RAID Reveals New “Web of Corruption” Event
Plarium has revealed the first details for RAID: Shadow Legends’ upcoming “Web of Corruption” event during a special creator collaboration video featuring BigPoppaDrock, Palomasgaming, BoozorTV, and Plarium representative BananaJam.
The showcase included the reveal of a brand-new event dungeon boss, details on upcoming event content, and several community-requested quality-of-life updates currently being discussed internally at Plarium.
The creators involved in the collaboration were:
Web of Corruption Event Confirmed
During the discussion, BananaJam confirmed that RAID’s next major event will be called “Web of Corruption,” with the event expected to begin roughly one week after the video release.
The event is planned to run for around two months and will include a new event dungeon, six new champions, multiple acquisition methods, and a new Legendary boss champion tied directly to the event storyline.
The new boss was officially revealed as Rya the Mourn, a Void Affinity Legendary from the Sylvan Watchers faction.
Rya the Mourn Skill Details

Several portions of Rya’s kit were revealed during the video, and she already looks like a very aggressive damage dealer built around buffs, ignore DEF mechanics, and buff stealing.
Her AoE skill, Discordant Fury, attacks all enemies three times after placing a 50% Increase ATK buff on herself. Each hit can steal a random buff from enemies and fill her Turn Meter for every buff stolen.
Her A1, Anguish and Agony, attacks a single target twice, ignores part of the target’s DEF, heals based on damage dealt, and grants an extra turn if the target is killed.
Another revealed skill, Legacy of Despair, places Weaken before attacking and can ignore additional DEF scaling based on the number of buffs active on Rya. The skill can also place an irresistible Stun if the target dies.
Her passive appears to be the centerpiece of the kit. Rya gains 30% increased damage while under three or more buffs. If she has Increase ATK, Block Debuffs, and Veil or Perfect Veil active simultaneously, she cannot die, and her debuffs become impossible to resist.
Plarium also revealed that her aura boosts Ally ATK for Sylvan Watchers in all battles.
Event Dungeon Reward Set

The event dungeon reward set for Web of Corruption will be the Pinpoint Set.
BananaJam confirmed that Chronophage will not return during this event cycle, although more event dungeon sets may be introduced later in the future.
Six New Champions Planned
Plarium confirmed that six new champions will arrive as part of the event.
The lineup includes the dungeon boss, two fusion champions, one free loyalty champion, and two additional event champions.
The developers also hinted that guaranteed acquisition methods similar to Hero’s Path and Deck of Fate may return during the event, although exact schedules are still flexible.
Chimera Changes and Quick Battles

One of the largest gameplay discussions focused on Chimera and Chimera Clash.
BananaJam confirmed that Plarium is reviewing Chimera Clash scoring systems and wants players to focus more on Trials rather than pure damage output.
The team is also reviewing Chimera rewards and confirmed that Chimera Quick Battles are currently planned for the future. This was one of the biggest quality-of-life reveals from the entire showcase.
The discussion also hinted that upcoming fusions may give players another opportunity to spend saved Fusion Tokens.
Hard Faction Wars Difficulty Adjustments

Plarium also addressed community concerns about Hard Faction Wars difficulty.
According to BananaJam, Polara will receive buffs in an upcoming release, and the overall difficulty of Hard Faction Wars will be reviewed later this year.
The team wants early players who already cleared the content to keep their achievement status for a period before major changes are implemented.
Inventory Filtering Improvements
Another important quality-of-life topic involved accessory filtering and inventory management.
Plarium confirmed that more filtering tools are still being developed, including requested filters for Stoneskin and Merciless accessories.
BananaJam described filtering improvements as an ongoing process that will continue expanding as RAID grows.
Mythical Progressive Events Discussed
The creators also raised concerns about the growing number of Mythical Champions and the difficulty of targeting specific champions through summon events.
Plarium acknowledged that the champion pool has become much larger over time and confirmed the team is reviewing ways to improve the chances of obtaining specific champions.
Although no confirmed timeline was provided, the discussion suggested that additional Mythical-focused summon events are being considered internally.
More Web of Corruption Teasers Coming Soon
Before the showcase ended, BananaJam confirmed that more teasers for Web of Corruption will be released soon.
With a new boss, multiple event champions, fusion plans, dungeon rewards, and several major quality-of-life updates already confirmed, Web of Corruption is shaping up to be one of RAID’s biggest event releases of the year.
