Kerin the Harvester Overview

Deep within the sewers of Arnoc dwells the bee whisperer, who once cut a branch from a sacred tree to craft his staff – unaware it housed a hidden hive within. The honey stored at its core attracted some of the deadliest bees in Teleria, who now serve whoever they deem worthy to protect their hive. In an instant, Kerin can unleash them upon his enemies, their stingers laced with a potent toxin that puts foes to sleep. Kerin the Harvester is a Support Legendary from the Lizardmen faction.

Kerin’s skill set focuses on crowd control, manipulating enemy cooldowns, Turn Meter, and Speed. Opening with Sleepstingers [A3], this AoE attack places a Sleep debuff on all enemies, can bypass Block Debuffs, and grants him an extra turn. Whether you’re tackling PvE waves, putting the Sand Devil to sleep, or controlling Arena threats like Siphi who apply Block Debuffs, this is a valuable skill when Sleep is needed. The active part of Kerin’s passive instantly triggers his A2 on any enemy whose Sleep expires without taking damage – creating a chain of cooldown and Turn Meter control.

The A2 not only puts a single target’s skills on full cooldown but also decreases the Turn Meter of all enemies – by 15% if they’re under Sleep, or 30% if they’re not. Since it targets only one enemy, it avoids waking others from Sleep, while still pushing back their Turn Meter to help you outpace them. While this pairs well with his A3 for controlling enemy waves, it can also be used effectively against bosses like the Dark Fae and Fire Knight – especially with an A1 that steals Turn Meter and places Decrease Speed on all enemies.

Additionally, Kerin can passively decrease the value of enemy Turn Meter fill effects by 25%, adding even more speed control. Overall, he’s a niche crowd control champion but can truly shine in areas like Siege, Arena, faction limited content, and bosses such as the Eternal Dragon – Anywhere crowd control, speed manipulation, or skill cooldown control are key.

Arena Roles

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
