneak peek images that Content Creators got earlier this week, which appear to be armour which is very resemblant to the ‘Monkey King- Sun Wukong’.
Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King, is a legendary figure in Chinese mythology and literature. He is one of the central characters in the classic Chinese novel “Journey to the West” (Xiyouji), written by Wu Cheng’en during the Ming Dynasty in the 16th century.
Sun Wukong is a mischievous and powerful monkey born from a stone who acquires incredible abilities through Taoist practices and gains immortality. He possesses immense strength, the ability to transform into various forms, and can even travel vast distances with his cloud-walking skills. Additionally, he wields a magical staff known as the Ruyi Jingu Bang, which can change its size and weight according to his will.
However, his arrogance and rebellious nature lead him to challenge the gods and cause havoc in heaven. After being defeated by the Jade Emperor, the ruler of heaven, Sun Wukong is imprisoned under a mountain for 500 years. Eventually, he is released to accompany the monk Tripitaka on a journey to India to retrieve Buddhist scriptures, as part of his penance and to atone for his actions.
Throughout the epic journey, Sun Wukong displays both heroic and comedic characteristics, protecting his companions with his extraordinary abilities while also getting into humorous predicaments. He proves to be a loyal and reliable protector to Tripitaka and the other pilgrims.
Sun Wukong’s adventurous spirit, bravery, and cleverness have made him an enduring and beloved character in Chinese culture. His tale has been adapted into various forms of media, including movies, TV shows, and comics, and he remains a prominent symbol of Chinese folklore and mythology.
