What Decrease Accuracy Does in Raid

How Decrease Accuracy Works
Decrease ACC lowers an enemy’s ACC stat.
Whenever a champion attempts to place a debuff or negative effect, they must pass an ACC vs RES check. When a champion’s ACC equals their target’s RES they have around a 90% success chance; if they have around 25 ACC more than the target’s RES, it is around 95%; if the target has 100 RES more than their ACC, they only have a 10% success chance.
Lowering enemy ACC makes it easier for allied champions to resist debuffs consistently by lowering the amount of RES they need to win this check.
This debuff indirectly increases the effectiveness of an entire team rather than dealing damage itself.
RES vs ACC Examples
Early game bosses (e.g. Dragon 20) have around 200 ACC.
You would normally require 305 RES to reliably resist debuffs. If a Decrease ACC champion goes first however, lowering the Dragon’s ACC to 100, then you would only need 205 RES.
Against Hard 10 Dragon, the Dragon has 330 ACC. You would normally need 435 RES on your champions here. However, if a Decrease ACC champion goes first, you would only need 323 RES–a much more achievable target.
Why Decrease Accuracy Champions Are Valuable

Improving Team Survivability
Reducing enemy Accuracy lowers the number of harmful debuffs that land–or potentially eliminates them entirely.
This is partiucularly valuable for champions who can Remove Debuffs: protecting them from debuffs leaves them safe and in a position to remove them from your teammates.
It is also valuable for healers or revivers: by avoiding nasty debuffs like Stuns or Decrease DEF, you can drastically increase their survivability, which in turn will let these champions keep your team going.
Valuable for Hydra, Chimera, and other Tough Bosses
Hydra heads and Chimera Forms apply numerous–potentially run ending–debuffs throughout a battle.
Decrease ACC can help reduce incoming debuff pressure by letting your team resist them, especially when paired with Increase RES.
This is not absolutely mandatory, but it is often the best strategy to avoid the most difficult mechanics of a fight and to make Clan Boss Quick Battles much more consistent.

Dilgol

Dilgol is a great accessible rare option for the Decrease ACC debuff. Although it isn’t 100% chance to land, the double hit gives it great potential–and he’s void affinity, so no affinity weak hits. He has great single-target Decrease DEF and Decrease SPD debuffs too, making him an amazing early-game generalist!
Thorn Golem

Bowf the Rancid

Psylar

Mighty Ukko

Mighty Ukko brings tremendous buff control through his passive and A2, as well as a team revive on his A3. His A2 combines Decrease ACC with Block Buffs, two great debuffs for drastically limiting the power of enemies in both PvP and PvE. The only downside is that they need to have no buffs after his A2 for him to place these debuffs.
Bambus Fourleaf

Bambus Fourleaf is a fantastic champion after his buff, bringing Increase ACC and Increase ATK on his A3 alongside Decrease ACC and Decrease ATK against bosses–swapping the Decrease ATK for Enfeeble against champions. This is an immense amount of value in a single move, and the rest of his kit does a lot too. Definitely a top quality champion for many encounters, shining in Grim Forest, Hydra, and Chimera!
Yoshi the Drunkard

Firrol the Barkhorn

Firrol is a Clan Boss specialist, providing huge value to teams in longer boss fights. He combines Decrease ACC and Decrease RES in one kit, plus boosts your RES with his passive, making it incredibly easy to resist any enemy. His 20% damage boost passive is the cherry on top, securing him a place in many end-game teams.
Bayek

Klaazag Keyhulk

Klaazag is one of the best boss killers in the entire game, and he brings Decrease RES alongside Decrease ACC, Decrease DEF, and Weaken. His debuffs cannot be resisted by bosses, giving him a 100% success rate at landing the debuff regardless of anything–normally there is always a 3% chance for a RES regardless of how much more ACC you have. He brings an amazing A3 as well and good damage output, making him S-tier for Chimera in particular.
How to Build Decrease Accuracy Champions

Accuracy Requirements
Champions applying Decrease ACC need enough ACC to land the debuff.
Check the Raid Stages Tool to see what RES enemies have for any fight in the game: your Decrease ACC champion should have enough ACC to pass the RES check.
Speed Requirements
Decrease ACC champions should have enough SPD to be faster than the boss you are fighting. This ensures the debuff is placed before the boss tries to place any debuffs on you.
Compared to other debuffs, SPD is less important here. Ideally, you should still build enough to maintain full uptime though; such as taking 3 turns for every 2 the boss takes if you have a 2-turn Decrease ACC debuff on a 3-turn cooldown.
Recommended Artifact Sets
Good sets for these champions boost SPD, ACC, or give cooldown reduction:
- Perception
- Speed
- Relentless
- Reflex
- Feral

Best Areas to Use Decrease Accuracy
Hydra
Hydra is the best place in the game to use Decrease ACC. With 4 Heads all attempting to place debuffs or nasty effects, you can gain a lot of value.
For example, resisting the Head of Mischief trying to Steal your buffs and Turn Meter will make the fight much easier.
Instead of trying to outheal the Poisons from the Head of Blight, you can simply resist them instead.
Try to save your debuff when Heads are Decapitated, then apply it on freshly respawned Heads to ensure maximum uptime.
Chimera
Chimera is another good fight for this debuff.
The main downside here is that the Chimera removes all debuffs when it changes Forms, so your uptime will be limited.
Crucially, this means you cannot have this debuff up to help resisting the Viper Form’s first Steal Buffs attempt.
That being said, this debuff will help you resist everything else the Chimera does, making the fight much less dangerous.
Grim Forest
One of the big tricks to beating Grim Forest is to always pick RES in the stat cards and to try to resist all the bosses’ and tricky enemies’ debuffs and effects.
Decrease ACC will make this much easier, particularly for newer players who can’t build agood RES base to start with.
