Cruel Set

2-piece bonus

ATK +15% and Ignores 5% of enemy DEF
FULL SET
(2 PCS)
ATK +15% and Ignores 5% of enemy DEF

The Cruel set is a 2 piece artifact set that grants a +15% ATK and Ignores 5% of enemy DEF. You can stack up to three sets on one champion for a total of +45% ATK and 15% ignore enemy DEF.

This set is one of the rewards for defeating the Demon Lord. This set has maintained high value even into 2026 due to being the only 2-piece set to give Ignore Defence, combining well with 6-piece Merciless. The Zeal set from Live Arena is generally stronger, but is much more difficult to obtain. You can still use strong individual pieces as off-set gear when stats matter more than set bonuses.

Cruel set is both an upgrade of a set and a downgrade. It is better than the base Offense set but lacks the firepower some of the 9 piece variable sets give. However, as an early accessible set players will use this for a while.
