Romero

Romero is the Romeo to our Julliet (Juliana) He vows to protect his lover and with a shiny suit of armour defeat any foe that crosses his path!

He is a Force affinity epic from the Sacred Order faction. Romero is an old school epic with fairly weak utility and damage. He should be built like a tank that offers support to your team. His shield ability on his A3 has some use against Borgoth in Doom Tower however he would need to be paired with another who can do a shield as his is on a long cooldown. In early to mid-game Romero can be annoying to beat in Arena but he falls off a cliff in the late game!

In October 2022 he received a buff so his a2 Succor has had its Cooldown reduced from 5 to 4. When booked it will go down to a 3 turn Cooldown which helps a lot! Then his a3 Divine Benefaction has had its Cooldown reduced to 5 and now he gives himself the big Increase DEF buff which is much better for the champion than the weaker version making him more viable.

Dropping these Cooldowns massively boost this champion’s potential!

Places a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff on all allies for 2 turns. Steal 1 buff from a random enemy.
Level 2: Cooldown -1

Places a [Shield] buff on all allies equal to 25% of their MAX HP for 2 turns. Places a 60% [Increase DEF] buff on this champion for 2 turns.
Level 2: Shield +25%
Level 3: Shield +25%
Level 4: Cooldown -1

Attacks all enemies 3 times. Only available when Juliana is on the same team.
