Duchess Lilitu Overview

This demonized queen of the underworld holds the power to restore life to her fallen allies – but those revived are bound to her for eternity. Behind the eerie purple glow of her wings lie the souls of those who once betrayed her, now ready to be unleashed as a barrier to absorb the attacks meant for her. Duchess Lilitu is a Legendary champion from the Demonspawn faction.

Duchess has stood the test of time as one of the best support legendaries in the game, offering a mix of buffs, revivals and damage reduction to keep your team alive. Opening with Shroud of Souls, she places Block Debuffs and Increase Attack on all allies, along with Perfect Veil on everyone except herself. This ability is universally strong – whether enabling survivability, countering the Head of Torment, or simply boosting ally damage while blocking harmful effects.

Perfect Veil also reduces incoming AOE damage by 15%, which pairs perfectly with her passive that further reduces AOE damage taken by 25%, or 15% against bosses. Whether in PvE or PvP, Duchess excels at making your team significantly harder to bring down throughout the fight. Additionally, allies under Veil cannot be targeted by single target attacks, making it much harder for enemies to focus down your more vulnerable champions.

Duchess is also a strong reviver – her A3 brings back all fallen allies, places Veil on them for protection, and applies a Continuous Heal to help restore their health. While regular Veil only offers a 7.5% damage reduction, it still helps protect revived allies from single target attacks, giving them a better chance to recover and re-join the fight. Lastly, her A1 places a Shield buff on your most vulnerable ally, adding an extra layer of support.

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
