Impulse Artifact Set

The Impulse set is a 2-piece Artifact set that grants SPD +12%, 12% chance to reduce a random Skill cooldown by 1 turn. You can stack up to three sets on one champion for a total of +36% SPD, and improved changes are random cooldown reduction. Which is great through all stages of the game in both PvP and PvE.

This set is only available from Live Arena rewards. This is essentially a Speed set combined with a mini-Reflex set. This means that it can be used in all the same builds where you would use a Speed set, but it’s simply better. It is also the only set that gives cooldown reduction at 2-pieces. Often used on supports with turn meter boost effects or champions with crowd control.  You can still use strong individual pieces as off-set gear when stats matter more than set bonuses.

Impulse is fantastic and sits as the improved version of Speed and Divine Speed sets. The only downsides are the difficulty to obtain and that it cannot fit into a Reflex and Merciless build.
