Eostrid Dreamsong Overview
As the winter winds dissipate and the spring breeze sweeps across the leaves of mistwood, Eostrid weaves tales of new life to the protectors of the forest. She joins the Sylvan Watchers as part of the Easter 2024 Fusion Event.
Eostrid is a powerful turn meter speed manipulator that will find its way into many of your teams. Blessed Dreamsong (A3), provides your team with an Increase Speed and Increase Attack to your entire whilst also providing a 15% Turn Meter Boost. This buff is placed on a 3 turn duration with a 4 turn turn cooldown this makes the uptime of this ability 100% as she also gains an extra turn. Her next move is to place Burst of Spring (A2) which is All Enemy attack placing a Decrease Speed and Weaken for 2 turns whilst also decreasing enemy turn meters by 15%. This makes this skill set incredibly powerful because there are no heroes in the game that currently allow you to place these buffs and debuffs on all allies and enemies (as of Update 8.40).
In addition to these two powerful abilities, Eostrid has a passive that will also heal all allies equal to half the amount of turn meter they gain. This does have a 1 turn cooldown so running Eostrid at high speed is recommended. Slumberwisp also gives a 100% chance to Sleep an enemy if they are under both Decrease Speed and Weaken however this won’t be viable for Sand Devil where the debuffs are not placed unless the boss is already asleep.
We expect Eostrid to be incredibly powerful in carrying you across waves and as a Hydra Support champion. She also has a viable place in a speed team in arena although she does provide less turn meter than champions such as Arbiter or Shu-zhen.
