Komidus Darksmile Overview

Referred to as the Master of Manipulation, this Mythic legend from the Demonspawn Faction uses his ancient powers to vanquish foes. Komidus Darksmile is a Mythical Champion known for his skill manipulation and Turn Meter effects, later transforming into a bomb specialist.

BASE FORM
As a mythical champion, Komidus Darksmile can switch between two Metamorphs, each with a distinct set of abilities. In his base form, the Skill Dominator [A2] Removes all Buffs from enemies and blocks them from using their Active Skills, then steals 20% Turn Meter from each enemy affected. This ability is great for locking enemies down to their default skills, and allows Komidus to cycle through his abilities faster. In addition, Komidus can Steal 100% of a target’s Turn Meter [A3], then puts their Skills on Cooldown, making him ideal for controlling bosses such as The Dark Fae or Fire Knight, and preventing targets in Arena from using their active effects. If an enemy dares to attack Komidus [P], he retaliates by dealing damage equal to 30% of his MAX HP, then Shields himself for protection. Lastly, his Dark Decree [A1] Decreases a target’s Defence by 2% per hit (up to 20%) and steals 10% Turn Meter on each hit.

ALTERNATE FORM
Transforming into a Bomb Specialist, Komidus gains a set of skills that even Bommal fears. This champion always has the last laugh [P], as enemies who try to place bombs on him will have them deflected back, and he also has a 30% chance to deflect other debuffs, followed by healing himself by 20% for enemies killed by bombs. The most effective uses for this would be slaying Bommal the Dreadhorn or countering enemies such as Gaius The Gleeful in Arena. Komidus also places Bomb debuffs on enemies [A2], which will instantly detonate on targets under Stoneskin or enemies with less HP, followed by stunning them. This can destroy tanky defences in Arena, especially when opening with the Weaken [A3], which amplifies his bomb damage. Lastly, he can heal himself by 50%, and his [A1] grants extra attempts to place Bombs.

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
