Arbais the Stonethorn Overview

Tainted by the Mistwood Heart Tree that was corrupted by the Shadow God, this Sylvan warrior seeks harmony with her rooted form. Arbais The Stonethorn is a Force Mythical champion residing from the Sylvan Watchers Faction.

Base Form

Arbais stands as the first Mythical Champion from this faction, implementing strong forms of Support & Debuffs to counter her foe. Opening with Harmonious Whisper [Base Form], Arbais will fill the Turn Meters of all allies by 30%, followed by placing a 50% Increase Accuracy buff on them for 2 turns. The synergy of this skill is a great set up for the Arena, which in essence has similarities with Arbiters A3, although she can also alleviate the intensive accuracy stats required in your builds. Leading in to her A2, she can Remove All Buffs on enemies, whilst increasing the duration of ally buffs, followed by placing a Revive On Death on your allies. Whether you wish to remove buffs from your Arena opposition, face the tedious Doom Tower floors, or simply the heads of the Hydra [As examples]… the blend of this A2 combined with the Revive On Death will put you in a great spot for victory! Before we head in to the Alternate form, Arbais throws her daggers to place a Block Active skills on opponents [A1], coinciding with a Petrification Debuff when allies are attacked under Revive On Death! These are both strong forms of crowd control.

Alternate Form

As the sacred Heart Tree takes control over Arbais, she morphs in to the ultimate thorn trap! Roaring through Mistwood [A3] she places a Taunt & Stoneskin buff on herself, coinciding with two Continuous Heal buffs on all allies. As we were introduced to the new Shadowkin Boss, The Phantom Shogun, the power of Taunt peaked a value surge to counter the bosses mechanics, although the synergy of this skill can be utilised for various encounters such as the Arena to counter single target abilities. The remainder of this form is packed with Burns, Leech & Decrease Speed Debuffs [All great for content such as the Hydra], whilst granting damage reduction passives, heals & Turn Meter manipulation. Having such a versatile blend of skills amongst both forms will be extremely valuable for those lucky enough to summon this Mythical Champion!

Arena Roles

Understanding Arena Roles

Champions normally form specific roles within an arena team. Our ratings define the roles that the champion fits and rates them on their ability to perform the roles. Below you can see a breakdown of all of our roles.

Cleanser

Champions with the Cleanser role will use their skills to remove debuffs and keep them from being re-applied.

Crowd Control

Champions with the Crowd Control role will use their skills to place soft (i.e. Provoke or Taunt) and hard (i.e Freeze or Stun) debuffs to disable enemy champions.

Damage

Champions with the Damage role will have skills that deal significant damage and are designed to defeat enemy champions.

Damage Absorption

Champions with the Damage Absorption role will have skills or effects that reduce the incoming damage your team takes. This can be through passive damage reduction or by applying skills such as Strengthen or Shields.

Healer

Champions with the Healer role will have skills that restore your champion's Health including Continuous Heals.

Debuffer

Champions with the Debuffer role will have skills that place debuffs that don't fall into Crowd Control or Skill Manipulator roles i.e. Decrease Defence. These champions may also have skills that remove Buffs.

Revive

Champions with the Revive role will have skills that bring your ally champions back from the dead including Revive on Death buffs.

Skill Manipulator

Champions with the Skill Manipulator role will have skills that increase enemy skill cooldowns or reduce your ally skill cooldowns.

Speed Manipulator

Champions with the Speed Manipulator role will have skills that affect the turn meter of your allies or enemies. This includes speed buffs and debuffs aswell as direct turn meter effects.
