Fatalis’s skills are revolved around inflicted damage to your foe, and ignoring conditions to greater the chance of killing your targets. Opening with the Strong Wide Slash [A3], this always critical AOE attack will ignore 15% of their Defence, whilst decreasing their Defence by 5% [stacks up to 30%]. Outside of the damage potential, this will perform like the Cruelty blessing, with a 10% stronger value once optimised against bosses. Leading in to the Wide Slash [A2], this attack ignores many protective buffs, whilst decreasing your target’s attack by 5% [stacks up to 30%]. In the Arena, your opposition may be heavily buffed with these forms of protection, therefore ignoring these will greater your chance of taking them down.

Fatalis’s secret skill is the hardest hitting ability from his kit, as he ignores 50% of defence, and ignores any damage reduction effects or masteries, except by the Passive skills of Bosses. This won’t just be strong for Arena, but also for slaying bosses, although it’s worth noting you cannot increase this damage by either his Masteries or ally Passive skills, except when attacking Bosses. Not being able to receive any critical hits is incredibly powerful, and that’s exactly what his passive brings to the table. At the start of each turn Fatalis will place a Shield on himself, and being a HP champion will allow you to optimise its value, making it tough for enemies to take him down!
