Mavara the Web Diviner – Champion Spotlight

Mavara the Web Diviner is the mixed fusion legendary champion for April 2026 in RAID: Shadow Legends. With her powerful Arena Aura, Mavara looks like the “OP Arena Champion” that Plarium likes to release around this time each year (see Armanz or Fabian for the previous 2 years). In this guide we’ll break down everything you need to know about Mavara: from how her abilities work; to how to build her; and more!

Mavara is a defensive support, bringing a substantial amount of buffs to your team alongside a single-target revive. She has some strong offensive benefits too through the Ally Attack passive on her A1 and the turn meter boosting on her passive.

A1 – STRIKE ON MY MARK

Mavara’s A1 is extremely interesting. This places the fairly new Fervor buff on a random ally. The passive aspect is what is special here, giving any ally with Fervor a 50% chance to Ally Attack whenever another ally with Fervor attacks; the more allies with Fervor, the more Ally Attacks you will get!

This Fervor passive will work with any Fervor buff on your team, so any future champions with the Fervor buff (such as Glorious Pallas) will form a strong synergy with Mavara. Getting good uptime on Fervor buffs will be a solid damage boost to your team, particularly if you have champions with powerful A1 damage or effects, such as Ninja.

A2 – NEXUS OF SILK

Strengthen and Increase RES on all allies is a very powerful set of buffs: Strengthen is the best damage reduction buff in the game after Ally Protection (but without the downside of redirected damage); and Increase RES opens up special resist strategies for many boss fights or PvP.

To make the most of Increase RES you will want to check the ACC stats of the enemies you intend to fight (or base it off your debuffer ACC stats to estimate similar level opponents in PvP), then aim to have at least 100 RES more than their ACC stats after applying Increase RES. Use our Raid Stages Tool to check any fight in the game to see the ACC stats of enemies.

This ability also equalises the HP of all allies to the highest HP level. This is tremendously powerful, since Mavara herself is quite tanky and will likely have high HP, effectively delivering a massive heal to your entire team. Since it is an equalisation, it will bypass Heal Reduction–and doesn’t count as a heal for the Hallowed Hilt relic, so forget about that potential synergy.

A3 – THE WEBS WHISPER

This is an average revive skill, and is not as good at recovering from deaths as Noldua’s revive from the February fusion. However, this brings some very strong buffs which can be triggered even without a dead ally:

1. Perfect Veil on all allies on a short 3-turn cooldown is incredibly rare, and makes her very valuable for Hydra. It’s also a generally strong defensive buff, forcing single-target attacks onto her in most situations, and reducing AoE damage by 15%.
2. Unkillable on Mavara is very potent for keeping her alive and in the fight to keep her passives triggering.

P1 – THERIDINE VISIONS

Mavara has two incredible effects on her passive.

Firstly, she gives her entire team 20% Turn Meter for every 8 buffs placed on the enemy team. This is mostly only useful in PvP. More accurately, it is incredibly powerful in PvP, and can add up to a crazy amount of Turn Meter against buff heavy teams, and help your team regularly cut in between enemy turns.

Secondly, she heals her entire team by 20% MAX HP for every 16 buffs her team receives. This is amazing everywhere. Mavara herself provides buffs on every ability, and when paired with other buff heavy allies, such as Mithrala Lifebane, she will pump out a huge amount of healing.

AURA – 28% SPD in Arena Battles

This is one of the best auras for Arena in the game, making her very valuable in any Arena mode.

Mavara is a very versatile support who will excell in multiple areas.

CHIMERA

Mavara is fantastic for keeping your team alive against the Chimera, while also bringing the safety of a revive alongside the offensive boost of her Fervor Ally Attacks. The key strategy she opens up is a RES strategy, which is the most consistent way to counter the Viper Form (by simply resisting everything). Pair her with buff extenders and champions with powerful A1 attacks/effects for best effect.

HYDRA

Perfect Veil is a consistent counter to the Head of Torment True Fear passive, and very few champions bring this buff. Most who do usually have a 4-turn cooldown; Mavara has a 3-turn cooldown, making her extremely effective at the job.

ARENA

Her Aura clearly points her here, where Mavara will be a very “sticky” support champion. Her passives are a huge draw, as is her ability to be built with high RES. Expect her to be a top-tier support for players lacking mythical juggernauts such as Theodosia.

FACTION WARS

Mavara is very good for Faction Wars, though she clashes a bit with February fusion Noldua in the reviver role. She combos very well with Lydia and Mithrala due to their buffs, making her arguably a better pick than Noldua, despite having a weaker revive.

GENERAL PROGRESSION

Mavara can honestly be slotted into any team that requires survivability, thanks to her strong buffs, healing, and revives!

Best Stats

The key stats to look for on Mavara are:

1. SPD
2. RES
3. HP%
4. DEF%

SPD is essential to rotate between her abilities. In general she should be built faster than damage dealers, with the goal being to maintain a high uptime on her buffs on your team.

RES is fantastic on Mavara since she brings the Increase RES buff. Check out our Raid Stages Tool to see the RES requirements for any given fight in the game! In a perfect world you should build her for enough RES even without the buff for safety, then aim to build the rest of your team with at least enough RES to hit the minimum requirements while they have Increase RES from Mavara. (For PvP, you will likely be relying on her Increase RES buff to resist tough enemies, such as mythicals).

HP% and DEF% are for survivability. HP% is a better stat for PvP.

Best Gear Sets

The best sets for Mavara are:

1. Mercurial
2. Stoneskin
3. Protection
4. Relentless
5. Chronophage
6. Impulse
7. Speed

Mercurial is by far Mavara’s best set–but only at 9-pieces. This will give her 3 stacks of Total Guard, plus the ability to regenerate up to 1 stack per turn. This massively increases her survivability and protects her from all CC effects.

St0neskin is her best PvP set if you can’t build 9-piece Mercurial. Aim for 6 pieces here, so Mavara has a high chance to survive for 2 turns.

Protection is her best PvE set, since she can provide up to 4 buffs to allies. This can add up to a 20% damage boost with the 9-piece bonus.

Relentless is another very strong PvE set. The more turns she takes, the more often she can use her skills. This also helps her spread Fervor with her A1 more often, leading to more Ally Attacks.

Chronophage is an interesting option to protect Mavara from lockout champions. This can be paired with 4-piece Stoneskin for general use or with 4-piece Mercurial to counter Krixia (and partially counter Sabrael).

After these sets, any set which provides SPD, RES, or survivability is good.

There are a few viable Blessings:

1. Lightning Cage (Legendary): The best option for PvP, particularly when running her in Stoneskin to protect that buff. Less valuable if you’re building her in Mercurial.
2. Temporal Chains (Legendary): This is a great option for PvP, boosting your team’s ability to cut in against buff-heavy teams. Great if running Mercurial
3. Intimidating Prescence (Legendary): This is a great option for PvP, since Mavara has a top tier aura. Good if you lack anyone else on the team with this blessing–and it’s OK in PvE too.
4. Life Harvest (Legendary): A great general PvP option, reducing the effectiveness of enemy revives.
5. Cruelty (Epic): Decent PvE option against bosses, though Mavara only attacks with her A1. Better if running with ally attack champions.

Best Relics

There are several great options for Relics:

1. Stars of the Jiinang (Mythical Discovery Relic): A totally OP relic which doubles down on her TM passive. Broken in PvP.
2. Volcardiac Heart (Mythical Standard Relic): Her default choice if you have it (it’s one of the easier mythicals to get–for what that’s worth). This relic gives her even more survivability, and brings RES main stat to help her RES build.
3. Chrysalid of Rebirth (Mythical Clan Relic): An incredible mythical relic with SPD main stat that lets her cycle turns. Top tier in all content.
4. Wand of Submission (Legendary Standard Relic): This is a good choice for PvP, protecting Mavara from CC. Less valuable if you have Mercurial gear.
5. Perched Shadow (Epic Faction Wars Relic): This is a top choice for PvE, giving Mavara a steady source of extra turns, helping her to place even more buffs.
6. Infernosphere (Epic Clan Relic): This is a budget choice for RES builds, bringing tons of RES on an accessible relic.
7. Journal of Necrotos (Rare Standard Relic): The best budget option. This makes her passive even stronger, and is decent everywhere.
