Taras and Marichka Progressive Summons Event
Plarium has just announced that this weekend we will have a one-day Progressive Summons Event giving us the opportunity to add Taras and Marichka to our accounts!
Whilst yes, they are INCREDIBLY top-tier Champions for nearly all areas of the game, most notably the arena, it is important to note that this could be a massive bait to push people to use their shards ahead of events for Odin, Freyja and the upcoming Fusion for Thor Faehammer.
Let’s check out Plarium’s announcement…
Plarium Announcement
Hey folks!
This Saturday, August 24th, we’re launching a special Progressive Chance Event, giving you at least x15 chance to summon Taras the Fierce and Marichka the Unbreakable from Void Shards.
This event will last 24 hours.
Are Taras and Marichka worth going for?
Anybody who has come up against this fearsome duo will know they are in with a shout for being some of the most impactful Arena Champions in the game, plain and simple, stand-alone they work incredibly well, but when paired together they are truly a force to be reckoned with.
Marichka is an incredibly powerful support who will help to sustain your team for long periods and fear not, if they do die, when she dies she will bring them all back to life again, giving you another shot at wiping out your enemies.
Taras is just a monstrous HP-based Nuker who is incredibly hard to kill, his damage scales from the number of buffs he has on him as well as his HP, so be sure to run him paired with lots of buffs (Marichka brings several, but extra buffers is always fun to see crazy high numbers!) Taras also brings a large amount of control with his passive that places [Fear] on Orcs, Ogryn Tribes, Undead Hordes, and Demonspawn enemies at the start of the battle and his A2 which brings a 2-turn [Stun] debuff!
Overall, if you do not have this duo, yes absolutely they are worth going for – BUT is it worth it right now with the exciting events coming up to get some of the Asgard Divide Champions? That’s a decision you will need to make for yourself, as every account is different.
It’s also very worth remembering that this event does not increase the chances of getting a legendary from your Void Shards, it will remain at 0.5% per shard, with a mercy system kicking in after 200 Shards without a Legendary, and even then, you might not get lucky enough to land one of these two powerhouses!
