Polara Fireheart

This elemental mistress of the Sacred Order wields the dual powers of frost and flame to obliterate her enemies. As one of the mythical rulers to roam the land, her fiery form grants her the power to banish foes to the underworld for eternity. Yet, she can also transform, unleashing frozen tendrils to immobilize those who dare invade her domain. Polara Fireheart is the Mythical champion earned by 3-starring the entire Faction Wars on Hard mode.

BASE FORM

While in this form, Polara focuses heavily on dealing damage, scaling her attacks based on enemies under HP Burn or Freeze debuffs. Her A2 is a triple-hit, single-target attack that ignores 25% Defence, or 50% if the target is under HP Burn or Freeze. To maximize its impact, setting her up with her Alternate Form or allies is key, as she can only apply HP Burns upon killing enemies, which isn’t effective against bosses. Additionally, Polara destroys the target’s Defense and Resistance, scaling up to 30%, making it easier to deal more damage and apply debuffs.

HP Burn and Freeze debuffs are also crucial for her remaining abilities. Her A3 can block revives, passively deals 25% more damage against affected targets, and doubles her damage against enemies under both debuffs, while ignoring the damage reduction from Freeze. The A3 also targets enemies individually, similar to Thor, allowing her to bypass passives like Duchess or Hydra’s damage reduction while instantly activating Burns for additional damage.

Overall, Polara’s base kit is versatile, excelling against bosses like Hydra, Arena opponents, and enemy waves. Her A1 also contributes to her cycle potential, with a chance to place an extra hit on debuffed targets and a chance to gain an Extra Turn, allowing her to rotate through her skills faster.

ALTERNATE FORM

When Polara transforms, she sheds her fiery form, embracing the icy power of her alternate state. In this form, her skill set centers around Freeze, applying protective effects and introducing a new debuff – Ensnare. This debuff is applied through her A2, reducing any Turn Meter effects received by affected targets by 50% or even 100%. This makes it highly effective against enemies reliant on strong Turn Meter manipulation, such as Senna, giving your team a chance to cut in and counter. Additionally, her A2 provides universal protection by placing Block Debuffs and Strengthen buffs on all allies.

Leading into her A3, Polara becomes the first champion to apply Intercept to the entire team, providing a powerful counter to crowd control effects throughout the game. Additionally, she can apply Freeze to control enemies, setting them up perfectly for her Base form to unleash more damage. Her revival is particularly unique – at the start of each round, she revives each ally, including herself, with 100% HP, but they are Frozen for 1 turn. The upside is that allies under Freeze receive 90% less damage, allowing them to withstand enemy hits until the effect wears off. Additionally, Her A1 supports her kit by placing Ally Protection on a random ally and healing those under them.
