Who Is the Best Starter Hero in Invokers: Titan Legacy?

One of the first big choices you make in Invokers: Titan Legacy is picking your starter Invoker.

It looks like a simple decision. It isn’t.

You can choose between Dannos, Selisa, Kalix, Silanth and Malgar. Each brings a different playstyle and set of skills. Your choice will shape your opening Campaign progression and your first steps into other areas of the game.

We’ve compared all five starters, their kits, current community rankings and player testing.

Our verdict is clear.

Dannos is our pick for the best starter Invoker in Invokers: Titan Legacy.

Selisa comes close and makes a great choice for players who prefer ranged combat. Silanth brings some useful early progression tools too.

Let’s break down all five.

1st: Dannos – The Best Starter in Invokers

Dannos-Invokers-Titan-Legacy

Class: Melee Attacker

HH Gaming Ranking: #1

Dannos is the starter we recommend for most players.

His biggest strength comes from how much he can do without asking the rest of your team for help.

Dannos combines strong direct damage with Weaken and Shock.

Weaken increases the damage received by the affected enemy. Shock provides powerful control by preventing the target from moving or attacking. Shocked enemies take increased incoming attack damage too.

That gives Dannos damage, control and a way to increase the damage dealt by his team.

Sacral Spike

Sacral Spike is a big part of Dannos’ appeal.

Dannos charges through enemies and applies Shock to targets caught by the attack.

This serves two jobs at once. Dannos deals damage and repositions himself across the battlefield.

That mobility has real value in the active combat system used by Invokers.

Winds of Serenity

Dannos’ Ultimate makes his case even stronger.

Winds of Serenity attacks up to eight enemies around Dannos eight times across two seconds. His damage increases based on his current HP.

More importantly, Dannos can move during the skill.

Invokers uses real-time combat. Boss attacks, positioning and enemy mechanics can force you to move at short notice.

Dannos can keep dealing damage without locking himself into one location.

Why Is Dannos Our Best Starter?

Dannos gives a new account almost everything we want.

He can clear groups of enemies. He can fight bosses. He controls dangerous targets and helps the rest of your team deal more damage.

He doesn’t need a dedicated Burn composition or several debuffs already placed on his target.

You can simply put him into your team and start progressing.

That makes Dannos a very safe place to invest your early resources.

HH Gaming Verdict: Pick Dannos if you want the strongest all-round start.

2nd: Selisa – The Best Ranged Starter

Selisa-Invokers-Titan-Legacy

Class: Ranged Attacker

HH Gaming Ranking: #2

Don’t fancy starting with a melee character?

Selisa is our preferred ranged option.

She brings an excellent package of debuffs and Crowd Control.

Selisa can apply DEF Down, Move SPD Down and Stun.

DEF Down stands out from the group. Reducing an enemy’s Defense doesn’t just increase Selisa’s damage. Your other damage dealers benefit from the effect too.

That gives Selisa natural value as your roster starts growing.

Eternal Pack

Her Ultimate, Eternal Pack, attacks multiple enemies around its target and can apply Stun.

This gives Selisa a strong control tool against groups of enemies.

She can stay at range too, which some players will find easier during their first experience with Invokers’ real-time combat.

Why Isn’t Selisa First?

Dannos is more self-contained.

Selisa’s debuffs become stronger once you have other damage dealers ready to exploit them. Dannos can create his own openings through Shock and then deal the damage himself.

The gap between them isn’t huge.

Players who prefer ranged combat can pick Selisa without worrying about making a poor starter choice.

HH Gaming Verdict: Pick Selisa if you want a ranged starter with strong control and team utility.

3rd: Silanth – The Debuff Specialist

Silanth-Invokers-Titan-Legacy

Class: Melee Attacker

HH Gaming Ranking: #3

Silanth is where the starter discussion becomes more interesting.

She brings strong offensive stats alongside RES Down, Launch and Bleed.

RES Down helps your team land debuffs. Bleed provides extra damage, and Launch gives Silanth another form of enemy control.

Her kit becomes stronger as more debuffs appear on the enemy.

Sanguine Thorns

Silanth’s Ultimate, Sanguine Thorns, attacks multiple enemies twice.

Its damage increases for each debuff already placed on the target.

The game plan is simple. Load enemies with debuffs and then hit them with Sanguine Thorns.

That gives Silanth good potential against Campaign waves and groups of enemies.

Why Is Silanth Third?

Her damage asks for more setup than our first two choices.

Dannos brings immediate damage and control. Selisa brings DEF Down, which fits naturally into many early teams.

Silanth wants several debuffs already active to get the most from her Ultimate.

She remains a strong choice. She just asks the player to build around her kit more than Dannos does.

HH Gaming Verdict: A strong Campaign starter with good AoE potential. Dannos and Selisa offer an easier start.

4th: Kalix – The Burn Specialist

Kalix-Invokers-Titan-Legacy

Class: Ranged Attacker

HH Gaming Ranking: #4

Kalix offers something quite different from our top three.

Her kit centres around Burn.

Burn deals damage based on the target’s MAX HP and creates a Damage Zone around the affected enemy. Kalix can apply ATK Down too.

That gives her both damage and a way to reduce the threat posed by enemies.

Duality of Light

Her Ultimate, Duality of Light, interacts with Burn to create Kalix’s main damage combination.

You apply Burns, prepare your targets and then turn those effects into more damage.

It’s a fun mechanic and gives Kalix a clear identity from the start.

Why Is Kalix Fourth?

Her specialisation holds her back for our starter ranking.

A fresh account doesn’t have a developed roster built around Burn.

We want our first Invoker to perform across as many encounters as possible without needing a particular team around them.

Kalix becomes much more interesting once you have the characters required to build around her Burn mechanics.

HH Gaming Verdict: A fun ranged starter with strong Burn potential, but not our first choice for a new account.

5th: Malgar – The Pure Damage Option

Malgar-Invokers-Titan-Legacy

Class: Melee Attacker

HH Gaming Ranking: #5

Someone has to finish fifth, but that doesn’t make Malgar a bad Invoker.

Malgar has a straightforward job.

He hits things.

His kit brings Launch for control and Combo SPD Up for himself.

The Obliterator

His Ultimate, The Obliterator, attacks multiple enemies around him and then grants Malgar Combo SPD Up.

The problem isn’t his ability to deal damage.

It’s everything surrounding that damage.

Dannos brings Shock and Weaken. Selisa brings DEF Down and Stun. Silanth brings RES Down and Bleed. Kalix brings ATK Down and Burn.

Malgar gives the rest of your team fewer tools.

That starts becoming more noticeable once enemies become tougher.

HH Gaming Verdict: Malgar can hit hard, but the other starters bring more to a fresh account.

So, Who Should You Pick in Invokers?

For most new players, we recommend picking Dannos.

He gives you the best mixture of damage, AoE attacks, Crowd Control and team utility.

His mobile Ultimate fits the real-time combat system very well. Shock gives him another powerful tool for controlling enemies and increasing damage.

Pick Selisa if you prefer ranged characters.

DEF Down gives her plenty of team value, and her Crowd Control helps manage groups of enemies.

Silanth takes third place. Her AoE damage and debuff interactions give her plenty of early potential.

Kalix and Malgar remain playable choices. Picking either won’t ruin your account. We simply rate the other three higher for starting progression.
